Contains girl to hen tf

Danielle Owens was a pretty girl, all things considered, rocked her own look without shame, had a great pair of friends, and to top it all off, was a skilled witch potent enough to turn mostly anyone into mostly anything. Some people might say the girl had it all, but even a witch was not immune to the social pressures of the tumultuous of life as a woman in her early twenties... even though it felt suspiciously like high school at times.

"Hey Dirty Dani!"

Especially when there were people like Sophie around. Dani turned towards the jeering high pitched noisemaker and her gaggle of giggling gophers, against her better judgment. Sophie was the prototypical popular girl in the high school they attended years back - fake laugh, fake friends, fake personality... at least as far as Danielle was concerned. The girl's nasally laugh at her barely-a-joke joke was added to by her group of friends in their car, parked on the side of the road, doing what it was that girls that peaked in senior year did; make fun of the same people they did in senior year while they were minding their own business trying to enjoy an afternoon walk.

"When's the last time you brushed your mangy mane, Dirty Dani?" Sophie asked, poking fun at the low hanging fruit that was the PURPOSELY messy hairstyle Danielle favored since, of course, senior year.

"Nice ripped jacket Dirty Dani, get that from the pawn shop's dumpster?" her little follower piled on, even though distressed clothing was a pretty normal thing.

Danielle knew better. She knew that leaning in always led to trouble. She knew that doing exactly what she was about to do was dumb, "This what you're doin with your life? Voted most likely to heckle their betters from the side of the road to make themselves feel better about their crappy life?"

"Niiiice comeback," Sophie chuckled, "But you're still all bark, Danielle. You're still the same little anxious nerdy loser that hides behind a veil of sarcasm and your creepy occult stuff. Face it, Owens, you're just talk. But..." She glanced at her posse and fished out a folded card from her purse, much to their collective surprise. She held the card out the window of her car, towards Danielle, "If you want to show how much more powerful and successful and better you are than the rest of us, there's a party tonight. Unless you're too much of a chicken?"

Once again, Danielle's conscience phoned in, begging her to be the bigger woman and walk away. It was obviously a trap - and even if it wasn't, she hated these people! She would have a terrible time! Why are you taking the card, just throw it away do NOT-

"See you there." Danielle said, meeting the challenge head on. Danielle Owens was a lot of things, but first and foremost, she was a witch that was absolutely sick of Sophie and her stupid friends. Her inner, vindictive, voice easily overpowered her conscience. She'd make her see who the chicken was...

That night, Danielle steeled herself and put on her best Sophie impression. That is to say she put on the most plastic smile she could manage and wore the generically popular dress of the week. She offered a wave to the people milling about and strolled right through the courtyard of the house Sophie's parents bought her. She could hear the whispers and giggles. She knew she was here to be another of Sophie's hilarious jokes, but of course she had a plan.

Even before Sophie could call attention to her and begin her routine of humiliating Danielle, she beat her to the punch. She did a twirl and belted out, "Ladies and gentleman! Friends and Foes of Sophie alike, may I have your attention please?"

All eyes pivoted towards Dani, confused but bemused murmurs giving way to a general sentiment of 'This oughta be good'

"Myyyyy name is the Great and Powerful... Danielle Owens! I am here to amaze- and astound- and blow your socks off with my magical show!" Normally, she hated the idea of the hokey pokey magician schtick, but today was not about her pride as a witch, tonight... was alllll about Sophie. "I'll need a volunteer... who better than the lovely and beauuuuutiful Sophie!" she held her hand out to the lady of the house, "Unless... you're chicken?" she added softly, with a smirk.

Sophie should have known better. She should have known that leaning in to this would lead to trouble. She should have known that doing exactly what she was about to do was dumb, but this was better than she could have imagined! The freak had practically done her job for her. Egged on by a chanting crowd, Sophie joined Danielle at the front of the room and bowed.

"Ladies and Gentleman! My lovely assistant shall now..." she grabbed a blanket from the couch and tossed it over her head, "Disappear!" she announced. Fake oohs and ahhs showered Danielle. She tossed glitter, spun Sophie around and around, and tapped her head, "And be replaced, by a big fat hen!" She ripped the blanket away, revealing a very smug Sophie.

"Wow. I knew you were a creepy weirdo, but this was a whole new bwa-GOCK!" Sophie let out a guttural squawk. Her hand flew to her throat in surprise. It was a pretty good impression as far as the onlookers were concerned, thinking she was still playing along.

"What was that Sophie?" Danielle asked, leaning forward and holding her hand to cup her ear, "Didn't quite catch that."

Never one to lose her cool - after all it was all she had, Sophie cleared her throat and opened her mouth, "I said... you're a bock bock- loser and bock baGOCK!" Despite her best effort to muscle through it, the clucks just kept coming, and her cool began to become lost, "What did bock! DO to me- bacock!" she demanded, her voice cracking. The crowd was loving it, apparently, much to Sophie's chagrin. In fact, it was almost creepy the way her party guests were acting...

She didn't have time to worry about that yet though, as Danielle wasn't done yet. She was laughing! At her! This was ridiculous! Almost as ridiculous as tucking her hands into her armpits and flapping them like some kind of chicken. Which she was now doing, "You really took pride in your prim and posh status, but its been waaaay too long since you loosened up!" Danielle said, pushing her in the back, "Strut your stuff!" she said

"BWAK!" Sophie squawked as she stumbled forward, flapping her arms wildly. She started to feel an ache in her feet, and soon enough her shoes tore to reveal gangly, knobbled yellow toes growing rapidly. "What the BWAK! have you Ba-GOCK!" she screeched. She lifted one large talon, then the other, hearing her nails clack clack on her own floor. And then she began to strut, bobbing her head involuntarily, letting out a series of 'bocks' in distress. To make the nightmare worse, everywhere she turned, her guests were laughing at her, cheering for that crazy occult woman, and even tossing seeds at her!

"Hey that looks pretty good huh Sophie?" Danielle asked, "Oh but your mouth is all wrong for that lemme help!" Before Sophie could move away, Danielle flicked her right on the lips, causing them to immediately feel chapped.

"gock bock bock..." she murmured, feeling her lips as they started to harden into an ugly bird's beak. Then, absolutely against her will, she stooped to peck at the floor. Her face burned with humiliation. Eating seeds off her own floor tossed by her own guests all because of that stupid-

"Something isn't quite right folks! What is it? I need some help, what is our hen missing?" Danielle beseeched the crowd that had betrayed Sophie for what the next change should be.

"Bock BWAK ba-GOCK!" Sophie protested, bobbing her head with each cluck. It did little to dissuade Danielle from agreeing with the crowd. They demanded the chicken have proper feathers, and Sophie's skin began to itch all over. Goosebumps covered her body, then grew and grew, white feathers sprouting top to bottom. She tried to get away, but Danielle grabbed her and ripped away her dress, declaring that a chicken in a dress was just silly! What should have been embarrassing because of being stripped down in front of her peers, instead was horrifying because she WASN'T naked - her body was already fully covered in those horrible feathers.

Then it somehow got worse. Danielle was growing larger, towering over the clucking woman. In fact, everyone was growing into giants - but even the terrified chicken-girl knew the truth. She was shrinking. "BWAGOCK! BWAK BOCK!" she cried.

"Ta-da! Sophie has vanished! and in her place..." Danielle turned toward the nearly fully transformed hen, "Is a big... fat... hen." she said each word slowly, menacingly. Then she snapped her fingers.

Hen pecked floor. Looked up around up and peck and nest? Nest need seeds and eggs and? Somewhere in the tiniest reaches of the hen's mind knew something was wrong. That she should be afraid. But the bird's brain had shrunk to the point that the concepts behind the feelings were simply beyond her reach.
