Fanfiction For: Final Fantasy 8
"I'm not convinced." Squall said, frowning.
"Well, we've done this kind of thing before. We've put SeeD agents into contests like that and the judges there all kept the scores rigged to ensure our agents never won." Selphie argued.
"Yes, but those were largely beauty contests, and they were to help prevent known threats. What you're suggesting..."
"Isn't much different. There's a known threat, and I'm sure I can do it."
Squall paused.
"Selphie, I don't doubt you can. The trouble is, this isn't like entering you into some pageant and telling them not to vote for you, there are still risks with this."
Rinoa spoke up.
"Squall, we've done the testing before..."
"And like I said then I wasn't convinced. Can Selphie really act like a dog long enough?" The Commander of SeeD demanded.
"Well, some of the students I was training last week said I could be a real..."
"Not what I meant." Squall cut her off.
"We have a month. I can train up. We can have me work with someone or have Rinoa as my owner at the actual show, but I can do this."
Squall sighed.
"Fine. But this is on your own back when people start joking about you entering a dog show. Especially those students..."
Selphie merely grinned.
"While I'm a dog I'm going to bite them."
Squall stared, and then smirked.
"Of course, if you are going to be an entrant... there are some rules. Certain shots. And if you're representing SeeD as a contestant you'll need to look the part. Basically, if you and Rinoa, and probably Doctor Kadowaki, can get some more convincing argument on my desk covering all the little problems that are in this idea and how you'll fix them, and giving me a real plan, I'll approve. Otherwise it's just human guards in human form."
"Thanks, Squall! You won't regret this, I promise!"
Squall still smirked.
"Oh, I won't. You might. After all, we have the contract because there's been a spate of dognappings at these shows..."
Selphie paused.
"...Rinoa, when we figure out what I look like, don't make me too stealable."

Title: Smash Hit
Fanfiction For: Final Fantasy 9
Catching her target: Good.
Smashing a valuable statue in the process: Bad
Hare-brained scheme to replace the statue to pay off the debt while it was getting fixed: Worse.
"Can't I just guard the museum for a few hundred years or something? I hate being petrified." Freya said.
The museum manager shook her head.
"Sorry, Lady Freya, but the owner was most insistent something be done to replace the piece. We have a major exhibition next week, with many visitors from outside of Burmecia, and the statue you damaged was a valuable example of Cleyran culture. The Cleyran refugees would be upset to learn it was damaged... Especially since it was one of many gifted to the people of Burmecia and not those gifted to the Palace."
Freya sighed.
"Okay, fine. But do I have to replicate it exactly?"
"I'm afraid so."
"Great. Seventy statues in the wing and I go and smash the only one from Cleyra... I really doubt my idea was so impossible." Freya grouched.
"The labour laws are clear, Lady Freya, it would be illegal to hire a model to pose as the statue for the duration of repair work." The Museum Manager noted.
"But they still allow me to be stuck up there for four weeks in the fur and for all to gawk at..."
"You are a soldier, ma'am. The normal labour laws do not apply to the military."
The door opened, and a somewhat alarmed looking Museum Owner entered. He was a short brown-furred fat Nezumi like all Burmecians, three rarities in one. Most of the race of humanoid rodents were white furred, tall, and thin. It made a kind of sense that as a rare kind of person, he collected rare art.
"Lady Freya... I apologise for this and I had no idea, but... I'm afraid it will not be four weeks you will replace the damaged statue for."
Freya sighed.
"Okay. So it's a little longer. I guess I save money on eating for a while... So, how long?"
The Owner stammered for a second, then spoke almost as a whisper.
But Freya still heard.
"Four.... Months?!"
"Further damage was found... It seems that we had not known it had been damaged and repaired before. We cannot risk Cleyra being offended that we had covered up damage in the past..."
"So we're covering it up again and I have to be stuck on a pedestal for four months?!"
The Owner meekly nodded.
"I am afraid so..."
Freya blinked, and spoke to The Owner.
"Sir, when I'm no longer a statue, remember my name. It'll be synonymous with 'Regicide' because when this is done I am going to murder the King, and I am going to make it painful."

Title: Out of Place
Fanfiction For: Naruto
Kakashi had one question for his student who was lying against the Memorial Stone, currently asleep but not for very long.
"What are you doing here?"
Sasuke blinked awake, stared at his sensei, looked at the surroundings around him, then suddenly looked down wide-eyed, then sighed with relief.
"Well, I'm not tied up or naked, so I know I'm not here because of Naruto..."
"I see. And has Naruto been playing pranks like this often?"
"No, he's just been threatening it. Last time he said he'd try to get Itachi to help."
Sasuke noticed that the jonin's eyes narrowed.
"...He would get who to help?"
"Itachi? My brother? The jonin? Long black hair, small army of fangirls?"
Kakashi frowned.
"Sasuke, how old are you?"
"Thirteen. Why?"
"So you don't have some form of amnesia and think you are eight?"
Now it was Sasuke's turn to frown in confusion
"Uh, Sensei, I'm not understanding. Is something wrong?"
"What happened when you were eight?" Kakashi demanded.
"Naruto fell out of a tree and I activated my Sharingan."
"...What?"
"Come on, Sensei, you were there five seconds after it. You know what happened. You weren't running around screaming your head off like I was..."
Kakashi stared at his student, then spoke with a level voice.
"Sasuke, I mean the massacre. I don't remember any instance of Naruto falling from a tree, at least, not where you were ever involved. I also had no knowledge you had awakened your Sharingan."
Sasuke stared now.
"...Sensei, how can you not remember it? Uncle Obito laughed so hard his glass eye fell out."
Kakashi froze.
"...Uncle who?"
"Hey, wait, what massacre? And you were training me with your own Sharingan yesterday!"
The pair stared at each other
"Sasuke... I think we're going to have to do a lot of explaining here, but first I think we might have to go and see the Hokage."
"Uh, why?"
"I have a question of my own to answer that one, 'Sasuke'. How did you know I had a Sharingan?" Kakashi asked.
He had hoped that the suspected spy disguised as his student would panic at this, if only to allow Kakashi a good reason to knock him out. He had not expected the next words.
"The whole clan knows Obito gave his left eye to you when you had yours cut out and his optic nerves were damaged when you two were tortured... It was repayment for saving his life."
Kakashi blinked in surprise.
"Obito was crushed to death. His name is on the stone behind you."
Sasuke blinked, turned around, and saw the name.
"...But he was taking his own team out on a C-Rank tomorrow. That doesn't make any sense. And... That person isn't dead. Neither is he... "
He kept reading, and then turned pale as he must have reached a certain spot with many identical last names. Sasuke growled suddenly, spinning around with a Kunai in his hands. Kakashi did not draw his own, but remained wary as he spotted that his student indeed did have the Sharingan after all.
And then Sasuke looked very worried.
"...This isn't a Genjutsu, is it? What's going on?!"
"Sasuke, what name did you see there that alarmed you?"
"Everyone! The whole clan except for me and Itachi!"
Kakashi nodded.
"That seems right. Itachi did kill the whole clan five years ago..."
Sasuke blinked, said one word:
"...What?"
And then fainted.
"...Maybe I should have broken that one a little more gently." Kakashi muttered, picking up the suspicious Sasuke and heading for the Hokage's tower.
Still, at least he hadn't had to knock him out by himself.

Title: Flipped Over
Fanfiction For: Digimon Tamers/Digimon Adventure AU
Takato groaned.
'Ow... What happened... I was attacked, wasn't I. Guilmon? Is he okay?'
"Uh, hi." A girl's voice said.
Takato blinked his eyes open. A girl in a blue shirt, with long brown hair, wearing a pair of goggles on her head, stared down.
"...Hi?" Takato squeaked back, blaming it on the fact he was a little concussed, a little surprised, and not the fact the girl was kind of pretty... But something seemed off about that as well. Like he knew she was pretty but it was like there wasn't any reason that a girl being pretty would make him flustered...
"So, who are you?" The girl asked
"Who are you?" Takato countered.
'Well, Takato, you win the original retort sweepstakes. Let's see what you've won!'
The girl giggled.
'Yep, a girl thinking you're an idiot.'
"Why should I go first?"
"L...ladies first?" Takato squeaked.
'This would go a lot better if I didn't sound like a chipmunk in a room full of helium...' Takato noted.
The girl laughed again.
"Oh, and I guess you're not a lady?"
Takato sat up
"What? Of course not, I'm a..."
His hair fell in front of his face.
He then noticed it was much longer.
"Girl? Yeah, it's kind of obvious really. Or are you a girly boy?"
Takato reached a hand to check.
She whimpered.
"...B-But..."
The girl laughed again.
"No, that's around the other side. You're kinda funny. I guess I'll tell you my name first after all. I'm Taira Yagami. And you are?"
Takato shook his.. her... head.
"T... Takato Matsuda..."
"Takato? Don't you mean Takako? Takato is a boys name."
"I... I know this is going to sound crazy but I am a boy."
Taira shook her head.
"Not right now you're not. Either that or you need to lose a little weight like my dad..." She said, poking Takato...Takako... Whatever he or she was called now... In the chest.
The yelp was definitely feminine.
"D-Don't do that!"
"Ah, lighten up, Takako. Your Digimon is waking up, so I guess you two can come meet the others..."
"...Digimon? Guilmon's here?"
"...Takatomon? Why is your hair long?" Guilmon asked as he walked over.
An orange dinosaur was beside him (Because it was only fair she had to wake up as a freaking girl and Guilmon stayed male... Digimon didn't even really have genders!) and Taka...ko, stared.
"An Agumon?!"
"You know what she is? Cool! You need to come see everyone else. We'll be really glad to have eight of us!"
Taira yanked Takako away so fast, the two Digimon had to run to keep up.

Title: Cousin Sakura
Fanfiction For: Digmon Adventure/Card Captor Sakura
"It says 'I will be coming home at nine' so my dad will be late. And... Eh? Your mother just said 'settling into office'?"
Takeru nodded as he sat down.
"Yeah, she likes to get herself set up properly so she usually spends most of the day. That was why she had me finish up the stuff with the principal while you had practice. "
"Ah, okay. I guess she doesn't like leaving you by yourself? My dad's the same." Sakura explained to her second cousin.
"Pretty much."
Sakura looked at the whiteboard for a few more seconds.
"Well, Touya will be annoyed if we eat without him so I think I'll just have some of the pudding. Do you want some?"
Takeru declined. Sakura went over to the fridge, but paused.
"Did you hear that, Takeru?"
The blond boy shook his head.
"No. What was it?"
"It sounded like... "
She heard it clearly now. A noise from the basement.
"Takeru! I think there's someone in the basement!"
He blnked.
"I still don't hear anything but I'll go check..." He said, standing up, and heading for the basement door.
"Wait! Take this!" Sakura hissed, handing him her baton.
Takeru blinked again.
"All right, it won't hurt, I guess..." He said, meaning it literally. He didn't imagine it would do much even if there was a burglar.
Takeru went down the steps, Sakura nervously behind him.
"If... If there is someone we just run and lock the door behind us and call the police okay?" Sakura fretted.
"Yeah, fine by me... What's down here anyway?"
"My dad keeps some books and has a study here. He moved some of them down from the attic so your mother could have a room there instead..."
"...So that's why it's such a mess? Maybe it was just a shelf creaking you heard?"
Sakura yelped.
"There it was again!"
A quick search, however, revealed nothing but more books.
"Okay, it's empty. I guess it was just a shelf..." Takeru reasoned.
Sakura, however, was investigating a bookshelf.
"What's wrong? Is that shelf cracked?"
She shook her head, pulling out a book.
"No... It's just I saw this book last night in a dream."
Takeru blinked. It was red, had an image of a winged lion on the front, and English lettering on the side.
"Sakura, this is going to sound really weird, but trust me. I think you should put the book down, head back upstairs, and we'll just ask your dad about it... And did you just unlock it?!"
"It did it by itself!" Sakura yelped, then looked back at the book.
"If it did it by itself why are you opening it?" Takeru asked.
"Eh? There are cards inside..."
"Sakura, I think you should..." Takeru tried to say, as his second cousin removed one of the cards.
"...Windy?"
On the bright side, Takeru would later say, he had been very right when he had tried to get her to leave the book alone. Unfortunately, he had been very slow, and so if anything, he was as much to blame as she was.

Title: FF9: A Twist In The Tail Part 2
Fanfiction For: Final Fantasy 9 [Alternate Universe]
Mikoto groaned, and then realised that something was lying on top of her.
She yelped and threw the shape off. Garnet yelped too.
"Oh, damn, uh... Sorry Princess. Didn't mean to have you land on me and I kinda freaked out there..."
Garnet shook her head, half to clear the haze and half to reassure Mikoto.
"It... it isn't a problem. You cushioned my fall, it seems. My apologies for landing on you." Garnet said.
"Yeah, but... You know. It's not proper. It's rude of me to have invaded a lady's personal space..."
Garnet looked up in confusion.
"Considering it was that or my personal space was wider and flatter I think I can tolerate someone being too close. Besides, we are both females..."
Mikoto nodded.
"True, just never let Cinna hear about... Oh crap, the ship!"
Mikoto bolted upright, and climbed a tree so fast Garnet barely saw a blur. A moment later, Mikoto dropped back down.
"The bad news is it crashed about three hundred meters away, but the good news is everyone seems to be off the ship. Very bad news is, it's on fire and some people look injured, so we had better move and help. You have White Magic, yeah?"
"Yes, but... how do you know everyone is okay?"
Mikoto produced a small spyglass.
"This and sheer dumb optimism. Everyone had better be okay. If anyone's dead, Boss will kill them..."
"I see..." Garnet said in reply, standing up and following the blonde.
Garnet and Mikoto made their way to the crash site carefully. Neither was really at home in the woods as such, but both knew that rushing would just result in tripping, or worse, alerting monsters.
"Just great. First we kidnap her, and then... Wait. She was with..."
Cinna panicked as The Boss came out, helping one of the injured.
"Hey, has anyone seen..." He began, but Baku merely pointed as he spoke. Cinna turned to see The Princess and Mikoto approach.
"Blondie! I could kiss you!" Baku grinned as Mikoto saluted.
"Everyone's okay, Boss?"
"Yeah, now you're here, just that knight and that kid missing... "
"Steiner! We must find him and Vivi immediately!" Garnet gasped
She almost ran off into the forest, halted by the blonde.
"Hey, wait! It's dangerous out there and you've no idea where they could be!"
Baku thought for a moment as The Princess was halted, predicting what his underling was about to say.
"Hey, Blondie. Take her and go look, but only take five minutes, then get your butts back here. We'll work the fire, you two go try find them, okay?"
Garnet bowed gratefully.
"Thank you, sir."
"Hey, just not wasting time, in five seconds Blondie would have been going out alone." Baku explained
Mikoto merely smirked.
"Am I that predictable, Boss?"
"Damn straight."
The blonde chuckled.
"I guess so. Stay safe, guys."
"You too, girl." Baku said back.
The two left, and Baku realised.
"...Damn, we left Ruby behind, didn't we. She never got back on board after she distracted those Alexandrian Soldiers..."
"Don't worry, boss, she was in disguise. I'm sure she's fine." Marcus noted.

Title: Brigade 02: The Crossing [AKA Haruh/Digimon Crossover second part]
Fanfiction For: Haruhi Suzumiya/Digimon Crossover
"Okay, Izzy, we're near the park. Tell me what the problem was exactly?" I said into my phone, glad that he had called me and not the other way around.
"I saw a flash of light in the park, and my laptop went haywire at the same time." Koushiro's voice said from the speaker.
"Which one? The Pineapple or your new Acer?" Kari asked.
"The Pineapple of course."
We both sighed. Kari and I knew what the Pineapple was used for these days. Izzy had rigged it up to monitor the Digital World, and it had helped serve as an early warning system for problems more than once, as well as helping us keep informed about what happened. And if it went haywire, then the flash was something Digital.
And if it was bright enough for Izzy to see, others might have noticed it.
"Patamon, Gatomon, I hope you two are ready..." I muttered.
"Sure, TK. We're ready to rumble." Patamon nodded.
"I'm ready to grumble. I was having a nice dream..." Gatomon frowned.
"The ball of yarn will still be there in dreamworld." Kari joked.
I heard something ahead of us as we entered the park, and had the other three quieten down.
"Hear that?"
"Voices... Into the bushes." Kari agreed.
The four of us took cover, as the voices neared. It soon became clear it was just one voice. There were three people, but only one was talking, only two were walking. The talker carried a girl in his arms, and the other person beside seemed to be very quiet.
"Hey, isn't that Kyon and Yuki?" Kari whispered.
They neared a light, and sure enough, it was them. Nagato and Kyon, but the girl asleep in Kyon's arms, I didn't recognise. Cute, though, but no one I knew.
"Who's the other girl?" Patamon pondered.
"No idea. But she can't be hurt, Kyon would be rushing a little if a Digimon injured her." Gatomon reasoned.
"We can ask him later, but for now it's good he's heading away. We do not want Haruhi knowing about any Digimon that came through... If one did come through at all." Kari noted.
"What if the girl came through?" Patamon asked.
I thought this through.
"I don't think that's too likely. Unless she's a slider or something and the whole haywire laptop thing is a coincidence." Izzy said, via my phone.
"Agreed. I think we've still got a wild Digimon to track. I doubt the Digital World would be spitting out cute girls."
I had no idea how much of a mistake that joke was at the time, but the first clue was that a moment later Izzy demanded to know how cute, and as a result, Kari was not happy with me given that he would not stop asking until we finally found what we were looking for.
And at that point, I found that the mistake was doubled.
In fairness, though, only one of them was a girl. Though Kari did find the guy cute, so that might be worth noting...

Title: Vae Victis
Fanfiction For: Final Fantasy 8
The cell door opened, but the occupant did not even stir as the Sorceress entered.
"I wonder, little girl. What will you say to me this time? What words will you kurse me with?"
Ultimecia regarded the last survivor of the group of six. She lay there, covered in dirt and blood, chained to the petrified forms of two of the others. With a wave of her hand, the statues of Zell and Irvine vanished, and the downtrodden girl simply sat in place even as her hands were freed from the shackles.
"Ah, your resistance has kracked once again..." She noted.
The girl glared up, with dry eyes, that had long since lost the capacity for tears.
"Just do it. We lost. You killed everyone and you just keep torturing me. Just kill me too." Rinoa practically begged.
Ultimecia laughed.
"Killed? Why, Rinoa! Nothing so krass! Your friends are immortal..."
"You petrified them, you won't turn them back, and you made it so my magic and items wouldn't work. They're as good as dead."
"And so you wish to join them now? Oh, but Rinoa. We had just begun to know each other..."
Ultimecia snapped her fingers. Selphie arrived. She was still petrified, and still on all fours with her hands chained together. Still with the scream for mercy locked on her face.
And still Ultimecia's favourite seat. The victorious Sorceress straddled over Selphie's back, resting her hands on her head.
"Well, you had begun to know me. I know you very well. And I think it is time to let you know a little sekret..."
She snapped her fingers.
Four more shapes arrived. All in a similar pose to Selphie. All of them stone.
All of them, her friends.
"But... How? How is that even possible? Zell and Irvine were.... You shapeshifted them. Or it's a trick."
Ultimecia laughed.
"Oh, little girl! If you had eyes that paid attention you would but see... Kome with me." Ultimecia said, and stood. The five screaming statues vanished, and Ultimecia yanked an unresisting Rinoa to her feet.
"Where are we going?" Rinoa asked, pitifully.
She held hope that whatever mind game this was, that Ultimecia was finally letting her join her friends. She was right.
"I am taking you to show you the truth, Rinoa. Last time... It was Squall I showed this to. You were a comfortable seat in his turn..."
"I don't understand..."
Ultimecia laughed again.
"You do not understand now, but you will..."
Ultimecia snapped her fingers, taking them both to another room. It was empty bar six statues.
All of them, were Quistis. One was serene, one stared in horror, one was running, one was trying to fight, one was begging. And one had seemingly given up, dropping to her knees and accepting her fate.
"I wonder... How will you respond once I am done? This is how the blonde one acted. She made me many wonderful statues..."

Title: Nine
Fanfiction For: Naruto/???? Crossover
"Kyuubi" chuckled.
"In a way, human, the story you heard of the Bijuu creation is... Well, it omits a small fact. Your Sage of the Six Paths did not defeat the Ten-Tailed Beast by himself. He had some assistance. From me, in fact."
"You? But... I thought the beasts were all portions of the chakra..."
"Oh, certainly. One through five were. Six, seven, eight, they had a little extra boost from my... colleagues of sorts, and as for me... Well, I merely latched onto some old Human legends to watch this place. The others had their own little minions in place, and I enjoy looking over things. A pawn is much more amusing when it has been given a little attention, and that's why I didn't just leave one of my servants. The other gods left mere pawns, wheras I left myself."
"You're not a demon?"
"Kyuubi" smirked again.
"I'm somewhat more than a... demon. Many of your kind see me as unholy, but what truly do you humans with such fleeting lives know? History is miswritten and the past can change just as surely as the present and future. And definitions of your human terms change too. This is fine. Change is my speciality."
"So who are you then, if you're not the Nine-Tails?"
"I am the nine tails, for that being as you knew it was my persona. However, the title I am better known by..."
"Kyuubi" paused.
"...Well, I could tell you. But what fun would that be? I've given you my attention, little pawn. And I can see I have yours. Which is why I have decided to let you know that I am ending your war. The Eight Tails will be displeased for his master's desire for carnage and skulls for his wretched throne means that the dumb ox fails to realise that my war will spill quite a lot more blood. And be a lot more progressive than Madara's little war."
"Your war? How can you start a war? You're sealed in me!"
"You haven't paid attention, Naruto. My vessel is sealed in you. I am not. It was with my aid my vessel was sealed, as it always has been. It has all been forseen, and all has been planned for. In fact, I am technically not here at the moment."
"Where are you then?"
"Kyuubi" smiled.
"I am three hundred of your miles away, and I have just removed Madara's eyes. My gift has served its part in the plan and I have no desire to allow his little war to happen. Not when mine will cause so much change. I cannot allow a wildcard with a focus to have access to them both right now. His focus impedes my goals. And to be honest, I doubt he would be too pleased to actually read what my little message in the Naka shinre really says."
"Wait, what? You removed his eyes? Your gift to him."
"Yes, I gifted his entire clan the Sharingan to work to this, and the Rinnegan he formerly possessed was also a gift of mine. However, I have removed it."
"Prove it!" Naruto demanded.
"Prove I have removed his eyes? Certainly. Just look in your hand in a few moments. And wait until the morning, and count the bodies from the war. "
Kyuubi began to fade.
"Oh, three more things. One, the other two bearers of my gift are mere pawns. They'll work in line with my plan. Madara would not. Two... Take a look in that shrine and see what it really says. And finally, don't worry about what you'll do when you wake up. It was all for the best."
And with that, he awoke.

Title: Strings of Revenge
Fanfiction For: Digimon Adventure 02
"Oh, this is tragic, Takeru, tragic. No begging for mercy, no screams.... When did you get that spine? Is it because your little girlfriend is around to bolster you? I mean, I can see you're afraid, deep down. A little voice, telling you to freak out but you push it down, right?"
Puppetmon cackled, leaping down off Pegasusmon.
"Or maybe this wooden horse I gave you is just that nice a present, hmm? Maybe I should have wrapped it, not you?"
Takeru growled.
"Look, I'm not in a mood for this. Just get on with it. Kill me, turn me into a puppet, whatever you're doing, just do it!" He near-screamed.
The puppet giggled, waving the gun in his hand.
"Oh, this is great! You get angry when you're scared now! Oh, I missed this. But, to let you know. I don't plan to kill you. Not you. Not ever. Oh, accidents might happen..."
As if to prove the point, a shot rang out, blowing a cloud of splinters and a massive hole out of the tree Takeru was tied to. Some splinters peppered the human's face, drawing blood, but Puppetmon was displeased to note he barely flinched.
"...Like that. And oh. My. God, but this brave streak annoys me. I could have blown your head off there and not even... Just... Wow. You're not right, Takeru. Just not right."
Puppetmon fired the gun into the air, then thrust the barrel into the still-bleeding cuts on the side of Takeru's face. He yelped as the hot gun burned his skin.
"Now that's better. See, a little screaming. But, my point. I'm not going to kill you. Know why?"
"You're a sick little bastard and you want me to suffer?"
Puppetmon fired into the air again in celebration.
"Correctamundo! But.... We're quite alike, you know. Wait, no, that's not it. Not it at all, oh no. We're mirrors. You and I. Like... your little voice. It keeps you sane, doesn't it? Mine on the other hand?"
Puppetmon tried to fire again, but was out of bullets. He giggled before reloading and continuing.
"Mine doesn't keep me sane at all. Mine just begs me to stop. I love it and hate at the same time. He makes me pause, makes me think if this is right..."
He looked solemn for a moment, then grinned.
"...He makes me draw it all out. Every word, every sentence, every scream, every single little twitch of fear on a face... It served me so well with that Mimi girl I turned into wood. Did you like her? I did. It was fun. She screamed. Not like you. Oh, she tried not to, but she screamed in the end."
Puppetmon grinned.
"And so will you. I'll make you scream every morning. I'll never let you forget what I do. Every time you look in a mirror... Fitting. You reflect me, but when I'm done you won't reflect yourself. Not really. Just how you failed."
Puppetmon produced strings from his pocket.
"And as for whatever I'm doing... Well, you will be a puppet. Just not for all that long. Just enough time to catch your little girlfriend with you..."
