Aqua and Kairi both awoke confused, and then startled to see a lioness standing over them.
"Gha!" Kairi said involuntarily, making the Lioness also jump back.
"Whoa, you things are alive!" It said.
"...Did that Lion just talk?" Aqua blinked.
"...Did you just talk?!"
Following some introductions, and confusion over being able to understand each other, shared knowledge of Sora proved a unifying factor. The Lioness said her name was Nala, and the three began travelling to find... something.
"I met him, once, but... that was in my home. And he was a lion, not a.... human, is it? I suppose wherever we are things are different," Nala said.
"You can say that... there's almost nothing here," Kairi sighed, taking off her boots.
"Yeah, just that rock over there," Aqua pointed, kicking off her own shoes.
They kept walking, unaware that as they did so, Nala's body was shifting a little.
"Sure is a long walk," Kairi sighed as she slipped her socks off.
Aqua nodded agreement, her sleeves and gloves falling to the desert sands.
"At least it's fairly cool. Back home, it can be really hot at this time of day," Nala reported.
Her rear legs were longer now, and her front paws seemed to be elongating slightly.
"Yeah, that's a small mercy!" Kairi agreed, unzipping her dress and letting it fall. Aqua pullled off her black socks, and undid the cloth strips at her waist.
"So, you two have keyblades like Sora did, yeah?" Nala said, walking on her hind legs only.
"Yeah, we can summon them when needed," Aqua said, stepping out of her shorts as Kairi shrugged off her shirt.
On the humans bodies, patches of tan fur were growing.
"Well, guess that's not now, nothing for miles!" Nala scratched her head with her fingers.
Aqua pulled her top off as Kairi undid her bra, the three walking in silence for a few moments, just the last rustles of cloth as the now fur-covered pair divested their last clothes. Nala walked, tail drifitng softly, hands on the back of her head.
"Say, what were those things on you guys before, why'd you drop them?"
"Oh, clothes? They're a human thing. Lionesses don't need them so we took them off, my Queen" Aqua replied to Nala.
"Hm, I see. Well, not long until we're back at the den, my knights!"
The three humanoid lionesses marched onwards, Queen Nala flanked by her loyal Keyblade Knights....
Blank eyed, the entranced Namine watched through the crystal ball.
"The task is done," She told herself, finishing off the spell she had been performing, feeling the last shreds of humanity fade in Aqua and Kairi, the last shreds of quadrapedal life vanishing in Nala.
And as the hypnotised blonde began divesting her own clothing, she reached into the crystal ball, and was transported to the world she had been watching, ready to join the other Lionesses there...
