this is a request from <a href="https://bloodthirster.deviantart.com/"><img class="avatar" src="https://a.deviantart.net/avatars/b/l/bloodthirster.jpg?4" alt=":iconbloodthirster:" title="bloodthirster"/></a> and he wanted a story about his characters from his dnd heroes series. he asked for his shapeshifter cylene to take revenge on jake, by petrifying his parents and forcing him and bianca to escape her.<br /><br />when they return to find crystal petrified, and see mordan join his wife as stone, jake and bianca have to flee. soon, they are forced to walk into a certain trap to save their parents, and themselves, from the revenge of a mysterious foe...<br /><br />i deliberately decided to have them never realise it&#039;s cylene they&#039;re facing. i felt that would be an amusing twist, that she&#039;d be taking revenge and they don&#039;t even remember her. to help the idea, i never refer to her as cylene when there are people present other than her. i also made sure the heroes never see her shapeshift.
