After the pulling was over, Nick was back in Anna's bedroom, this time it was less frightening and he wasn't on the floor either. He looked around, he was standing in front of a dressing table with a mirror, the bed to the left, the closet to the right. Nick frowned, in the mirror of the closet he only saw the reflection of Anna, who was lying on the bed, not like before himself in his apartment. He turned around, there in the dressing table mirror he saw himself standing in his apartment, "OK so the more mirrors, the more entry points!" he murmured.
When Anna suddenly sat up, Nick winced, she looked at her phone. Biting her lip, she got up and walked towards him, Nick was so taken by surprise that he didn't dodge in time, but she just walked through him to the dressing table. Nick stood there, heart pounding, and turned around, Anna was bending over a piece of paper and was writing, Nick looked over her shoulder.
"Hey Z,
you're already there?"
"Yes I am! You just don't see me!" Nick said with a sigh and looked at the sheet of paper that Anna was about to fold when she cried out in shock and jumped back, Nick's eyes widened in astonishment, the words he had just spoken suddenly appeared in his handwriting. Anna was white as a sheet and held a hand to her chest, Nick switched immediately: "Don't worry! I won't hurt you!" He said, staring at the paper, the previous sentence disappeared and the new one appeared. Hesitantly, Anna reached out for the pen, Nick grinned. "You can say it out loud, I hear you!" Pen in hand, she looked at the piece of paper where the sentence followed the other.
"O...okay!" She said in a squeaky voice and put down the pen. "Are you a ghost?" Nick started laughing and replied,
"No I'm not!" "Are you here in my room! And how do you do the writing?" Nick thought, how should he explain that? After a moment's thought, he said
"I'm just discovering new skills of mine, I can't tell you exactly how it works either." Anna's eyes darted across the lines, "Ok, but what do you want?"
Yes, what did Nick actually want here? He wasn't sure himself. Could he touch her, maybe even tickle her? But what was the question! He reached out and poked her side, astonishment spreading across his face and hers, Nick at the resistance he felt and Anna at the tickling. Giggling, Anna flinched, "Was that you?" she actually looked around her room insecurely but also amused and grinned slightly. Nick didn't answer but tried to tickle her again with a grin, this time consciously and with both hands, startled Anna backed away to escape the tickling sensation, but Nick went after her. As she kept backing away, Nick found to his surprise that even if she tried to protect her sides, he could just reach out through his arms and hands, as soon as he touched her sides he felt resistance again. Meanwhile Anna was giggling and kicking on her bed, Nick stopped briefly. "That's totally mean, I can't even defend myself!" Laughed Anna and sat up, "Now what you tickle monster?" Nick laughed out loud at her statement, this facial expression she had on her face, a mixture of pleasure, impertinence and defiance. Nick walked over to the dressing table and tried something, trying to grab the note. Grinning, he saw that it worked and so the note floated from Anna's point of view as if by magic from the table and stayed in front of her, "You seem to like it! And you're not afraid, why?" Anna read and blushed and dropped her eyes. "Well when that happened at the bus station I thought I was going crazy, but now I'm just relieved. Also, you seem very nice." Nick looked at Anna, guilt seething inside him. "I'm sorry!" He said quietly and now looked down himself. "It doesn't matter! You opened my eyes and unconsciously showed me my wrong behavior!" She continued to say, eyes downcast. "You know I never had it very easy in life, my father is a drunk, my mother killed himself when my brother was 2 years old. He is mentally retarded, you know!" Nick saw tears drip onto the floor. "I was fertile for many people at school, I always thought that if I wasn't doing well, others shouldn't have it well either!" She wiped the tears from her face with the back of her hand and looked up, and even though Nick knew she couldn't see him, she looked him straight in the face. He swallowed when he saw her smile, "That night I had a fight with my dad, got myself pissed and sent mean messages to a boy from before for no reason. You got me there Caught. And you know, it was oddly liberating lying there and not being able to do anything about that laughter. Was it a punishment? For the moment yes, but it got me thinking and I sought help." Tears ran down her cheeks as she looked at the ceiling. "You helped me, I now have a job and my brother's guardianship requested."
Nick had long since let the note fall to the floor and was sitting on the bed next to Anna. Following an impulse he puts his arm around her shoulders, she twitched when she felt his touch. When he reached for the note, it floated towards him without him touching him, extremely practical, Nick thought and smiled gently.
"I don't know what to say!" Anna read along. "Yes, I saw what you did to the boy and I wanted to teach you a lesson. But I never remotely thought that my actions would help you in this way!" She laughed. "Yeah, I didn't expect that either!" She said softly and wiped the last tears from her face. So the two sat there for a while, when Nick took his arm off her she immediately said, "Are you going now?" Nick heard her disappointment and immediately let the note float up. "Should I stay?" Asked he. "Yes please! I... I didn't even answer your second question!" Nick couldn't help but grin, "Right!" He said. Anna fumbled, "I don't know exactly! That was interesting, but I'm sure it can't do any more, right!" A mischievous glint came into her eyes, wanting to challenge Nick. "For sure!" As soon as the words appeared he poked her side again, squeaking Anna flopped back onto the bed. This time Nick didn't hold back, Anna noticed that very quickly. "MEAN!!!" She screamed under a burst of laughter as Nick attacked her armpits. Every attempt to hide or protect her spots failed, she squirmed like a worm on the bed. Nick tries different places, as he pinches her lower abdomen above the hip, she literally screamed.
A ringing at the door broke the silence, Nick stopped immediately and Anna was breathing heavily. The bell rang again, Anna slowly got up and left the room, when the door opened, it lit up briefly in the entrance to the room, now he saw the small hallway of Anna's apartment. He knew immediately that he could now go there as well, because there was a mirror on the wall in the cloakroom. When Anna opened the front door, Nick saw a person, but the hallway was a room of pure light. "Mrs. Müller, how can I help you?" Said Anna, still a little breathless. "You are too loud!" Said the lady in the door curtly, she was at least 200 years old. "Mrs. Müller, it's not even nine!" Answered Anna kindly, Nick floated towards her from behind. The young woman stood in the entrance of the apartment with her arm outstretched holding the door, Nick smirked as he lightly touched her armpit. She was just able to suppress a scream and pulled her arm down reflexively. Mrs. Müller looked at Anna with furrowed eyebrows, "So what? You are not the only ones in this house!" "That's right, Ms. Müller! But, before the rest period according to the house rules, I can laugh as loud as I want!" Nick couldn't help but start circling her belly button, but only so lightly that Anna didn't lose control. She stood there with twitching facial muscles and listened to the old woman's boring lecture. After a while she just said, "I wish you a nice evening Mrs. Müüüüüler!" Nick had started working her hips from behind, pinching on the last word of the sentence. Mrs. Müller looked up at Anna angrily and left, when Anna had closed the door, Anna turned around. "That was so mean! The woman is always so nasty anyway and you tickle me the whole time during the conversation, she thinks now that I'm completely stupid!" As she said this, she went back to her bedroom, sounding more amused than angry.
"Can you do anything other than tickle?" She asked and looked around, since she didn't know where Nick was standing.
The note began to float at Nick's command, "What were you thinking of?"
He said and looked amused at Anna.
"A massage would be nice!" Said Anna and stuck her tongue out at the note. Nick thought for a moment? Would it work?
"Lay him down on the bed!" He said, Anna looked at the note in astonishment. She shrugged and flopped face down on her bed, Nick sort of sat on her thigh and started massaging Anna. In fact, it worked and after a short time Anna let out loud, satisfied, after he had massaged her back for a few minutes, he got a little bored. He stopped, turns around and pulled out hers shoe socks off. Anna let it happen, Nick saw that so he could interact with pretty much anything. To reassure Anna, he began with a foot massage, a sigh could be heard. Now Nick sat down on Anna's lower legs so that her feet looked out between his legs. He fixed her feet now, when Anna noticed that, she startled, "No, please, not your feet...!!!" She didn't get any further, Nick let all ten of his fingers dance on her two bare soles, Anna twitched like an al behind him. Her feet were fixed in something not visible, every time one foot wanted to protect the other, it was unceremoniously tickled away. When Nick started digging in her toes with his fingers, she kept squeaking and jerking her butt. It was only when Nick heard her laughter that was more silent than loud that he stopped and released her feet. Anna lay there panting, "Nasty!" She huffed and had to giggle a bit. Let the note float, "Good night! I'll be back soon!" Then the note fell to the floor. Anna just nodded, a tired smile on her face. Nick walked towards the mirror, turned around before stepping back. He smiled, Anna snores softly. He went back again, grabbed the blanket that had fallen off the bed while fidgeting, and covered her over. "Sleep well!" He whispered and went back to the mirror.
Back in his apartment, Nick groaned, he had stood in one place for almost two hours without moving. With stiff limbs, he went to the fridge and got himself a beer. With a satisfied sigh, he dropped onto his sofa. He thought, and the beer dwindled, puff after puff, should he? He quickly grabbed his cell phone.
"Hey Anna,
Would you like to meet me? Maybe we can get to know each other better and try a new start!
Good night!
Nick"
After he sent the message his stomach tingled, with that feeling he let you fall into bed.
