The Hypno Roulette is a somewhat unusual nightclub. It may not seem so odd if you describe it as a bookings-only club, note there is a membership option, and that potential guests need to agree to certain terms and conditions. The unusual part is the club's app, required to gain a booking.

For every night the club is opening at eight, the wheel will spin at six, so to speak. Three from four clients and members will be confirmed as guests on the night and told that opening was in two hours.

The rest, will be greeted with a spiral, spinning on the screen of their phone, drawing them into a trance, and then, giving them hypnotic training for their role on the night. Waiting staff, bar staff, security, even the DJs and live entertainment will be randomly hypnotised and trained to deliver a night of excitement to the rest of those that had won the spin of the wheel.

There are permanent staff, of course, there to manage and in case of emergency situations. All are hypnotists themselves, able to help keep the trances going and spot if anyone on the 'staff' was breaking out of their temporary training too soon. And of course they can offer a little assistance to other guests that may wish to try out some hypnosis. Nervous dancers losing their anxieties for the evening or quick gags for the most part, but a few creative ideas had popped up now and then. The club has been successful so far, to the point those behind it are pondering a perhaps more adult sister location, but full details are being kept under wraps for now, even if some of the 'guests/staff' on the opening night may not be....
