This is a contest entry for :iconda-entranced:'s contest, which was to make a holiday themed hypnosis/mind control artwork or story. There's a little more than hypnosis involved though, but it's not intended as the main event.

Planning a Christmas party goes wrong for the Digidestined when a new foe appears intent on taking the festive season -and the Digidestined- all for himself...

A fairly bland and obvious name for an "original" Digimon I suppose, and dwarfed by the entries already made, but the aim was to take part for me.

And in case you're somehow intrested, Tinselmon's attacks and powers, plus the Santa-slaves

Bauble Trance: Baubles and Decorations on his body glow and put the victim into a complete state of trance, making subsequent attacks easier
Tinsel Attack: Either binds foes, or uses the tinsel to whip them.
Golden Ring Conversion: Converts his target into a Santa-slave under control of a small fragment of his mind, drawing the victims mind into a bauble on his body and preventing it being called back to the body by the soul, to ensure perfect obedience
Naughty or Nice: A beam of light from the star on his head either turns the target to coal or to gold. Contrary to his claims, it is random and not in any way actually affected by how good or bad the target was.

Santa Slaves -

Controlled converted victims. Females generally work better for their intended role to enslave their own mini-army of blank minded drones.

Mistletoe Kiss: The Santa-slaves kiss a target, drawing their mind into the sprig of Mistletoe which becomes a bauble. The target becomes a drone obeying his (or her) santa-slave, and the bauble is given to Tinselmon to gain new Mistletoe.
Tinsel Strings: Allows them to control the bodies of a target like a puppet, but not their minds.
