Julie was over at my place again. It seems like she’s been here more nights than she hasn’t. Well, part of her, at least. She tends to either be headless or just her head.
I can probably count on one hand - no, wait, maybe two hands - all the times she’s been whole since we started dating three months ago. Either I go to her place and she gives me her head when I’m leaving, or her roommate takes her head when I arrive and leaves me with her headless body. Recently, she’s been getting dropped off at my house without her head at all. Today was a change of pace - she drove herself and came in in one piece.
“Good, you can hear me *and* try this on,” I said, handing her a box from Amazon that arrived the day before. “Go see how this fits, will you?”
Julie skipped into my bedroom to get changed. After a minute, I heard her call out to me.
”What is it, hon?” I replied.
She stepped out of my room. She was dressed in the tight-fitting black pants, matching black zip-up sweater, and black latex gloves. Her top was barely zipped closed. She was taunting me with her never-ending cleavage.
”The top, babe. The zipper doesn’t stop at my neck.” She stepped closer. “If I were to close this all the way, there wouldn’t be a hole for my head.”
I stared at her jiggling chest, pretending I was examining the zipper. “Oh yeah, I remember now! It’s made that way because you aren’t supposed to have your head when you wear it.”
I looked to her face. She was smirking at me. “You would get something like this, pervert.” She turned to walk to her bag.
”Hold on there,” I said.
“What? I’m just getting my Sonic Knife so you can slice off my head.”
”I know you were. I have something different this time.”
She stopped crouching down to her bag. “Oh?” Her eyes were gleaming as she looked at me and stood straight again.
I grabbed the somewhat large square cloth beside me and stood up. Without a word or moment of pause to explain, I swished the cloth in the air above her head. It flicked out horizontally and floated down onto her head, covering it completely.
She giggled. Other than a quick shuffle of her feet, she stood straight and still.
I took a breath in. I focused. I pictured the result I wanted in my mind. When I became confident of the outcome I wanted, I snapped my fingers. The cloth suddenly started to float down again. It stopped dropping when it reached her shoulders.
Julie felt the cloth move. She reached up to it and started to feel it. Several seconds passed before she realized it was laying across her shoulders where her neck and head should have been. She rapidly moved her hands against and across the blanked expanse.
