        <strong>Cyberpunk TFTG Writing Contest</strong>EDIT: Contest is Extended until February 8th due to a series of flights I'll be onHey, just doing another one right away because I'm quirky and silly and a dingus...Anyway, theme should be rather obvious: <span>Cyberpunk</span>, the genreThe contest will be split into 2 categories, Original and Fanfiction. What does and doesn't count as cyberpunk is of course a bit hazy. Where the line is between a cyberpunk world and a general scifi world sometimes seems to be mostly aesthetic. But even then things like Star Wars have settings that are very close to cyberpunk.I would say to use your best judgment. Personally I'm a bit old school and believe the word itself is the rule. Cyberpunk settings explore the evolution and coexistence of people with technology (Cyber) and also have some element of rebellion against a system or 'the man' (Punk). If you just want it to mean LED gasmasks and neon mohawks and robot noodle restaurants that's fine too.<span>Rules and Junk</span><span>-The contest will run from today to the last day of January</span>-There will be a minimum of <span>4 winners</span>-Entries will be separated by whether they are original or based on an existing work. -Entries about only original characters in an existing setting will be considered original-1 winner in each category will be decided by a vote completed by entrants-1 winner in each category will be decided by myself after reviewing all entries-Additional winners could be added if we hit certain entrant counts. -There is no word-count on entries (within reason)-Both captions and stories are accepted-Images are allowed but not required-NSFW is allowed. -OCs turning into existing characters is not allowed The prizes will be full color, fullbody commissions of whatever you want. It does not have to be related to your entry or Cyberpunk. It does not have to be TFTG. You can also opt for a $20 cash prize sent through paypal.For media that counts as Cyberpunk (besides the most obvious one): Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell, Batman Beyond, Deus Ex, Shadowrun, System Shock, Ready Player One, etc Things like Robocop, Tron, the Matrix, Judge Dredd, and Cowboy Bebop are all more debatable but can be counted as well.
