Idea One
Story Working Title: Unexpected Popularity
Story Classification: Comedy/Shipping
Estimated Story Length: Unknown, Minimum Four Chapters
Summary: Twilight Sparkle is in the unusual position of being more horrified than Rarity at the news Prince Blueblood is to make a state visit to Ponyville. Because the upper-crust oaf went to school with her. It can only get worse. So it does...

Early morning in Ponyville once more saw Spike awake before Twilight Sparkle. Which meant that he was handing over the mail in the morning that had been delivered by the postal service and not magic.

"Alright, Spike, what have we got in the mail?" Twilight asked.

"Okay, let's see... My magazine, invoice for those books, letter from the Dukedom of Albrayon... Wait. Letter from the Dukedom of Albrayon?"

"The Dukedom of Albrayon? What is it?"

"It's the country that's part of Equestria that Ponyville is within the borders of that officially has a devolved royal family IE the Duke of Albrayon but that's not important right now."

"No, I meant give me the letter, Spike."

"Wait, don't you get it?" Spike frowned.

"...Get what? I don't... Ugh, just give me the letter and stop goofing around."

Horn glowing, the envelope floated over and opened. Twilight read the letter whilst also levitating a slice of toast towards her face.

Her eyes widened, and the toast flew out the window. The letter trembled in her magic as she began shaking.

"W...Wh...Why would they..."

"What? What is it?"

"The Du... The Duke..."

"The Duke... Oh no! The Duke wants to close the library down!"

Twilight stopped shaking for a moment and picked up a second slice of toast.

"No, Spike, all public libraries in Equestria are officially run by Princess Celestia herself. Uh, where was I?"

"You were stuttering and trembling and saying something about the Duke."

"Oh, yeah, thanks."

She began trembling again, the other slice following where its kin had gone before. The birds outside were certain this was their lucky day, oblivious to the approaching form of Opalescence behind them.

"The Duke is... The Duke is..."

She gulped, as birds cried out in horror outside.

"The Duke is sending his son to Ponyville on an official visit!"

Spike gasped. Outside, a cat screeched in anguish as something stopped it in its tracks.

"Oh no! Wait, who's his son?"

Twilight however was lost to him having adopted a thousand yard stare. Luckily, Rarity was outside the window, levitating an irate cat, and had overheard.

"Oh, that's easy, Spike, the Duke's son is Prince Blueblood."

She realised what she had just said.

"...And the great big idiot is coming here!" Twilight suddenly said.

Both unicorns swore loudly.

Spike blinked.

"Oh. Him."

"Yes. Him. Oh, good morning, by the way. Anyway, I need to go retrain Opal to be an attack kitty. Bye..." Rarity said, fuming a little, even as her cat grinned at the prospect of being encouraged to maim somepony for once.

Spike blinked again.

"Wait, why does Rarity hate him?"

Idea Two
Story Working Title: Ace Blueblood
Story Classification: Normal - Comedy, Semi-Crossover [concepts from Red Dwarf]
Estimated Story Length: Unknown
Summary: Dashing. Suave. Sophisticated. Cultured. A Gentleman. What a Guy. But when he finds that yet another parallel version of himself is a total narwhal, he decides it's time the multiverse had another Ace. And not a tennis player.

Two ponies and one alligator sat in a bunker. One pink, one blue, and one an alligator. Numerous guards in black leather and gas masks stood around them. One guard was not in leather but latex, and hoped nopony had noticed.

"Where is the girl?"

"In five minutes, she will be facing a firing squad, with a live uplink to Cloudsdale showing every moment of her squirming and... stuff."

The pink pony stroked the alligator gleefully and cackled.

"No one can stop us now!"

"No, General Pie!"

"In moments, The Pegasus King will surrender the codes to get past the shields on the sky-city to us rather than see his beloved daughter executed!"

"Yes, General Pie!"

"And once the Empire of Cupcakes finally conquers all of Equestria with the capitulation of your wayward pegasus kin, Commander Dash, we shall then conquer... Prance! And after sampling some Prench food and culture as well as having a nice honeymoon in Hayris, we will conquer somewhere else! And eventually, the WORLD! Well, except Caneighda, it's too cold there. And I guess the griffins can form a rump state in Aclawska."

"Hehehe, griffin rump. Wait. Honeymoon? But we went to the Zebralands for that...."

"A second honeymoon! With more toys!"

"Ohhhh... I get it."

The alligator growled, and the two ponies sighed as a white unicorn in a silver jumpsuit entered the bunker.

"Ace Blueblood. How did you escape my certain death trap?" The pink one scowled.

"Easy, Pinkie. I just spoke to the sharks in their native tongue, and after that it was foal's play to have them untie me and remove the magic binder you put on my horn, then I jumped out, threw in some of your guards, stole a bayonet from them, and then stabbed the sunlight out of anypony in jackhooves I ran into. Sadly the bayonet's a bit blunt by now and there's some nasty stains on your walls, but rest assured, there's not a drop of blood on my suit. Oh, and I will save Princess Hooves, stop your balefire missiles from launching when the Pegasus King doesn't surrender, and then, have some apple fritters."

"Drat. I should not explain all my plans to my mortal enemies. It was almost my downfall when I conquered the ground until I managed to hide Gummy here in the bathtub of Agent Sparkle. She was delicious, wasn't she, Gummy? Well seasoned with all that delightful secret information she was going to share with the resistance. Almost as nicely seasoned as you, Blueblood."

She cackled.

"Guards, attack Blueblood one by one, and then when he is... tenderised... feed Gummy. But for now, me and my love have a princess to execute."

One guard made to attack, only for Ace Blueblood to lash out in a white blur for ten seconds. There was quite a bit of screaming, until the blur stopped and a pile of black-leather wearing ponies (and one in latex) lay groaning in pain.

"Ten seconds flat. You need better minions, Pinkie." Blueblood smirked.

"Perhaps, but I have a twitchy tail, Mister Blueblood..."

At this, the alligator dropped onto him from the ceiling, and he wrestled with it. Pinkie and Dash smirked, walking past the fight.

"Love to stay and watch the fight, but I'm sure you'll have a blast without me." Pinkie cackled as she threw a lit bundle of dynamite down.

"Uh, won't that blow up Gummy?"

"...Alligators can be replaced."

Idea Three
Story Working Title: The Misconceptions Of Pinke Pie
Story Classification: Comedy with some Drama
Estimated Story Length: Approx One Chapter
Summary: Pinkie Pie knows things. She knows more than you think. Sometimes she knows too much, or the wrong things. But it's just Pinkie being Pinkie.

My name is Pinkie Pie.  Pinkamena Diane Pie for my full name. And no, that's not an alter ego's name, that's my full birth name and nothing more. Not for this me, at least.

Wait, that's a strange thing to really start with, huh? "Not for this me".  Sounds like... Aw, hay, I'll just say Shakespeare. I forget which of the dozens of lame puns fits enough for you to all get it. But it does sound a little Shakespearean, a phrase like that, right? Right?

Anyway, uh, I should probably stop rambling on. I lose track of things easily sometimes. It's not ADD, ADHD, or anything like that. It's something... Complicatedly simple.

Everypony thinks I'm cheerful all the time. Well, you all know that's wrong. I know you know. In fact I know things I shouldn't know. I know things that aren't true. I know a lot more than you humans think.

I know almost everything. I can see pasts, presents, futures. I see so much and so little.

For a start I know you're there. I know your species is insane. Some of you build such wonderful things, create art and enjoyment and fun, you push the boundaries and always bounce back. And some of you destroy. Some of you are greedy. Some of you want everything.

And at the same time some of you always fight against that. I sometimes look at ponies and I worry we're too simple. Order and Disorder, Harmony and Discord. You need balance. Perfect harmony is just dull peace and stagnation. Perfect chaos is constant strife and stagnation.

I can't tell you everything. I don't know if it's true in this time and place, or if it ever will be here. If I told Twilight even half of how to explain this it'd make her brain hurt and she's the smartest pony in existence.

That's a fact.

What I can tell you is I know all about the different versions of me out there. I know that nearly all of them know everything I know. There's one version of me that doesn't, and... Well, she's happy, but I feel sad she's the only one who doesn't know that I know of. But as for me,myself and I, well...

Okay, you know Transformers? I'm what you'd call a sort of multiversal singularity.  I have a single identity and perception that spans everything. If you don't know Transformers, it's cool, it's word of god stuff that's never appeared in the actual fiction. It's also as consistent as...

...Well, me. It's shaped like itself. I'm not exactly sure this is the right term, trust fate to go and make that be one of the things I don't know.

The bottom line is I know what, to my knowledge, every alternative version of me out there knows and so do they. From colt versions, pegasus versions, unicorn versions, all the myriad me and mine.

And because I see so much I can't see anything. I might as well call myself normal on a linear timeline but the trouble is, I don't see linear. I see branches. Sometimes Pinkie Sense lets me know things, but it's not as consistent as it could be.

And sometimes what I see leaves me confused. Everypony just says it's me being me. And in a way, it is.

Like when I woke up one morning screaming about a dream I never had, because another me had it. When I woke up thinking I was married for a few minutes until I realised the truth. When I suddenly found myself talking in a different conversation to the one I was in and made everypony wonder something about Oatmeal, and I don't even know what it was myself.

It's me being another me. I'm still this Pinkamena Diane Pie. It's just I remember the wrong things sometimes. I make misconceptions. They're usually little and I remember the real truth right after, never to make the mistake again, but sometimes they're big. They keep popping up.

I try to write them down if they keep happening. And I'm going to share some with you.

But before I do, I'll try to explain a little about where they come from. These ones, I usually know about them quite well. I know how common these events are or aren't in other universes usually. Sometimes it's actually really common but I only learned about it recently.

I'll try not to be confusing if I can. Even if sometimes I seem confused myself.

Idea Four
Story Working Title: Silent Screams Forever
Story Classification: Drama
Estimated Story Length: Unknown, at least two chapters
Summary: So, Fluttershy saved the day. The Cockatrice reverted Twilight and Elizibeak. Everything is fine now, right? There's a reason petrified has two definitions...

'Wow, I spent more time talking to Zecora than I thought. It'll be nearly sundown by the time I'm back in town...' Twilight thought to herself.

There's something wrong here.

She moved down the path without much concern. The Everfree wildlife was nocturnal or lived deep in the forests. She'd make it back to Ponyville before dark, and even if she didn't she'd be out of the forest in time anyway.

This has happened before. You know this has happened before.

Suddenly there was a rustling in the bushes. Twilight paused for a second.

'Probably just a fox or a bird or something. There's nothing dangerous this close to the edge of the forest usually... Just in case though...'

Her horn glowed as she kept herself ready to use some magic. A quick flash of it would scare off most things, or blind them so she could just run.  Easy as pie.

No! No magic in the horn! That's a mistake! That keeps you aware!

The bushes rustled again. And out popped a white head of a bird.

"A chicken?" Twilight said in confusion.

It's not a chicken you idiot, run!

A sudden sensation of deja-vu. Memories of terror. Of seeing this before. Knowing it for night after night and here once more.

The cockatrice reared up.

There is confusion and fear from the watching mind. Sharing those memories of not knowing what was about to happen with the added horror of hindsight right there and then as the eyes seem to glow even brighter red.

"What the..." She manages to say before realising what's happening.

Realising what it is, what it does, why her rear body feels so cold and stiff, and why her horn glowing right now is a bad idea.

Magic is part of the mind. As long as the horn holds magic, she'll be awake.

And she's about to be turned to stone. Which is supposed to knock you out because otherwise you're aware of it all. The spells to cure it work by waking the victim up.

You can't be woken if you're already awake, can you?

And once again you're standing here made of rock, a terrified expression etched on your face and like every time since it really happened you know what happens next. Nopony is coming for you. You're here forever now.

It doesn't matter this isn't real. Dream or no dream you'll wake up screaming any time...
now.

She blinked awake, trying to to fight the terror gripping her. Trying to obey the thought her brain was sending out to her body.

'Don't scream it's just a nightmare you're fine don't scream it's just a nightmare you're fine don'tscreamdon'tscream...'

Spike leapt up from his bed in surprise, startled by a loud wail of horror that was sadly all too familiar the past few weeks.

"Twilight? Twilight, it's okay! Calm down!" He shouted, racing to her even as the echo of the scream faded to her sobbing once again.

Just like every night since.

August 2012, Calendar of Equestria (CE)
Third Year of the Second Age of Celestia and Luna's Twin Rule

In Ponyville's library, something unusual was happening.  A griffin was there.

"Not that I'm ungrateful for the chance, but I'm curious as to why you'd be trusting me with this, Gilda. It does seem pretty important."

"Dash trusts you. That means I trust you. Besides, you're Celestia's personal protege. You can hear me out, and if you believe me maybe she will too. But either way we need someone to hear this. They say history is written by the victor. Sometimes that means history is full of liars. Maybe if we write it down first it makes sure that we can claim at least one win."

Twilight nodded, but still had some reservations.

"But, some of the stuff that's been happening... The kind of stuff you've mentioned already, I mean... This is on the level of saving the world stuff!"

Gilda chuckled.

"Oh, come on, Element of Magic. Saving the world stuff? Thought that was your thing."

"Um, not really, my thing is more reading and researching. And I guess writing as well since Spike's out."

"Out chasing lady dragons, or does he still crush on that fashion pony?"

"Out with a lady dragon, actually, and the Rarity thing is just a joke these days. "

"That's cool. How's she doing, by the way?"

"Well, she... Wait, we're getting side tracked. I don't think we should discuss anything about life in Ponyville if we're going to write this thing down like you want."

"Oh, right. I guess we're going to be derailed a lot the way I think. Anyway, uh... Where do you think we should begin?" Gilda returned to the subject.

"From what I can tell it all really began with the attack on New Yoke, didn't it?" Twilight offered.

"Well, yeah."

Gilda was contemplative for a moment.

"You know, if they hadn't attacked... I'd probably have just served my minimum two years. Put it on the CV. 'Two years, Griffin Defence Initiative, Private, Fifth Minigunners' and that would be it. I'd have come here on leave some day without PTSD making me a pain in the ass and pissing off everypony trying to be cool..."

She paused to shake her head, dismissing the memories of her first visit to Ponyville three years and a lifetime ago.

"I'd have been out by now. I'd be getting work as a courier or a cop or something. I'd always wanted to be a cop when I was a little chick. I just thought the idea of chasing bad guys was cool you know?"

"So you only joined up to try and help you get into your dream job easier? Sounds like why Dash joined Weather and Rescue."

Gilda shrugged.

"I guess. But now I'm pretty much trapped. I don't imagine there's going to be a good outcome for me when I find him even if I get what I want."

"Um.... No. Look, Gilda, are you sure you really want that? And are you sure you should have told me?"

Gilda stared.

"Yes. You Pinkie Pie promised it'd only ever go out in the book. And I Pinkie Pie promised I'd rip his throat out with my bare claws. Neither of us break promises to friends, Twilight. And I promised my friends I'd get him back."

"For revenge..." Twilight said with a disapproving tone.

Few ponies understood the concepts of revenge. Few Equestrian ponies, at least.

"You knew it was revenge, Twilight. And I'm going to tell you why it's worth it. Why he's still dangerous..."

"And why you think he deserves to die?"

Gilda nodded in agreement.

"New Yoke was when it began. Sure, GDI had been peacekeepers between the Sphinx Kingdom and The Empire for a decade since the last war, but we hoped the Noddies would just give it up back then. But we forgot that if you want to corner a scorpion you make sure it has no escape. They'd sting themselves to death eventually. Instead they had an opening and stung us."

Idea Six
Story Working Title: Command and Canter: Red Alert
Story Classification:  Drama, Action, Crossover [Concepts: Command and Conquer Red Alert]
Estimated Story Length: Unknown, Long.
Summary: A brilliant scientist tries to prevent the rise of Nightmare Moon a thousand years ago, by travelling back to kill her host. In this timeline it fails. In the other, however...

June 1946, Calendar of Equestria (CE)
Nine Hundred and Eighty Sixth Year of the Age of Celestia's Solitary Reign

The pony walking the halls of Canterlot Castle this evening held his head high with pride. His experiment had worked, and in his own humble opinion, he had saved Equestria from doom in sixty four years. A fine gift for his newborn grandson.

And now he was to receive the reward of a hero, a personal audience with Her Majesty, Princess Celestia.

"I presume you know the standard protocol, Sir Adelbert?" A grey unicorn guard asked.

"Of course, Sergeant. Of course. Head bowed, speak when spoken to."

He did exactly this as the doors were opened. He neared the throne and awaited his greeting.

"Good evening, Sir Adelbert."

"Your Majesty."

"Sir Adelbert. You said you had made a great discovery that would allow you to save Equestria from an ancient menace in your letters. I must confess the claim alone has me sceptical."

"Indeed, and if I may be so bold, it is a wise choice, but utimately mistaken. For what I say is true, and I have the data to prove it. I have created a working time machine!"

Silence fell.

"You're kidding."

"I am not, Your Majesty."

"You're kidding, right?" Celestia repeated.

Adelbert shook his head.

"Then... What menace did you save Equestria from?"

"Why, Nightmare Moon of course!"

Celestia's eyes narrowed.

"I think, perhaps, you are mistaken. I would be the first to know who defeated Nightmare Moon."

"Oh, I did not defeat Nightmare Moon, Your Majesty. This was Your Majesty. No,  I merely ensured she never came to be. "

Celestia seemed to brighten up for a moment before her eyes narrowed once more.

"And how was this done, Sir Adelbert?"

"I assassinated her host."

Silence fell once more.

"You did what?"

"I assassinated her host." He repeated.

Foolishly.

A second later he found himself held in the most powerful magic in the world as it slammed him off the roof and floors.

"YOU. DID. WHAT?! WHAT DID YOU DO YOU BLOODY FOOL?!"

This should have killed him. But Celestia was a kind ruler. She was healing him as she slammed him up and down.

Sometimes, it's cruel to be kind.

She stopped eventually, and holding Sir Adelbert in the air, she brought his terrified face up to hers.

"Sir Adelbert, you are coming with me. And for your sake I had better be right or I pledge I am leaving you where we are going!"
