Toru Hagakure still felt a little strange in her new costume even though she'd been given it months ago now. Her visit to Metroville in the US had resulted in a meeting with Edna Mode, and access to some special materials modified for her quirk, based off the quirk of an American 'Super'.

An American super she had actually wound up teaming with as their stealthy powers let the two sneak into a villainous lair and scout it out, where a dozen people had been taken hostage by a small gang that featured a quirk user able to disrupt efforts at using many other surveillance methods somehow.  However, while having two people with a similar set of powers was an interesting team up, there were... issues.

But for now, the Stealth Heroine was looking at files on a small computer in a remarkably empty room.

"...Er, Toru? Are you in here?" A voice whispered from nowhere.

"Yeah, I'm here, Violet!" She whispered back, letting the special gloves of her suit resist her always-on powers and appear.

"Alright. I wonder if Edna can build a communicator that can turn invisible, finding each other invisible is such a pain...."

"Well, I know a girl back in Japan that has some tech skills, maybe she can help. But have you found the hostages?"

Violet nodded.

Toru waited.

"...Oh, uh, you couldn't see that could you, I nodded. They're actually in the next room from here, the gang's altered the layout to make it a maze to reach tough.. I say we mark this wall as somewhere for a heavy hitter to punch through, while other heroes can sweep. "

"Great! I found some computer files as well, they wrote down all their quirks," Toru replied.

Violet relaxed her powers over her face, letting Toru see her confusion.

"...Who does that? Why would you deliberately write down your powers and leave it as like a bonus objective or something?"

Toru was about to respond when footsteps neared, and one of the gang members burst into the room.

"Show yourselves! We heard you talking! And... there's no one here?!"

The puzzled criminal looked around the empty room, the computer chair spinning around.

"....GHOSTS! AAAAAH!" The criminal screamed, fleeing in terror.

Violet and Toru blinked invisibly.

"To answer your question from before, I think they're just really dumb. And I think we just saw more proof of that."
