"Cat's Eye Hypnotism!"

It was one of Gatomon's rarely-used attacks. Purple rings would emit from her eyes, entrancing and putting her target under her control. The trouble was, it was quite easy to resist. Really only good for surprise and when your 'victim' volunteered.

Like today, as TK, Kari, and Davis sat in Kari's home. Not much seemed to be happening in the Digital World and there wasn't much studying to be done for school, so it seemed it was to be just a day of hanging around - and trying to convince a sceptical human that her Digimon partner's trick worked on people.

"I still don't think it works on humans, Gatomon. You've never got it to work on me." Kari repeated.

"Well, that's just what you think, Kari. And I'm showing you that it works on humans!"

Davis was already looking blank-eyed. Gatomon maintained eye contact.

"So... Davis, who is in control of you?"

"...you are, Gatomon."

"Hm, see, Kari?" Gatomon smirked.

Kari sighed.

"Davis, stop playing along. It doesn't work. She's tried it a hundred times on me and she's never got me under once. She didn't manage it on me before, she didn't manage it on TK even if he played along like you, and he "

Gatomon broke off her gaze. Davis stared blankly.

"Okay, Davis, are you hypnotised?"

"Yes." The human replied.

"And will you do anything I ask of you?"

"Yes."

Gatomon grinned and produced a school uniform taken from Kari's closet.

"Then go to the bathroom, put this on and come back with TK!"

Davis stood up, taking the girl's uniform, and walking away

"You've got two of those? Oh, come on, Gatomon. TK will have chickened out of playing along already, and Davis probably won't even go change. They'll have hidden in Tai's room or something."

Gatomon smiled.

"I don't think so. In fact, Kari, are you so sure it doesn't work on you?"

"Like I wouldn't notice you controlling me, Gatomon."

"You didn't. In fact, you barely even realised when I told you to go put on a cat costume with a ballerina skirt."

Kari just laughed.

"Gatomon, you can't possibly make me miss something like that!"

"Well, that's because I told you not to notice..." Gatomon sighed.

"Pfft, you wouldn't be able to make me miss obvious things like that."

At this, the boys returned. And Kari burst out laughing.

"Okay, guys, you were pretty brave in doing it just for a joke, but I know it's just messing around. Gatomon didn't really control you into doing that, did she now?"

"We obeyed Gatomon's command." Both of them said together.

"...Eh, not convinced." Kari dismissed their efforts.

Gatomon sighed.

"Okay, Kari... Be aware of what you're really wearing."

She looked down... and gasped at what she wore.

"So... How about we go out for a walk? All of you aware of what you're wearing?" Gatomon grinned.

Three humans whimpered, even as they obeyed.

"Hurry up now!" The Digimon cackled.
