Into Rock...
...From Rock
It was Pikachu who noticed the strange medallion first, excitedly pointing at it. He and Ash had gone for a walk, their companions back at their campsite.
"Pika pi!" He said, not sounding at all like Ryan Reynolds.
"Hey, what's that you found, buddy?" Ash wondered, moving over to pick it up.
It seemed to be a small granite depiction of an Onix, on a leather strap, inside another band of silver, letting the granite part seemingly spin. Turning the whole thing over, Ash noted the other side seemed to be the depiction of a human shape.
"Huh, strange little thing. Still, guess someone lost it. And it's kind of interesting I guess," He shrugged, deciding to try it on.
"Hm... Seems weird with the human shape out"
And he flipped the medallion over.
And began to grow.
"Hey, wait, what the-"
His skin turned grey, as his height increased, his hat flying off. His arms shrank inwards, his legs elongated and merged, as with a faint cry, he began to change from human, into a snake-like mass of rocks, nearly nine meters long, the medallion still around his 'neck'.
Standing on the base of his tail, but not for long as he fell with a startled shout of "Onix!"
Coughing from the dust his falling partner had kicked up, Pikachu said only one thing.
"Holy thunderbolts, you turned into a Pokemon again," this time sounding quite a lot like Ryan Reynolds.
"Pika-chu!" is what he said if a human had been listening.
"Oh, I guess it turned me into an onix," The newly-transformed Pokemon blinked, and then realised a small problem.
"...Pikachu, can you turn the medal back around, I don't have hands anymore."
"Alright!" The yellow electric mouse agreed, as Ash leaned his head down to the ground.
"Wait, oh no, it didn't work!"
"What?!" Ash gasped
"Kidding, I'll actually turn it around this time..."
And with that, Ash was back to normal.
"...Guess I'm lucky it didn't rip my clothes, now where'd my hat go?" He sighed.
"Pika," Pikachu pointed at it, stuck on a branch, nearly seven meters up.
"...Ah dang it, here we go again."
And so Ash flipped the medallion to fetch his hat back.
"Pika pi!" He said, not sounding at all like Ryan Reynolds.

With a cry, Ash was caught between the beams from Mew and Mewtwo, falling to the ground, and turning grey.
The onlooking pokemon and humans stared in shock as he turned to stone, lifeless and inanimate.
Shock turned to sorrow, as the assembled pokemon and their clones began weeping openly after Pikachu's vain efforts to revive him failed. Shimmering tears flowed, shimmering and swirling over the petrified form of the trainer, who began to glow blue.
Over the sobs, a crackling noise could be heard, lines appearing in Ash's stone form, pouring out brighter glows than the blue shimmer covering his form, and then, with a flash and crack, Ash's form was gone, and in his place, was a slim four-legged blue shape, with a white underside, diamond markings, and a long purple mane.
"Sui...cune?" The shape said, sounding a little like Ash, and very confused.
The pokemon and humans stared, until Misty broke the silence.
"...What?"
Mew and Mewtwo both facepalmed, as the confused Suicune that Ash had become stared down at himself, likely echoing Misty's sentiment.
