Tawny is gone, FUCK YOU DA!Hello, my DA friends. I'm feeling pretty low tonight. Tawny Tomsen had her account deleted.Tawny is okay. She, and many of her friends, are having fun over on ArtUntamed.com I will be soon too.Tawny has been expecting this for the last four months, and she says she's sort-of relieved it has finally happened. I get what she means, as I'm looking over my shoulder too.So I'm fifty-five years young, and I get that 'life is change.' But it doesn't have to be totally shitty. I hate it when a show I'm enjoying gets cancelled. (Firefly, Dirk Gently, to name a couple.) Which brings me to Demonia.We had been taking turns... Tawny has already said I can post both mine and her pages here... But right now, at four am, with a large tumbler of rum, and a downer on DA, I'm not sure I want to play here any more.I mean I continued with core membership solely so I could schedule the Demonia posts. Why should I continue to give money to the people who clearly don't want me here?But why should their hate spread? Am I letting them win by walking? Am I too drunk to make a grown-up decision?I write stories. For a story to be interesting often bad things happen. Characters have things done to them they do not want. Real-life is non-consensual. If it weren't my mum would still be alive, I'd still be working in the print industry, and my wife would not have Lupus and MS. Deleting people's accounts which depict things that may be non-con means soon you'll have an art site filled with pictures of kittens.So some of the stuff is rude. So is real life. Art should reflect real life. Would DA delete Rubens for 'The Rape of the Daughters of Leucippus'? Sure create an adults-only section for paying customers. But... fuck it! Their playground, their rules.So I'm gonna make a pole. Not done one for a while. I reserve the right to ignore it. But it'll give you people a way of interacting, and letting me know what you think, with a simple click, rather than typing words.
