A revision of some ideas for a gang of OCs. You can see Elzy and Efra in artworks I commissioned from ChaosCroc, such as

Elzy was originally designed by Chaos Croc as a fursona/OC for me.

Sketching Basilisks: Character SheetSpecies Guide:
Within a crossroads of small pocket dimensions known as the Catacombs, numerous worlds are connected to each other. On each of these worlds, various species reside, and variously treat each other as playthings, slaves, food, or more rarely, allies.
Sketching Basilisks: Sketching Basilisks are a race of basilisks inhabiting the area around The Great Rift, a time-space eddy that grants them access to a wide range of timelines and dimensions to find subjects. They jealously guard the Rift against more aggressive species. Like most petrifying creatures they use their gazes mostly for their own amusement, in this case, to petrify targets and use them as inspiration for drawings. Their gazes usually are not permanent, lasting from between a few days to a few months, though stronger Sketching Basilisks have a near permanent gaze that can last for years.
Gallery Gorgons: Gallery Gorgons are a race of humanoid lizards, their females having powerful petrifying gazes.

The Sketching BasilisksThe Sketching Basilisks are a strange species. Like many beings with petrification powers they use it mainly for their own amusement, creating art from their power. Unlike the collecting catobplebas or the gallery gorgons, they do not collect their actual subjects. Instead, they merely use their petrified victims as life models for drawings and paintings. They also benefited from their species having control of the Great Rift, allowing them access to other worlds, other times, and other dimensions, vastly increasing their available subjects.
They were a mostly harmless species. Victims can usually expect to be delayed at most a few days as the basilisk scribbles away. But, of course, there are exceptions.
Elzy the basilisk was one such exception.
Renamon was on edge tonight. Something was out there, and it didn't feel like a Digimon. Careful not to attract attention herself she was moving around the Makino's residence, trying to find what it was, if there was anything.
"Aha, you'll do!
