Wanda showed up to the girls night with a bag of candies. Victoria jumped at the chance and pulled a sizable bubblegum ball out of the offered bag. As she chewed, she noticed Julie, Lauren, Miranda, and Anita all turned her down. They talked as she worked the gum with her teeth. She tried to say something to add to the conversation, but couldn&#8217;t quite open her mouth. She shrugged and began to blow a bubble.<br /><br />The girls all noticed Victoria&#8217;s head shift in color to a monochromatic pink as she chewed. They saw her lips stay sealed together when she tried to speak. They raised their eyebrows when she started blowing a bubble - her whole head was expanding outwards as she blew. After breathing in through her nose and blowing again, her head strained outwards, clearly larger than before, as &#8212;<br /><br />!!POP!!<br /><br />&#8212; Victoria&#8217;s head burst into flaps of flimsy pink enamel. She dropped to her knees. Patches of her rubbery head floated to the floor. Wanda laughed and walked over, pulling the excess gum from Victoria&#8217;s taffy stump.<br /><br />Victoria felt her neck, but wasn&#8217;t quite aware of what happened. Her attempts at breathing caused the film of gum on her stump to expand up and be sucked down. She was vaguely aware something was different, but with her head reduced to a mashed-up wad of used gum in Wanda&#8217;s hands, she couldn&#8217;t figure out the difference.<br /><br />As the newly headless Victoria stood up and stumbled into Julie&#8217;s arms, Wanda tossed the head gum into her mouth and chewed.
