This is the Thousand Words inspired by this picture: <a href="https://romford.deviantart.com/art/a-moment-later-148466208">[link]</a> suggested by someone who wishes to remain anonymous and has the artists permission. I had to move to this one because the second suggestion, the artist of the picture didn't reply yet, and my last request from the previous group also is unable to settle on an idea.<br /><br />The picture depicts the family looking more confused than frightened at the strange event, and as the child of the family's gender is not obvious to guess, I decided that the story written could work with a simpler narrative, not naming them beyond their role in the family: Mother, Father, Child. To me, by not giving them a name it established from the start of the mindset that in the present of this story, they are animals now. What few moments as human are the past. The present is their state in the picture, and their future... Well, anything might happen. <br /><br />I liked writing this, that open feeling of puzzlement and confusion they have wondering what happened and if this is local, similar to an initial query raised in The Nonokamons when the Nonokas wonder if perhaps the whole world is now like they have become.
