A Candle of Mars
Rei Hino, Sailor Mars, was alone in responding to this Youma. It had struck while she was just walking through the shopping centre, and had begun attacking. She hadn't seen what it could do yet, but as she rounded a corner to where yells came from, she found out.
A candle in the shape of a woman stood there, the Youma reaching to light the wick.
"Stop!" She yelled, lobbing a fireball carefully at the creature, which dodged.
"Aha, thanks for offering but I have my own light!" It replied, and shot a wave of flame at her, easily dodged.
But it had been a trap. She dodged right into a stream of wax, that hit her leg.
"Oh no!"
"Oh yes," the Youma cackled, as the wax began to spread.
Up her leg it flowed, locking her knee in place, fixing her red shoe in place as it transformed into pale white solid parrafin. Up and up it went, crossing her hips to flow down, transforming the bottom of her Sailor Scout costume to wax too, the red of her skirt paling. The rest of her costume, and her skin below, became wax too, as her other leg was frozen solid like her first.
The purple bow on her chest turned alabaster, as she struggled, trying to fight back somehow, but it was impossible. Down her shoulders, down her arms, up her neck. Her gloves and hands below, wax. Her neck, wax. Flowing up and freezing her mouth open in a gasp, wax. Wide eyes locked open in their new material, as the white wax finished the job flowing down her long black hair.
Every single inch of her was wax. Clothes, flesh, inside, wax through and through. But the final change came as a wick began to grow from the top of her head, and the cackling Youma neared. With a wave, the wick lit- and Rei's candle began to burn.
"Well, little Sailor Scout, you and all these other candles of mine have time to burn. Let's hope you have some more friends around, huh?"
Rei's already-melting form could not reply, molten drippings flowing down her face like tears.
Y'Sholta in Crystal
But for the Cultured Conjurer, blushing, or any movement, was not an option. For along with her near-nudifying, the tan skin of the feline-like beauty was transformed at the same time into shimmering, transparent crystal. Her long smooth legs exposed now as glittering and glasslike. Her toned stomach a reflective shimmering gem. Her breasts precious rocks, her eyes smooth gemstones, her very hair and the fur of her ears and tail now a forest of shimmering fine glass fibres, the tail itself just a glass rod.
The black of her underwear and the staff in her hands were the only variation from the glittering wonder the beautiful woman had become. With a smirk, her petrifier wandered over, looking through her stomach.
"Well, that's quite nice. I can see riiiight down inside..."
'What are you planning to do, you vile creature?!'
"Of course you do look kinda heavy, so I guess we part ways here. See you around once this wears off in about, oh, two weeks... Unless someone steals you, that is!"
And so he wandered off, leaving the near-naked statue of a very mortified Miqo'te behind to await whatever would happen in the next two weeks....
Sapphire Sailors
Haruka Tenoh and Michiru Kaioh, Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune respectively, were in a losing battle with their foe. Both were tired, beaten and bruised by the powerful magic their enemy was using, and no help seemed to be coming.
As a bolt rushed towards Michiru, Haruka watched in horror, knowing her comrade and lover wasn't able to dodge it. But she could get there first.
"Aargh!"
It was agonising to take the hit, but it would have hurt more to see it strike Michiru. Even so, the power of the hit threw the teal-uniformed Sailor Scout backwards. Haruka, however, slumped down, halfway to unconcious.
And then the foe had her by the neck.
"...Do your worst. The rest of the Senshi will wipe the floor with you," Haruka spat in defiance.
"Hm, no, I'm not a mop. No object I. But you... you're quite a statuesque looker, aren't you?"
The foe's hand glowed, and Haruka felt to her horror as her uniform somehow began ripping and tearing. The dazed Michiru could only watch as her lover was stripped nude.
"Not bad, not bad.. but you're quite precious."
And with that, her smooth pale skin began to turn blue and transparent. Her round buttocks, her long legs, her back, her short blonde hair, Michiru saw her become sapphire. At the front, her flat stomach became polished mineral, her exposed breasts transforming to the blue shimmering crystal. And her face began to shift, her pain fading from her expression, instead striking a broad smile, friendly and inviting, a contrast to the anger and agony it had been in a second before.
And it was done. Neptune was now a sapphire statue. Michiru screamed her name in agony - but a second later, the foe grabbed her, and she too would be on her way, soon to join her lover as a nude statue, her turquoise flowing hair turning to shimmering pale transparent blue.
It would be two months until the spell was broken, but for them, they had feared eternity would be as statues in the last seconds before the change, and the weeks as gemstones were an agony of isolation, forced to stare with fake smiles at their lover across from them. But their allies came through in the end, freeing them from their own bodies turned prisons.
She'd taken a knee, bending down to tie her shoelace... and never stood back up. She couldn't.
She had no idea what even happened to her. One second, flesh and blood, the next, an eternity in cold stone.
Was there a flash? Some magic spell, some technology gone wrong? She didn't know. Was she the only one petrified? Was the whole area around, or even the whole world frozen like her? She would probably never know. Her mouth was open, she thought, so maybe she'd screamed.
She knew it had been a long time. Months, maybe years. If there were still people out there what would they find? She could feel some things, and hazard a guess. She knew holes had formed in her shirt, many of them. She was sure something had begun growing on her, moss or lichen.
What would they think, of a weather-worn statue wearing tattered rags, a faded green skirt? Shoes likely sank into the mud... was she even in mud? Where had she even been when this happened?
Would they know what happened to her? Would they realise what she was? Would they rescue her somehow, was there some cure to... whatever happened?
...Would there be anything to go back to? Her family, friends... Did she have any? Did she even have a name? She didn't know any more.
Could maybe she have always been a statue? No... She was sure she'd been something else. A human, a girl. She'd had friends! Had a family! A name!
But would she ever remember them?
She asked herself these questions over and over, knowing no answer could ever come. And maybe, no salvation either.
Staying here forever, trying to tie shoelaces that may rot away long before she crumbled... that may well be her fate.
But, she couldn't ever know for sure.
All she could do, was sit, wait, and ask herself questions.
Cold Shower
Humming to herself, she walked into the bathroom, turned on the radio, and disrobed herself of her pyjamas, getting ready to shower for the day ahead. Some random pop song played, nothing she knew, but nothing terrible, as she entered the shower.
Getting a soak and lathering up,she hummed along to the beat, scrubbing and cleaning, until a song she knew came on. Delighted, she sang along, even as she washed up. Soapy suds flowed down her body, and she washed her long hair, off-tune singing echoing off tiles.
This was the way to wake up, a nice warm shower, good music... A pity the song was over...
"A reminder of our main news update, the government has warned against use of any drinking or washing water in the city area after a chemical spill. Though they say the chemical is harmless, they warn it can have adverse reactions with higher temperatures or some household products. If you have drank any water or washed in it, or a family member has, they advise you consult an emergency helpline, five five five..."
Hm? Not to wash... Wait. She'd washed! She WAS washing! Uh oh!
Turning to focus on the radio, she was then barely able to give a panicked shriek as her shower turned freezing - literally. Icicles formed, and her soapy body froze solid in a second.
The steam of the hot shower had turned into the foggy mist of cold air and ice, the frozen water, and frozen woman, sparkling and shimmering in a pale blue. Icicles of water and suds hung off her, frozen in mid flow by the sudden change. The thin brittle water spray crumbled down, the pipes blocked by the ice now, but her colder larger form stood, and would stay for some time. Her bathroom had plunged so cold so fast the radio had frozen, the mercury of the thermometer had shrank off the scale.
And of course, living alone, meant that she simply would have to await a thaw. But thanks to her bathroom being well insulated, it could be some time, assuming no one came looking and found her, flash frozen in the shower. An accidental frozen flasher.
Twofer
Flail swinging, Sejuani's foe dodged, making the Fury of the North growl in irritation.
"Stand and fight!" She growled, the serpent-like enemy laughing.
"Am I getting under your skin?" Cassiopeia taunted.
"I'll get under yours when you hold still!" Sejuani growled, swinging away.
At this, Cassiopeia's fangs shot out, and Sejuani dodged, only to realise the serpent's embrace was readying a poison cloud. Preparing a different attack to try and slow her enemy down, she was instead surprised by a petrifying gaze instead.
"Look into my eyes," Cassiopeia taunted, as the Iceborn warrior petrified, her blue armour and furs turning into grey stone.
What she had overlooked though, was that the flail of ice was still spinning, and with a hit, Cassiopeia found herself flash-frozen by it
And so, the two champions were frozen, one in stone, one in ice.
'Alright, we'll call that a draw, for now...' Sejuani thought, fighting to escape her petrification before the serpent thawed....
Xion in Stone
She had no idea who they could be, but they were surely another keyblade wielder. She'd barely blocked his... or her... attacks. They fought well, but she feared they were toying with her.
She seemed to have lost the attacker though, and carefully, she made her way out from cover. No sign...
And then the cloaked figure was there, forcing her to parry.
"Who are you?!" She said as keyblades clashed.
The figure span away, dodging her efforts, and then swung again. Parry, parry, block, the duel was fruitless for her, and she was now sure this was some game to the attacker
"Answer me! Can you speak?"
The figure leapt back, staring her down.
"Not even one word? Please... I don't know what I did to offend you, why are you attacking me?"
The figure rushed forward, and to her shock, disarmed her. She stumbled back, and the attacker said one word at last.
"Break."
In an instant she was cocooned in earth spires that shot up, frozen as she stumbled back. The spire crumbled, revealing Xion was now turned to stone, her black shirt and white skirt contrasting against lifeless rock.
The attacker swiped their keyblade along her, gashes appearing on her shirt. It fell away in ribbons, her stone form below unharmed. A pink bra was revealed, cupping her breasts, but with a swipe it too was sliced away. Her skirt was first flipped by the blade, the material going up,l etting the attacker get a view of her pink panties hugging her now-petrified posterior and pelvis, before it was chopped away, followed by the panties. A few swipes at her shoes finished the disrobing.
Xion now stood nude, eternally staring in shock at where her attacker had been when he cast the spell, one hand looking almost now like trying to cover a breast, the other semi-loose at her side. Curved hips and smooth legs were locked in place, for all time.
The attacker cast a keen eye over their new trophy. And without a word more, they simply made a hand gesture. A strange portal opened, taking them and the forever petrified Xion away to places unknown, to stand motionless, thoughtless, and timeless.
