Ash and Misty were, as was remarkably common, arguing as they walked through a spooky forest.

"Why do I even hang around with someone as stubborn as you?"

"I'm stubborn? Have you mistaken me for you somehow?"

"Oh, no, I could never mistake myself for you, you're unique, unique in how annoying you are!"

Their voices carried over across the forest, towards a small graveyard, where a Gengar and a Misdreavus had been happily sleeping the day off.

'What on earth is that awful noise?' Misdreavus wondered.

'Humans... In my graveyard?' Gengar growled.

'Hey, when did this become yours, poisonbutt? And anyway, they're not in the graveyard.'

'Loud menaces. And speaking that silly human speak as well....'

'Let's go shut them up...'

Back with the arguing pair, the argument continued.

"And I can't even remember what we're arguing about any more but it has to be your fault!" Misty huffed

"Oh, sure, blame me when you started it," Ash retorted.

"Pika..." Pikachu said, meaning 'Uh, guys, there are two angry ghosts over there.'

'Be silent foolish humans, you are loud enough to wake the dead!' Gengar hissed

'Literally!' Misdreavus added.

The pair did not hear, or even notice the two ghosts.

'You, Pikachu thing, tell them to notice us, we demand they shut up!' Gengar asked.

"Pika..." 'Good luck with that, pal, I could shock them and they'd keep arguing...'

"And another thing - oh hey, where'd these ghosts come from? Agh! I bet you woke them up being so loud!" Misty said.

"Me?! I woke them?! You're louder than a rock concert!"

"What's that meant to mean?!"

'Okay, wow, these two are idiots,' Gengar sighed.

"Pika-pi." 'Yeah. It almost makes me want to climb into a pokeball sometimes.'

'Okay, screw this, I'm tired of their stupid loud human-ness!' Misdreavus fumed, pulling out a blob of ectoplasm.

"Pika?" 'Uh, what are you doing?'

 'I'm just going to throw this transforming ectoplasm and turn one of them into another pokemon. Killing humans is bad, people in grey jumpsuits with proton packs show up, and that's no fun.'

"Pik-pika." 'Alright, fine, but they feed me and stuff, killing them would be sucky,' Pikachu said, giving the amount of hoots anything that wasn't a Noctowl or Hoothoot usually gave (IE zero).

The ghost threw the ectoplasm at Ash.

'I'll get the really loud one!' Gengar threw a blob of his own at Misty.

'Wait, no, idiot, if they're both pokemon they can talk to each other still!'

The pair shrieked (loudly) as the blobs hit their faces and began to spread. The two began shrinking, as if melting into more ectoplasm.

'Oops...'

'Well, great. Pick something fast and transform her...' 

'Um...'

The ectoplasm blobs had melted down into puddles, clothing floating in them. The Gengar manipulated his blob and from where Misty once stood, the shape of a Scolipede began to emerge.

'Maybe she'll be quiet now..' Gengar wondered

The Scolipedified Misty then began screaming and running around in circles.

'AAAGH I'M A BUG I'M A BUG I'M AN ICKY HORRIBLE BUG!'

'You jinxed it. Oh crap...'

From the blob that had been Ash, emerged a Jynx.

"...Jynx?" 'What the, I got turned into a pokemon again?!'

'Wait, again?'

"Pika. Pika! Pi..." 'Yeah, he turned into a pikachu once, he could talk normally. Oh, and there was that time he was a Goodra! Oh, and.'

'Oh, wow, Pikachu, I can understand you!' Ash said.

'...HORRIBLE ICKY BUG EW WHY DID THIS HAPPEN I BET THIS IS ASH'S FAULT....'

'My fault?!'

'SHUT UP, SHUT UP, SHUT UUUP! IT'S BOTH YOUR FAULTS! I was asleep, you woke me up, I wanted you quiet, this idiot ruined it!' Misdreavus fumed.

'You should have explained your plan better!' Gengar protested

'Oh, sure, blame me! You jumped the gun and made bug-girl even louder!'

'Ash, this is your fault, I'm an ugly icky bug because you're too loud!'

'And I'm a Jynx because you can't keep it down!'

'They're still arguing now, and louder, and understandable, because of you, fool!'

'Me? My fault? Oh, no, this is you, you started this...'

The two ghosts and two transformed humans argued louder than ever before.

"Pika..." 'So it's come to this,' Pikachu sighed, and rifled through Ash's clothes to find a pokeball to hide in...
