Sofia

One of the two protagonists of the series; brusque and impulsive, she is Carla's younger sister. Around her early twenties, two years younger than Carla.

Physical Appearance

She doesn’t excel academically, but her determined and stubborn nature has allowed her to train consistently and achieve significant athletic success.

Background

After finishing high school, she worked a few odd jobs before landing a stable job as a sportswear model, hired by Penny’s advertising agency.
She has been lifelong friends with Mia, playing soccer alongside her on their hometown team, which has achieved significant national-level results.
In addition to team training, Sofia regularly goes to the gym and jogs early almost every morning.

Carla

One of the two protagonists of the series; intelligent but lazy, she is Sofia's older sister.

Around her early twenties, two years older than Sofia.

• Tall and slender figure, with an almost flat chest.

• Dark brown hair that reaches down to her lower back when left loose.

• At home, she always wears a gray pajama set, walks around barefoot, and her hair is usually a disheveled mess.

Personality

Carla has always been an intelligent girl who enjoys studying, but she has a naturally lazy and indifferent attitude toward anything that doesn’t interest her.
Depending on her mood and the situation, she can switch from being a laid-back "couch potato" at home to having an energetic and lively (almost bizzarre) personality when she’s outside.

Background

Always at the top of her class, she attends the local university, achieving excellent results and enjoying a certain level of popularity despite her eccentric personality.
She is close friends with Jane, whom she spends time with both at university and in her free time. Recently, Emily has joined their friend group as well.
Carla is passionate about video games, anime, and manga. When she’s not studying for university, she spends most of her time lounging or gaming—unless something piques her interest.

Carla is extremely skilled at returning to her normal form, but she often chooses not to because she usually finds being squished relaxing.

Jane

Carla's friend, calm and collected but often unwillingly dragged into the shenanigans of the two sisters. She is one year older than Carla and attends the same university.

Physical Appearance

• Average height with a frail figure.

• Wears large round glasses and always ties her long brown hair into a braid.

• Typically dresses in plain, muted-colored clothing.

Personality

Jane is introverted and thoughtful, often tasked with tempering Carla’s childlike enthusiasm.
Since meeting Emily, she has grown more assertive and reliable, aiming to be a source of support for her shy new friend.

Background

She is a year ahead of Carla at university, but the two meet regularly inside and outside of campus. Recently, Emily has joined their small group of friends.
Jane has often found herself unwillingly caught up in the squishy shenanigans of the two sisters and tends to view Sofia with suspicion, as she has been flattened by her alongside Carla multiple times.
She shares an interest in nerd culture with her friends, particularly video games and card games: her almost encyclopedic knowledge makes her a strict and fair judge.

Mia

Friend and rival of Sofia, often in competition with her. She greatly enjoys witnessing (and often participating in) the shenanigans between the two sisters. A peer of Sofia and very athletic, she knows how to be mature when the situation calls for it.

Physical Appearance

• Slim and athletic physique, taller than average.

• Muscular, with well-defined muscles throughout her body.

• Has short blonde hair, often kept back with a bandana.

• Frequently wears athletic outfits, including white leggings, a tight-fitting white and orange t-shirt, orange sneakers, and a white bandana across her forehead.

Personality

Mia is an outgoing girl with a strong love for physical activity.
She finds the squishy shenanigans especially entertaining, particularly those involving her friend Sofia and her sister Carla, whom she has known both forever. However, she also demonstrates a surprisingly mature side, respecting boundaries by keeping these games away from those who don’t enjoy them (like Jane) and limiting the squishings to those considered “players”.

She often helps her friends sort out their emotions or restore order when things get out of hand.

Background

Mia and Sofia have known each other forever and share a playful rivalry, constantly trying to outdo one another, including squishing each other in their competitions.
They play on the same soccer team, and Mia is an even more dedicated gym-goer than Sofia.

Layla

Mother of Sofia and Carla; nurturing and kind, but unafraid to squish her daughters as punishment when they deserve it.

• Despite being in her fifties, she retains a youthful charm.

• Slightly taller than Carla, with a curvaceous body featuring thicc thighs, a generous bosom, and exceptionally large hips and butt.

• Medium-length brown hair, often tied back.

Personality

Layla has a maternal and gentle nature, deeply caring for and supporting her two daughters. However, she becomes relentless when it comes to disciplining them, often squishing them as punishment and occasionally giving their flattened forms to the neighbor's child, Isabella, as toys.
In her youth, Layla had an extremely competitive streak that has softened with age, though it occasionally resurfaces.

Background

As a young woman, Layla shared a fierce rivalry with her now friend Emma, leading to regular squishing battles between them, though they grew closer over time.

For as long as her daughters can remember, they’ve seen their mother squished extremely rarely, and their attempts to get revenge for her frequent squishy punishments have always failed.

However, recently, Layla has decided to join in on her daughters’ squishy shenanigans to reacquaint herself with the games and reclaim her former glory, when she was highly skilled at returning to normal.

Emily

Carla's peer and coursemate, who sees Carla as her idol. A deeply shy and introverted girl, she has recently managed to befriend Carla.

Physical Appearance

• Short and frail girl, with long black hair.

• Appears younger than her actual age, despite being Carla's peer.

• At first glance, she seems like a forgettable presence, with her only distinctive feature being her overly long bangs that obscure her eyes.

Personality

Extremely shy, Emily has struggled to fit in at university, repeatedly trying (and failing) to introduce herself to Carla, whom she admires greatly.

Even now that she has managed to make friends, Emily struggles to assert her opinion, especially with strangers, although she is slowly improving.

Background

Emily is very skilled in mechanics, and builds various inventions as a hobby.

After finally mustering the courage to introduce herself to Carla, she starts hanging out with her and Jane, as well as collaborating with Carla on various projects.

She also shares Carla and Jane's love for nerdy interests like video games and anime.

Glory

A high school student with a passion for squishy shenanigans. She knows Sofia and Carla by reputation. A newly minted streamer.

Personality

Extroverted and determined; able to put on a good face in a bad situation if it helps her get what she wants. She tends to act impulsively without thinking too much about the consequences of her actions.

Background

Passionate about squishy shenanigans for as long as she can remember, she is highly knowledgeable on the subject and follows many content creators online.

The recent explosion of the #squished trend has led her to start her own career as a streamer.

Emma

Friend and neighbor of Layla, and mother of Isabella. Usually kind, though she once had an intense rivalry with Layla.

Physical Appearance

• Fairly tall and slender.

• Maternal and kind expression.

Personality

A loving mother to Isabella, Emma generally has a mild and gentle demeanor. However, a recent argument with her friend Layla has reignited her fiercely competitive side.

Background

In their youth, Emma and Layla couldn’t stand each other, often ending up flattening one another. Over time, their relationship improved, becoming good friends.

However, a recent disagreement has brought their old rivalry back to life, sparking a level of competition between them that hadn’t been seen in years.

Isabella

Neighboring child of Carla and Sofia, and daughter of Emma. Layla often gives her the squished bodies of her daughters as toys.

Personality

Lively yet well-mannered.

Background

When Layla wants to severely punish her daughters, she hands over their squished forms (e.g., balled up into a sphere or shrunken down like dolls) to Isabella, who plays with them as toys, unaware that they are actually her older neighbors.
Isabella has a lot of fun with the “magic ball” or the “animated dolls”.

Candace

Friend, peer, and university classmate of Carla; a towering and serious figure who maintains order at the university as the student representative.

Physical Appearance

• An imposing young woman, tall and sturdy.

• She has a serious gaze that comes across as intimidating at first glance.

Personality

Despite her appearance, Candace has a kind personality and a conciliatory tone of voice, giving her an air of reliability.

Background

Elected as the student representative at the university, Candace is responsible for maintaining order among the students, a task she performs exceptionally well.
She is friends with both Carla and Jane and shares a course with Carla. Despite Carla's exuberant nature, the two get along well.

Penny

Photographer and director of the advertising agency where Sofia works.

Not much older than Carla and Sofia, Penny is the founder and director of her advertising agency, where she also works as a photographer alongside her friend Catherine. Her often overly direct and unconventional methods are tempered by her friend.
She has a peculiar habit of flattening her models to lock in the perfect pose and expression.

Catherine

Secretary and all-around assistant at Penny's advertising agency, she keeps her friend and boss in check with firm and decisive authority.

Physical Appearance

• Has a very professional appearance, often wearing tailored, elegant suits.

• Long hair tied at shoulder height with a headband, and she wears glasses.

• Despite being the same age as Penny, she appears older than her years.

Personality

Precise and meticulous, Catherine has a serious demeanor with zero tolerance for jokes or frivolity.

Background

Catherine co-founded the advertising agency with Penny and has taken on the role of reining in her friend's eccentricities whenever they risk going too far, often flattening her without mercy to keep her in line.
