The Assistants
#8 – Be Mine

"I'm bored."

Kristina lifted her lips from her lover's nipple.  "Well, thanks a lot."

Corrie looked up, an honestly confused expression on her face.  "Oh," she said as she figured it out.  She gave Kristina one of her patented waves.  "Not that.  That's fine."

"Uh-huh," Kristina commented doubtfully, before lowering her head back down.

A second or two later, Corrie let out a heavy sigh.

Kristina rested her forehead against Corrie's breast.  "Okay, I can see this is a waste of time," she said, sliding up so that she could look into the other woman's eyes.  "So, you're bored, huh?"

"Yeah," Corrie confirmed.

"Well, if not with me, than what?"

Corrie turned to her.  "It's this silly truce."

"The one with Paul?"

"Yes," her lover nodded.

"Let me see if I got this straight," Kristina said, sitting up a little straighter.  "You wanted Paul to retaliate for what you did.  Because I won't lie to you.  I wasn't looking forward to what was going to happen to us.  Especially not after what he had to do to himself to get Hollie back together."

Another dismissive wave.  "Oh, pooh.  I could fix anything he could do to us."  Kristina cocked an eyebrow at her.  "Eventually," Corrie added.  "I have to admit that Paul is getting more creative lately though."

"That's probably Hollie," Kristina told her.

"Really?"

"Oh, yeah.  Trust me on this.  She has one wicked imagination."

Corrie looked thoughtful for a moment, then smiled.  "Well, good for him," she said.  Her expression turned serious again.  "Still, that just makes this truce all the more disappointing.  Just when he starts to let go..."

Kristina eyed her curiously.  "You really enjoy this back-and-forth between you, don't you?"

"Oh, I do," Corrie replied, turning on her side to face her.  "We've been at it for years.  I don't even remember how it all started anymore.  But all through our teens we were messing with each other.  Then, I started my act and was on the road all the time.  I didn't realize how much I missed it until we reconnected last year."

Kristina smiled, running her finger around Corrie's nipple.  "So," she asked, "what's the craziest thing Paul ever did to you back then?"

"Oh, no doubt about it," the other woman answered without hesitation.  "That would have to be the time he wore me to the prom."

Kristina stopped her petting and stared into her lover's smiling face.  "Wore you?"

Corrie's smile grew wider.  "Yup."

"As a tux?"

"No, silly," Corrie scoffed, tweaking her nose.  "As a gown."

"A gown?" Kristina repeated.  Corrie just nodded.  "Okay, I know there has to be more to this story."

Corrie grinned.  "There is.  If you're lucky, maybe I'll tell you about it someday."

"What?" the younger woman almost shouted.  "No way!  You can't drop hints like that and then leave me hanging."

"No?" Corrie said.  "Why not?  I mean, what's in it for me?"

Kristina glared at her for a moment, then smiled.  "Well, I did have a surprise planned for a little later.  But if we're going to start holding out on each other..."

Corrie lifted an eyebrow at her.  "A surprise?"

"Mmmhmm."

"I see."  Corrie got thoughtful.  "And I suppose that unless I tell you my story, I won't be getting this surprise."

"You started it," Kristina pointed out.

"Indeed," Corrie admitted with a nod.  "But how do I know that this surprise is worth the price you're asking for it?"

"Oh, it is."

"Says you."

Kristina bit her lip while she eyed her lover.  "Okay, I'll make you a deal," she relented.  "I'll show you.  But you've got to promise that after I do, you tell me why Paul had to wear a gown to his prom."  She stuck her hand out for Corrie to shake.

Corrie took the hand.  "Deal," she said, giving it a quick pump.

"Okay," Kristina said, sliding off the bed.  Without bothering with a robe, she headed to the door.  "Wait here.  I'll be right back."

"Take your time," Corrie said, enjoying the view, "I'm not going anywhere."

She lay back in the bed, determined to remain nonchalant about whatever Kristina brought back with her.  That plan died immediately as she saw the younger girl rolled an illusion box through the door.  Sitting up straight, her eyes grew wide.  "Is that...?"

"Paul's paper folding box?" Kristina said, finishing her question.  "Yup."

"How did you...?"  Corrie got out of the bed and headed over.

"Get it?" the other girl smiled, enjoying Corrie's astonishment.  "Easy.  I asked him for it."

Corrie had been looking the box over, but stopped and stepped away.  "And he just gave it to you."

"Yup," Kristina nodded, unable to keep from grinning when Corrie took another step away.  "Oh, will you take it easy.  There's a truce, remember?  Paul hasn't done anything to this thing."  She paused a second for effect.  "Well, nothing I didn't ask him to, anyway," she added, giving her eyebrows a couple of Groucho Marx waggles.

That got Corrie's attention.  "Oh?  And may I ask what exactly that might have been?"

"Nope," Kristina answered flatly.  "That would spoil the surprise," she added quickly at Corrie's darkening expression.

Corrie relaxed a bit, but still seemed wary.  "Fair enough," she agreed, watching as her lover opened the box.  "Let's see what you've got."

"You got it," Kristina said.  "Give me a hand up."  Without moving, Corrie casually gestured, levitating her into the open box.  Kristina took a second to roll her eyes before going to work.

She took her time.  When she had first climbed into this box a few months before, she had been more concerned with just seeing if she could force her tall frame into its tight corners.  With that out of the way, she concentrated more on putting on a good show.  She also wanted to make sure she was in the right position when she was finished.  She twisted and turned in ways that she knew displayed her naked body to maximum effect, enjoying the couple of heavy breaths she heard from Corrie.

"Okay," she announced when she was ready.  "Close me up."

Corrie moved forward and lifted the side panel into position.  She took a second to give Kristina's upturned butt a pinch before closing the lid and locking it.  "Now what?"

"Push the button, Silly."

"You're sure?"

"Never surer."

Corrie hesitated a second longer before reaching for the button.  "Okay, here goes."

When she pushed the button, she stepped back quickly as the box began to shake.  She watched nervously as the series of lights moved through the rollers and pulleys that were painted on the front.  She listened for any sign from Kristina that there was a problem, but all she heard was a soft moan that didn't sound anything like trouble.

Finally, the lights reached the end of the sequence, and a bell chimed.  A second later, something popped out of the slot in the side of the box.  Corrie just stood and stared at it for a few moments until she heard Kristina's voice.  "Well, are you going to leave me here all night or what?"

Though Kristina didn't seem concerned, Corrie was still cautious as she pulled her lover from the slot.  In a matter of seconds, her nervousness gave way to curiosity.  Kristina had been flattened into the shape of a heart.  Her face grinned up at her from the smooth surface of her folded form.  "Happy Valentine's Day, Sweetie," she said with a wink.

Corrie looked genuinely confused.  "I don't understand.  Valentine's Day was..."

"...three months ago," Kristina finished for her.  "I know.  We missed it while we were going through the mail."

"So..."

"So," Kristina continued patiently, "it was our first Valentine's Day together.  I wanted to do something special for you, but didn't get the chance.  I've been trying to come up with a way to make it up to you for weeks now."

"And this is it?"

Kristina rolled her eyes in frustration.  "Yes, this is it.  Think about it, Corrie.  Anybody can give their lover a belated Valentine's card.  But how many can be the card?"  She paused as she watched Corrie work it out.  "Besides," she went on, "you haven't seen the best part yet.  Flip me over."

Corrie cocked an eyebrow at her before doing as she was told.  Her eyes widened as she grinned.  "Well, would you look at that."

Kristina smiled wider.  "Yup.  Can't get that from Hallmark."

"No, you can't," she agreed, running her finger across the back surface of her present, enjoying the moans it produced from the front.  She placed a quick kiss on it before flipping it back over.

Kristina took a moment to get herself together.  "So," she asked, "surprised?"

"Indeed."

"Enough to tell me the story of Paul's prom?"

"Who said it was his prom?"  Corrie smiled at Kristina's confused expression, but cut her off before she could ask the obvious question.  "But, yes, you have earned your reward, and I will give you the whole story..." She paused.  "...even if you did forget part of my present."

"I did?"

"Mmm-hmm."

"What part?"

"The most important part," Corrie replied.

Before Kristina could ask, Corrie placed a finger on her nose.  A second later, Kristina's face froze in its confused expression.  She held her heart-shaped lover between her open palms and gave her a quick shake, causing Kristina's flattened form to pop out to about an inch in width.  Carrying her over to the bed, she sat the reshaped Kristina down onto the bed.  Carefully lifting the top off the newly created box, she smiled down at the contents.

"Whoever heard of Valentine's without chocolate," Corrie stated, pulling out a piece of candy topped with a particularly nipple-shaped bud of chocolate on top.  She placed it carefully between her lips and began to suck on it with a moan.

And Kristina was anything but bored.
