"I know, but Tai, Sora, and Matt lost a bet with Mimi, so they all get hypnotised, she tells them what to think, and then they go meet her in the Digital World. And hey, they're paying you." Kari reassured her.
"Still, you don't see everyone asking Agumon to light fires or Hawkmon... um... giving up feathers for quills."
"Don't worry anyway, Gatomon, there's no way you can get me anyway, I didn't even need the mirror a few weeks ago."
Kari just smirked.
"Yeah, Tai, I said something like that and I wound up walking around dressed as a cat for a day."
"Let's just get this over with." Matt sighed, fearing another bikini.
Tai was close. He'd taken a while to actually go under. Even now he seemed a little argumentative.
"Everyone raise their right hand." Mimi commanded.
Sora and Matt did it right way. Tai did it slower.
"Well, he's under after all." Gatomon noted.
"No 'm not... I'm in control of myself..." Tai said sleepily.
"Eh, I'd make him admit he's under but this is funnier. Sora, I want you to walk doing a handstand when you come to the digital world. You're not wearing a skirt, right?"
"I am wearing shorts." Sora reported.
"Good. Matt, I want you to walk like a chicken and cluck at random in your sentences!"
"I *cluck* obey, Mimi."
"And Tai... I want you to start acting like a very girly girl. Be proud of having long, silky hair, smooth legs... Like me, basically!"
"I'm not... I'm a.... girl... pretty..." Tai mumbled.
" Now, come meet me!"
Tai was a little slow, so the others went ahead. Sora grumbled all the way.
"I hate walking like this. "
"At least you don't look or sound *cluck* as stupid as me..."
Mimi soon neared.
"Hey, guys! Glad to see you're obeying and... whoa, Tai, I think you took the pretty girl thing too far."
They turned. Kari and Matt jumped, Sora almost fell over.
"Whoa! When did he put those on?!" Gatomon wondered.
Tai approached, and now wore a skirt in place of the cargo pants he had on before entering the digital world. Her hair was now longer and neater, and t-shirt a bit tighter. Showing that something else was altered...
"...Wait. He's an actual *cluck* girl?!"
"How is that even possible?" Sora wondered.
"...Oh, I think I know. He must have been deeper than we thought. Remember our appearances in the Digital World are based on our own mental self-image?"
"It is?" Mimi wondered.
"...It's like a custom avatar or something, I dunno. But Tai... must have thought he really was a girl and became one."
"He'll be a guy if we go *cluck* back, right?" Matt worried.
"Er, hopefully..." Gatomon said.
Fortunately, it did revert him. Unfortunately for Tai, it became amusing for the rest instead of worrying now they knew it was temporary...
