You hold the potion in your hands, approaching the statue. She is just one of ten, and of them you have decided she is to be the one decimated from the statues and returned to the living. She is Hikari Kamiya. She stands with pale marble skin, her eyes open wide and mouth agape, shouting a warning or screaming. It's hard for you to tell. She has been petrified standing as if about to try and run, but she was too late.

Her pink shirt and khaki shorts contrast oddly with the alabaster stone she has become. The same applies to the others here. But you wish to save her. And so, you pour it on her head. It flows down, making her shirt wet for a few seconds before it quickly evaporates, leaving no trace. For a second you fear it was a fake. And then the pale stone seems to gently glow.

First the stone turns a little darker, and then brighter. The white begins to gain some red, turning into a pink that still seems somewhat grey. But her hair changes too, the white now tinted faintly brown. The orbs of stone that are her eyes change, staying white, but there is now a hint of the hazel irises back.

Slowly, the pale white becomes pinkish flesh, brown hair, and hazel eyes, but she still stands in her pose. Then there is a twitch. Her eyelid moves, then she blinks.

And then she finds herself finishing her last word before she petrified.

"...keru! Look... out..." She says, blinking stiffly, and then sneezes.

"Agh... What happened... Did it get me?" She asks, and then notices you.

"...Oh. Did you save me?"

You nod, and think she'll be very pleased you rescued her. But she gasps and rushes past you. She stands in front of Takeru. He looks angry in stone.

"...He must have got hit after me. I remember he was beside me..."

She looks upset for a second then she smiles.

"But whatever you did to save me... Come on, we'll start with him then and turn everyone else back."

You pause nervously. How do you tell her there was only one potion? You decide to be blunt. Her smile drops and she is horrified. She looks at the other eight, then back to Takeru.

Then she looks at another statue.

And then she slaps you around the back of your head.

"You idiot! Dagger is a White Mage! She could have used Stona on us all!"

"Wait... Come on, that's not fair!" You protest as Kari smirks at how you're rubbing your head. It wasn't that hard a dope slap but it was still unexpected.

"Yep, it is, Davis. You left me a statue when you could have saved everybody. Personally if you'd turned me back and left Kari there I'd have been pretty peeved too." Takeru shrugged.

"Hey, can I hit him? He left me petrified too..." Rika asks, and you're nervous. The tamer from another dimension has got annoyed at you before in the few weeks since you met her, and she's not quite as likely to pull her punches.

"And me." Takato asks.

"No. No one gets to hit him again. He was trying to be chivalrous and save the girl like a good hero..."  Yolei notes.

"Yeah, an idiot hero." Hikari says far too sweetly.

"I've never even played Final Fantasy Nine, how should I even know who Dagger is?" You grumble.

You really don't like this game Hikari invented. You're convinced she and the other two girls are using it as an excuse to attack the boys. Takato's little catch 22 scenario ended painfully for him, and now it's Takeru's turn.

"Okay. Rika, you think of one for TK now." Yolei invited.

"Hmm... Okay, same scenario, but replace you with Davis, and all the Final Fantasy characters with... Your Digimon. Your partner included. Oh, and it's not a potion. You have to take someone's place instead..."

"Patamon. He'd Digivolve to MagnaAngemon and turn us all back."

You sigh as the girls all nod approvingly. Takato looks shocked too.

"This is discrimination against goggles." You say to him. He agrees.

The girls hit you both.
