Squirrel Girl hadn't caught the name of this guy in the weird suit walking around Hell's Kitchen, but she had caught that somehow he was able to get them to do his bidding. People handing over wallets and purses, cops just walking away.
"Hey, buddy! Even if you're using some trick to get them to hand it over, it's still theft," She said, hopping down to confront him, a couple half-dozen squirrels with her.
(Wait no that's just a dozen squirrels)
"Squirrel Girl! ...Is Spider-Man on vacation?" Said The Guy, as his suit began... shifting in colours?
"Uh, no, he works Queens and downto...wn..." Squirrel Girl replied, feeling dazed suddenly.
"Well, what about The Punisher?"
"He does... mob stuff..."
"Fantastic Four?"
"D-Dude, you're hardly... Galactus... Or Doctor Doom..."
(Why was it so hard to reply, to look away? The shifting suit, the kaleidoscope, the spirals, so pretty...)
"And yet you're here, the Unbeatable Squirrel Girl."
"Do they... actually c-call me that, I can't remember if t-that's just the title of the comic or not...."
(Actually, she couldn't remember a lot now she thought about it. Like, what was her name again?)
The Guy smirked.
"Well, perhaps not as unbeatable as they say. After all, you and your squirrels are all but under my thrall...."
(Hey, so they were, even her squirrels were as dazed as her!)
"Oh. That's not good is it," She realised.
"Not for you, no, but for me, it's great. As, having defeated the only hero on the scene, well, I can have you command an army of Squirrels for me to obtain vast riches! Well, okay, we might need to go to Central Park and find some more, Hell's Kitchen doesn't really have much in the way of...."
The Guy paused.
"Oh crap this is Hell's Kitchen," he realised, just as a red-clad foot collided with his head from behind.
Squirrel Girl blinked as The Guy collapsed in a heap, his suit switching off. Daredevil stood there.
"Oh, hey, thanks for the save, DD! This is why I love team-ups!"
"No problem," Daredevil shrugged, as he helped restrain the burbling Suit Guy.
