Lauren woke up on her couch. Ever since her incident with the mirror, her neck never quite had a full grip to her head. As such, she always checked if her noggin was still attached (or at least nearby) after sleeping. She had her head when she laid down for a nap. But as she swiped empty air above her neck, Lauren realized it had fallen off again. Sure, her head was still her and could probably see her, but that didn&#8217;t help her when her body couldn&#8217;t connect to it.
