Satisfied, Phil stood in the hallway of his new apartment with the last box from the moving truck. A promotion forced him to move to Munich, and now Phil found himself in his little kingdom, which had been surprisingly cheap. He put the box on the stack with the others and closed the door. Grinning contentedly, he went to his balcony. The building was on the outskirts of Munich and was rather simple, but it was built on a slope with a fantastic view of the houses and streets below. There was another person living in the same house, right next to him. As he brought in his furniture and boxes, he was able to take a look at the mailbox. "A. Lee" was written on the sign in elegant handwriting. Who was that? He would probably find out. The house was the last on the street, there was a park and some forest between this house and the neighboring house, so it was very quiet and idyllic. Phil went back inside and into the bedroom where he started assembling his dismantled bed. After a good three quarters of an hour was finished, I continued until I had set up my closet, wardrobe and desk. Satisfied with my work, I looked at the clock, it was now 9 p.m. and, for the sake of my neighbor, I didn't want to make any more noise by assembling furniture and started putting my clothes in the closet. I was just finishing the third or fourth box when I heard a car stop in front of the house and shortly afterwards the door of the neighboring apartment open and close again. I quickly decided to get a little gift from the kitchen that I had gotten for my future neighbor the day before. They were oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips that my mother had specially baked for me. I grabbed my key and went out to the neighbor's door and rang the bell. After a moment, a young woman opened the door. She was around 1.60 tall and had short black hair. She looked at me skeptically with her green eyes. "Hey, I'm Phil, I moved into the apartment next door today and wanted to introduce myself." "Ah, I'm so happy, my name is Alice." She said kindly, the skeptical expression gone. She offered me her hand, which I took happily, "Here's a little gift." I said, handing her the box of cookies. "Wow, these look delicious! Are there nuts in them?" She asked happily, accepting the box. "No, they're oatmeal cookies with chocolate chips." I replied and was happy that the gift was so well received. She fished a cookie out of the box and bit into it with relish. "Mhhh… super delicious!" She said, chewing with pleasure and taking another bite. "Enjoy it and be good neighbors. Have a nice evening and we'll definitely see each other again." She just nodded kindly and closed the door as he unlocked his again.

After Phil completed his neighborhood visit, he continued unpacking boxes until he noticed how the move was taking its toll. Yawning, Phil got ready for bed, pulled down the blinds in the bedroom and fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow.

Boom! Boom!

Phil woke up sleepily out of bed. What was that?

Boom! Boom!

He quickly grabbed his cell phone, it was five in the morning. Was someone trying to break down my door? He thought

Boom! Boom!

He picked up the hammer that was lying on the floor next to the bed and had been left behind from the closet assembly.

Boom! Boom!

He slowly crept into the living room and turned towards the hallway. When he got to the front door, he tore it open and...

Nothing! Only a raccoon, which was running across the path to the entrance to the house, looked at him in shock.

Boom! Boom!

I closed the door and tried to locate the noise.

Boom! Boom!

It came from the living room. I slowly went back and turned on the light, there was nothing to see except the chaos of the parade.

Boom! Boom!

Phil looked at the wall that bordered the neighboring apartment, walked towards it and put his ear to it.

“HAAAA YES!” Boom! Boom!

It sounded like Alice was just punching or kicking the wall with full force. Phil put on a pair of trousers, slipped on a pair of shoes and shuffled tiredly outside with the key in his hand and rang Alice's doorbell.

Two more knocks were heard and shortly afterwards Alice opened the door. She was wearing a karate suit and beamed at me in a friendly manner. "Oh, are you always up this early?" She asked kindly. Phil looked at her sleepily, "No, I was still asleep. What are you doing in there?" "I'm training. Did I…did I wake you up?" “Yes you did, why are you training so early in the morning on a Sunday? And what are you training? Karate?"

“I'm an early riser and the old lady who used to live over there didn't mind and yes, I train karate!” “Ok, I think it’s nice "That you have such an impressive hobby, but please postpone your training until 8 a.m. on Sunday, okay?"

Alice furrowed her eyebrows grimly, “Fine!” then she slammed the door.

He sighed, turned around and went back to bed.

It had now been 3 weeks and it wasn't the last time that he had to go to Alice because she had another training session in the middle of the night.

Today Phil was working from home and was making himself a coffee when the familiar sound of kicks against the wall filled his living room. Sighing, he turned on his computer. It's a good thing I have headphones, he thought to himself and put them on and devoted himself to his work. The music from the headphones drowned out the pounding of the footsteps.

After a while, he stood up, put his headphones aside and immediately rolled his eyes.

Alice had still been training for over two hours. Phil tried to ignore it and went into the kitchen to make some coffee. Suddenly there was a loud bang, he jumped and turned towards the door where the noise had come from the living room. Phil picked up his coffee and walked back, but stood dumbfounded in the doorway to the living room. At the height of his head next to the desk, a cloud of dust settled, revealing a foot that looked upwards at an angle and decorated the wall like an abstract picture.

Slowly and seething inside, he went to his desk and placed the coffee on the dust-covered tabletop. Phil took a deep breath and let his anger out. “SAY ARE YOU TOTALLY CRAZY NOW????” He shouted in full rage, looking at the dusty foot. Silence, "I... I'm so sorry Phil! I... I wanted to try something new and I wasn't thinking."

He ran his hand through his face, Alice's voice sounded sincere and she seemed embarrassed. "I'm trying to push you through the wall again, but then you call our landlord and explain it! Got it?" "Yes, yes of course, thank you!" Alice said, sounding relieved. He walked to the wall and looked at the damage. Shaking his head, he grabbed the foot, noticing how small it was and how soft. He I pushed the thought aside,

"On three, 1… 2….3!" He pushed with all his might and managed to push his foot into the wall up to the ankle, but then nothing worked. But once again the foot stayed in place. Why didn't the foot go through the hole? It was..., oh shit. "A wooden beam has come loose and is trapping your foot!" Phil said loudly as he saw the foot move and Alice tugged on it, moaning. "What? Shit, now what?" She sounded desperate. "I'll call a craftsman who has to make the hole bigger and fix the beam. I don't have the necessary tools!" You agree and I looked for a craftsman on the Internet.

After a short explanation and the craftsman's loud laughter, he agreed and promised to be there in an hour.

"So someone's coming in an hour." He said loudly and examined the cute foot that was sticking out of his wall. "Only in an hour? What shit!" Alice escapes behind the wall. Phil walked closer to the foot and took a closer look. The shape was slim and the toes were even and looked really cute, no calluses were visible and I already knew how soft it was from pushing it. Without thinking, he raised his hand and carefully ran it under his toes. You could hear Alice sucking in a startled breath and her toes first spreading and then contracting, creating small wrinkles on the sole. Phil had to smile, the strong little Alice, who was so tough, apparently had a ticklish weak spot. He slowly reached out his hand again and gently scratched her heel, the reaction was unique, Alice giggled in shock and her foot tried to escape the feeling.

"Phil, stop this crap, it's not funny." She scolded, visibly angry. "Oh, I find it quite amusing." Phil said, adding, "How many times have I asked you not to kick the wall?" Silence, only her toes moved nervously. "I think until the nice craftsman gets here, I'll teach you what respect and consideration is." "Phil, please! I... I'll hang everything, I promise I'll never kick the wall again." The desperation was clear in her voice.

"Mhhhh…." He said, running his finger up and down the soft sole. The foot twitched back and forth and the toes also curled. "I think you have to convince me first!" He replied and now ran all five fingers over her unprotected sole. “PHIIIIIL NOT!” Alice managed to say before her words turned into laughter. The laughter was like music to his ears, he was finally in control. He looked curiously at who's reactions he let his fingers crawl in different parts of the foot. The reactions were most clearly heard and seen under the toes and on the heel; her toes tried to avoid his fingers, which didn't work very well. The reaction was so strong in the heel, or so Phil thought, because it was more immobile than the rest of the foot. When Phil dug his finger into the space between his big toe, Alice shrieked so loudly that he withdrew his hand in shock.

"Are...are you...are you done torturing me?" Alice asked through the wall, panting, you could clearly hear her anger at this situation. "I don't know, we still have some time." “ARE YOUR SHIT SERIOUS!” She roared, trying to free her foot again. The squirming and twitching made Phil laugh out loud. Shaking his head, he pulled his cell phone out of his pocket and entered "tickle" into the search engine. After a few moments he found very informative texts and videos about it. He grinned when he saw objects like toothbrushes or hairbrushes being used here and there. In the meantime, Alice had given up and was running away. "Oh Alice, I found really great things on the internet that are great to use for tickling!" Phil said loudly, at the sentence Alice started to twitch her toes nervously. "What... What kind of things?" Her voice sounded slightly panicked. "Oh, nothing bad, toothbrushes, oil, hairbrush and what they call a flosser, I have no idea what that is." Silence. "I have an electric toothbrush here, I'll get it!" Phil said, moving away from the foot in the wall. "Wh...what! No Phil please, I can't stand this for another minute." She pleaded, which Phil ignored and got the electric toothbrush from the bathroom. "Are you ready?" Phil asked wryly, turning on the brush. “Phil Bitttteeeeee…” again her request was lost in a burst of laughter. In contrast to before, her laughter was significantly louder, with occasional pauses that she needed to catch her breath. Alice's foot twitched wildly back and forth under the head of the electric buzzing toothbrush. In the end, Phil had no choice but to hold her foot tightly. As he did this and slowly slid the toothbrush from his heel down the entire length of his foot, the screaming and laughing grew louder the closer he got to her toes. As he was about to reach her sensitive toes the bell rang. He let go of his foot, irritated, then he remembered. The Craftsman. He quickly put the toothbrush in his back pocket and opened the door.

"Hello, you called, right?" "Yes, exactly!" Phil said and was a little wistful, he would have liked to have had a little more time. The repairman came in, "What's the problem?"

“I’ll show you, follow me!” Phil led the way and stood aside so that the hired repairman could see the foot in the wall. He paused for a moment and then started laughing loudly, “They have some nice decorations!” He said, still laughing, and gave Phil a mischievous wink. He had to smile himself, “By the way, the bill will go to me, because I think my neighbor has already received her fine!” The craftsman laughed again, nodded and got to work.

After less than twenty minutes the foot was free and quickly retracted. "Thanks!" Switch Alice's voice hesitantly through the wall.

Two weeks later, the craftsman had closed the hole in both Phil and Alice's apartments and returned everything to its original state. For these two weeks Alice completely avoided him.

Phil was sitting at the computer when the doorbell rang.

When he opened the door, Alice was standing in front of him with a large gift basket.

“How do I get the honor?” Phil asked kindly and Alice blushed, “You…. You covered the costs!” "Yes, that's right!" “I asked the workshop when the invoice would arrive and was told that you had taken care of it! Why?" She asked, looking him straight in the eyes.

“I thought you learned your lesson and that’s why I was free to do it!” Her eyes grew big and her face turned bright red again, “Yes, I did!” She stammered quietly and looked down. Phil laughed, “Come in first!” He said taking the basket from her and letting her enter.

He closed the door and the two sat down on the sofa, after an initial silence both became more and more talkative. They opened a bottle of wine and didn't notice how the day passed and turned into night.
