I haven't been able to write for a while due to other commitments and another stressful period, but I'm happy to be back publishing.

I had decided that the next story would be about a journey, but I couldn't quite figure out the plot, and instead, I came up with a lot of ideas for this story, which then took precedence.

The story I have in mind is turning out to be quite long, so I've decided to split it into several parts, because I prefer keeping single stories not too long: also, given my long absence, I can publish the first part while writing the rest of the story.

The next part(s) should follow soon-ish (I hope).

Disclaimer: This adventure is obviously based on the rules and setting of Dungeon and Dragons, but I've taken the liberty of not being 100% faithful to every rule, so don't mind if you find errors or inconsistencies: I prioritized the narrative and the squishy shenanigans.
