Rouge the Bat screeched vainly as she pounded the steel walls of the box she found herself trapped in.

"This is insane! What kind of trap is this?!" She shouted as the box filled with cold grey gas.

Somehow she had a feeling it wasn't going to be laughing gas. It was freezing, so cold her feet and legs were feeling cramped...

"Let me out! I know you're out there!"

There was no reply.

"Okay... Ugh, can't move my feet..." She groaned, looking down.

She blinked.

She kept looking at her grey feet.

"...Why are my feet grey?"

She reached down and tapped her boot. There was a hollow sound of flesh on stone.

Then stone on stone. Her hand felt cold.

"W-what?! It... it's turning me to stone?!" She yelled, having pulled her hand out of the grey gas to see her fist was solid rock.

"...Why would anyone build a trap like this?!"

The level of gas rose and rose. More and more of her black bodysuit turned grey and her skin rigid below it.

"Maybe it's just a capture pit. I get frozen in stone, turned back in a prison cell! That's it!" She grinned.

She was unaware the gas had a slight narcotic effect as it began to affect too much of a victim.

It didn't mean too much. She just wound up feeling so happy she smiled even as the gas lapped at her chin...

Outside the box, two men approached, a Fox and a Squirrel.

"So, let me get this straight. We built a bunch of tunnels out of foam and plywood, leading into a hole in the ground, which dropped her into this... and she fell for it?" The Squirrel asked.

"Yes. And let's face it, if someone is going to fall into the Towelrack-O-Matic Petrification Box and turn themselves into the Towel Rack that was ordered by our client, is it really such a bad thing they did that?" The Fox said.

"I see." The squirrel said.

There was a brief pause before he continued.

"What an idiot."
