“Sharing your toys” Part 2 of 2
An Art Trade w/ KingdigikeyatoXZ (See description for details)

“Well, that’s it, I’m officially bored.”

With her feet kicked up on the living room table of her friend Jan’s apartment, Trish let out an uninterested sigh, leaning back as she ran her hands through her thick red hair. “Come on, it’s not that bad! It kind of feels good to have nothing to do for once!” Walking into her living room and plopping down on the carpet beside her friend, Jan looked over to Trish with a lighthearted grin. “But hey, if you’re bored, I’m sure we can find something to do, right? Maybe we can hit up Stacy or Ellen, see what they’re up to for the day.” At that, Trish’s eyes did light up if only just a little bit hearing Stacy’s name, but quickly went back to her normal expression upon hearing Ellen’s as well. Still leaning back and gazing at nothing in particular, Trish replied her same bored tone. “Well, I wouldn’t mind getting to see Stacy I guess. Buuut something tells me if Ellen is anywhere near as bored as I am today, she’d end up turning both of us into some kind of dumb toy like that.” Snapping her fingers in the air for some emphasis, Jan rolled back on the carpet with a slight laugh, relaxing along with her friend. “Come on Trish, Ellen can be a little chaotic at times, but she’s not thaaat impulsive. You act like she’s going to barge in at any moment and turn you into some plush for no good reason.”

At that, Ellen all but kicked down the front door of Jan’s apartment, the door swinging open wide as the girl practically jumped into her friend’s living room. “Guys! What are you doing for the next few hours?!”

Both Trish and Jan shot straight up in surprise, Trish looking to Jan for a moment and then over to the now open front door. “Ellen, how the hell did you get in, that door was locked!” Without skipping a beat, Ellen quickly walked into the living room and half waived off the question. “Magic, but that’s not important right now! What’s important is you two need to help me win a bet!” Looking to each other once more and then back to Ellen, Jan seemed fine with that answer and spoke up in a surprisingly open tone. “Sounds good to me, we were just looking for something to do anyway!” Quick to jump in, Trish interjected before Ellen could answer. “No! Jan no, bad,” she started, pointing to Jan and then Ellen. “First off, what kind of bet are we talking here? And second, this isn’t a magic thing, is it? You’re not just going to turn us into plushies for no reason, are you?”

With a devilish grin, Ellen responded. “Well, maybe there’s a lil magic involved; the bet is for who gets to turn my friend Victoria into a toy of their choice for the day, so the stakes are very high. Which reminds me: this is my competition, Haley.” Looking to Ellen and then back up to the entrance of the apartment, a new girl was standing there with a panda plush in her arms. Jan did a quick greeting to the newcomer, but all the while Trish was locked onto the familiar looking panda doll in the girl’s arms. Sitting up, Trish spoke up bluntly. “Wait a second, that’s Stacy, isn’t it?”

With a grin and a nod, Haley tossed the plush to Trish, who was quick to catch her and hold the toy up by one of her ears. Looking over Stacy doll as she dangled in her grasp, Trish smirked as she spoke up. “Looks like you guys have been busy today then. Don’t suppose Stacy agreed to all this, did she?” Playfully fluffing Stacy, Trish slid the stuffed toy between herself and the edge of the couch, promptly using her as a pillow as Ellen replied. “Of course she agreed, Stacy is my favorite toy, she loves this kind of stuff!” Meanwhile, Stacy pouted quietly as Trish used her like any other throw-pillow, listening as Ellen continued. “Which actually leads me into my next point; I’m not going to turn you two into plushies for no good reason. You’re going to volunteer to be plushies for a very good reason!”

Grimacing slightly, Trish was ready to shut Ellen down, but before she could Jan shot up one of her hands in the air like she was a kid in school. “Me! I volunteer!” Without skipping a beat, Ellen turned to Jan and sat down next to her on the carpet. “I knew you would go along with things, such a good toy” she started with a devilish grin, inching closer to her friend before slipping a hand up the back of her jacket. “And I know exactly what kind of toy to make you too.”

In a second, the grin on Jan’s face widened as changes began to take hold, Haley joining Trish on the couch to watch the show. Slowly at first, the exposed skin on Jan’s arms and legs began to resemble the same deep brown color of her short hair. Seamlessly, her skin began to take on the texture of a soft fabric, Ellen pulling her closer as plush brown fur began to appear as well. All over her body, Jan felt herself becoming soft and furry, even her insides quick to take on a stuffed and plush feel to it. Lifting up her hands to examine the changes, Jan was already finding it hard to move on her own, though she could still see that toyish looking bear paws were beginning to form there. Slowly, her arms and legs began to take on a shorter, plusher appearance just as the changes began to move up past her neck. There, she felt as she slowly lost control over her face, her mouth relaxing in an open, happy smile as a short muzzle with lighter fur began to appear as well. In seconds, her nose was only a black piece of vinyl on the end of her fabric face, her eyes beginning to shift to still, playful looking expression as they became just another sewn on feature. Finally reaching the top of her head, the changes left her hair relatively intact, the short brown tuff of hair blending into the rest of the fabric and fur quite nicely as two rounded ears popped through it all.

As Jan began to sag over atop her new plush frame, she could feel her only real support coming from Ellen’s hand along her back. At that, she could feel an interesting sensation though, as Ellen’s hand felt like it was actually reaching inside her. As if slipping through the fabric of the toy’s back, Jan could feel as her friend’s hand actually reached into her plush chest, moving its way all the way up to her stuffed head. This sensation was coupled by the feeling of Jan slowly shrinking, her clothes becoming baggier on her by the second until she stood just over two feet tall, laying under a pile of her jacket, shirt, and skirt. She was only in darkness for a moment though before Ellen lifted her out of the pile, holding her up in the air by the one hand still in her back.

There, it was clear that Jan was turned into a somewhat realistic looking teddy bear, with the fabric flaps of her mouth hanging open and no clothes on the toy save for a cute purpled bowtie around her neck. A second later though, it also became clear why Ellen had her hand up the teddy bear’s back, Jan feeling as her mouth was puppeted by the hand inside her. “Hi, I’m Jan! I looove being Ellen’s toy. She’s the bestest owner ever, and you should deeefinitely let her borrow you for the day Trish!”

Ellen hadn’t just turned Jan into a teddy bear, but also a plush puppet as well, putting on a silly impression of her friend as she mouthed the words for the plush to say. The whole while, Jan was loving it: though she had been turned into a teddy bear by Ellen in the past, being her puppet was a new sensation all together, admittedly enjoying the warmth of being her hand puppet more than she expected.

Sitting on the couch still, Trish crossed her arms unamused, grimacing slightly as she heard Haley jokingly golf clap beside her. “10/10 performance Ellen, excellent sales pitch.” Taking a quick bow with her hand still tucked within Jan’s plush frame, Ellen shot up from her seat and walked over to the couch, letting the teddy bear flop every which way as she dangled from her grasp. Sitting on the living room table facing the couch, looking to Trish as she sat her new puppet on her lap, Ellen looked to her friend with a pleading expression.

“Soooo, can I borrow you then? I’ll even let you keep Jannie-bear for the rest of the day when we’re done!” At that, Ellen puppeted Jan to nuzzle up to Trish, the girl letting loose a brief smirk before regaining her composure, lifting the teddy bear off of Ellen’s hands and pitching it onto the couch beside her. “Ellen, for the last time, I don’t want to be just another one of your stuffed animals!” This time, Trish lifted Stacy from under her arm and tossed the plush in Ellen’s direction, missing with the panda plush plopping against the wall before falling to the carpet in a head. Pouting slightly, Ellen looked down for a few seconds before glancing back to her friend. “Well, if you say so…” Crossing her arms, Trish thought that was the end of things, but after a moment of silence she felt a small hand brush up against her bare leg. Looking to her friend, Ellen had a familiar devilish grin on her face. “You win, I won’t turn you into a stuffed animal then.”

Before she could stop her, Trish felt a warm energy course up her body from where Ellen was touching her leg. “Dammit Ellen!” Trish managed to get out one more curse before her arms fell to her side, her head cocking back slightly as she was overwhelmed by the changes. All along her legs, she felt as if her knee socks were becoming one with her legs, her skin underneath turning into tan fabric before shooting up her thighs. Much quicker than she transformed Jan, changes began to move up past her hips and to her waist, her lower body taking on a warm numbness as her frame filled with stuffing under her fabric skin. Underneath her maroon tee shirt, her torso took on a similarly dollish appearance, the changes becoming visible as seams appeared along her arms, her hands taking on the look of a mitten like you’d see on a rag toy. Trish would smack Ellen’s hand away from her leg if she could, but her arms didn’t respond to her commands, dangling loosely at her sides as the changes moved up to her neck. There, Trish made one last protest, scowling at her friend, but as the transformation moved past her chin, she felt as her expression was pulled into a bright smile against her will. In seconds, her face had become nothing but the still stitched on pattern of a stuffed doll, her eyes taking on a similarly happy appearance despite her inner rage. Finally, the girl’s red hair shifted itself to the artificial look of a doll, Trish’s head lolling forward onto her plush chest as the transformation completed.

All it took was one small touch, and Trish had gone from one frustrated real girl to a life sized doll, though even now she was fighting against her new body and trying to make herself stand up. Instead, the toy could only begin to tip over in her seat, Ellen caught her friend and lifted her chin to meet her gaze, smirking as how happy the doll looked despite her internal protest. Jumping up in excitement and pulling Trish into a bear hug, Ellen looked to her friend face to face and spoke up. “See? Not a stuffed animal now are you? Just an adorable dolly, and look how happy you are! You really should listen to me more often ya know; Owner knows best!”

At that, Ellen turned Trish to face Haley, the other witch still on the couch and now with Jan sitting on her lap. Slipping her hand into the puppet’s back, she puppeted Jan to look at her before speaking up. “Well, Jannie-bear, what did you think of the show?” Making the plush toy clumsily mouth the words while doing a bad impression of her, Haley spoke for Jan. “I think Trish is gonna kill you when you turn her back.” Laughing at the comment, Ellen went to collect the other toys from around the room, Emma and Priya tucked in her hoodie pocket while Stacy and Trish were pulled snuggly under each of her arms in a broad hug. “Well, in that case maybe I’ll just have to keep her this way!” Internally, Trish was yelling at her friend not to dare even thinking about it, but as she felt Ellen’s grasp pull her stuffed frame closer, the newly made doll couldn’t help but melt a little at how nice it felt. Looking to Haley, the witch admittedly enjoying playing around and puppeting Jan for a few moments before getting up, the two nodded at each other before they made their way to the door with their new toys. “Well then, I guess it’s time to go wake up the birthday girl.”

---

After piling the almost half-dozen toys into the backseat of Haley’s car and starting their drive back to Victoria’s house, any tension that had come from the competition had disappeared between the two magic users. As the various dolls flopped around in the back seat, Ellen taking the time to buckle in her new Trish doll and propping up the other toys beside her, the two witch’s found themselves joking back and forth about the various transformations they had just performed. In what seemed like no time at all, the car pulled back up to where it started, Haley pulling up to Victoria’s apartment. Collecting the toys from the back seat, Ellen smooshing all of her friends-turned-playthings together in her arms while Haley scooped up her dolls as well, the pair made their way up to the birthday girl’s apartment.

Stepping in and kicking the door shut behind them, Ellen playfully dropped her toys in a pile on the couch before turning to Victoria and giggling. The birthday girl was still frozen in place, seemingly midsentence for the past few hours while they had been out collecting their toys. “So Haley, should we unpause the birthday girl yet?” Ellen asked, looking as Haley sitting Emma and Priya on the living room table. With a flick of her want, the two dolls returned to full size, Priya retaining her sitting pose with the same sly smirk while Emma, back to just about 5 feet tall, flopped over on her side with her head landing on her friend’s lap. “Not just yet, we should set everything up, right?” Ellen, glancing at the pile of plushes she unceremoniously dropped on the couch beside her, responded quickly. “Ooh, yeah, right.”

For a minute, the two took their time posing each of the dolls playfully; picking up the lifesized ball-jointed doll, Haley moved Priya to sit on the arm of the couch with one hand on her hip and the other laid out along the backboard. Beside her, the witch put Emma with her paws in her lap, letting the doll fall back and use Priya’s chest as support as her mouth fell open in a grin. On the other side of the couch, Ellen had gotten to work as well, propping up her Trish doll to sit up straight. Once she finally got the stuffed toy to stay in the pose she wanted without falling over, she placed Stacy at her side and propped up Jan on the doll’s lap, sitting the bear with her legs sprawled out aimlessly and even wrapping Trish’s arm around her.

Backing up, the pair looked over their display, content at the adorable scene they had made using their friends. Looking to each other and then Victoria, the witches nodded with a grin, Haley flicking her wand one last time to start Victoria back up. “Here goes nothing.”
“I’ll wait here! A nice safe distance away from…wait what?” Blinking, Victoria finally finished her sentence as she came back to life, looking to the couch where her friends sat seemingly only a second ago. Instead, her living room couch was filled with an array of various toys. Taking a second to look them all over with a confused expression on her face, then looking from side to side to find Haley and Ellen, Victoria spoke up in a flustered tone. “How did you guys do that so fast… wait a second…” At that, it clicked, Victoria turned to Haley and stamped one foot on the ground. “Haley! Did you pause me? On my birthday, without my permission?!”

Hearing this, the Ellen and Haley couldn’t help but laugh, the Haley giving her a quick hug as if to say sorry before the two guided her over to the couch. Though still frustrated, Vic felt as her friends sat her down between the various toys they had collected as the witches as on her living room table to face her. “Relax Vic, we didn’t want to keep you waiting on your Birthday, soooo we made it so that you didn’t have to wait at all!” Crossing her arms, Victoria wasn’t having the excuse, looking between Ellen and Haley. “Well it was still rude…” she spoke up quietly, Ellen quick to respond. “Well we swear we won’t do it again, and on the bright side, look! We brought you some birthday presents!” Motioning to the dolls on either side of Vic, Ellen shook her hands as if to say ‘Tadaa,’ Victoria calming herself slightly as she looked to the dolls on either side of her. After a sigh, the birthday girl couldn’t help but smirk, letting out a meager laugh to herself before looking to her friends. “Alright then, who’s who exactly?”

Excited, the two witches hoped up to show off their dolls, moving Victoria to the table so that she could see. Without skipping a beat, Haley started. “These two beauties are my girls!” She started, stepping up beside her dolls and puppeting Emma to wave at the b-day girl. “This adorable vixen is Emma! She’s plush, she makes for a great bed toy in more ways than one, and you could be just as cute as she is if I transform you today!” Quickly, she moved onto Priya, sitting the girl up and leaning in the ball joined doll in a cute pose. “And this cutie is Priya, one of my first dolls and another great piece of craftsmanship made by yours truly. Plus she’s fully posable!” Seeing the smile on Victoria’s face, Haley gave Ellen a nod, who quickly began her presentation as well.

“But you could also choose to be just as cuddly as one of these girls!” Sitting down on the couch beside them, Ellen started by pulling Trish onto her lap, the stuffed doll sagging slightly as her owner tightly wrapped an arm around her. “This here is Trish! She can be a bit standoffish at time, but after practically begging me to transform her, she couldn’t be happier!” Internally, Trish protested once more, but couldn’t do anything as the life sized doll was handed over to Victoria, Ellen now taking Stacy on her lap. “This panda plush is Stacy, my favorite toy! She loves it when I cuddle up to her, so we made her perfect cuddling size!” Dropping the panda onto Emma’s lap, Ellen slipped her hand into Jan’s back and lifted up her final toy. “And last but not least, if you’re feeling a bit more playful, I can turn you into an adorable plush puppet like Jan here! Say hi Jan!” At that, Ellen puppeted the teddy bear’s mouth and arm to wave, making her say “Happy birthday, V!” in her same goofy Jan impression from before.

Content with their presentations, Haley joined Ellen on the couch and pulled Emma onto her lap, all of them leaning in in anticipation. “So, who won? Who do you think is better?!” Laughing at the display, in a much better mood after the show she just watched, Victoria looked between the various toys and then to the witches before answering. “I… I don’t know! They’re all great, really. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but I’d be happy to join either of them.”

Reeling backwards and groaning in unison, Ellen and Haley let their respective toys flop to the side as they looked to their friend. “Come onnnn, that’s not an answer! You can’t end this on a ‘Everyone Wins!’ kind of situation!” Standing her ground, Victoria shook her head with a shrug and replied. “Well that’s my answer! They’re all adorable, they all look like a lot of fun to toy around with… I mean who do you guys think should be the winner?”

For a moment the two were silent, looking to each other and then back to Vic. Haley was first to speak. “Well… I mean Ellen did great today… she even got Trish to smile even if it’s only stitched on. I think she earned herself a Vic plushie.” Victoria was about to call that settled, but before she could speak up Ellen chimed in as well. “But you did great too! I mean Emma is so cute I kind of want to steal her from you… and did you know she pulled of these transformations in public? It was great! She should get her Vic doll.” Victoria’s only real response was a meek “Well that doesn’t sound safe,” but the statement went unheard as a new argument started between the witches.

In a matter of seconds, both were practically yelling that the other should have Vic for the day, picking up and waving each other’s dolls in their face as if to say ‘But look how cool this is! She turned out great!’ Despite the two being on much better terms now, even coming to really like each other, it didn’t change the fact that both were as stubborn as even, both wanting to give the victory to the other. Not too eager to watch things escalate yet again, Victoria spoke up clearly and loudly for the first time all day. “Enough!!”

Stopping their argument, Emma now in Ellen’s lap and Stacy in Haley’s, the witches looked to their mutual friend as she spoke up. “It’s my birthday, I’m taking charge here. It’s my final answer that you both win the bet, so just be quiet and share your toys!”
For a few moments, the room was silent, the girl’s a bit embarrassed to have gotten so riled up again. Looking to each other for a moment before nodding, they turned back to Victoria with a grin. “Fiiine, you win,” Ellen started, gingerly placing a hand on Victoria’s lap. “Well then birthday girl, I think it’s only fair you get to choose what you end up as.” With a chuckle, Vic looked between her friends, Haley readying her wand and Ellen ready to let some magic loose from her fingers at a moment’s notice. Thinking to herself, she finally gave her answer. “You know what? I’ve always loved cats; let’s go with a cat doll.”

That was all the pair needed to hear: with both of them casting at once, energy seemed to course through Victoria’s body in a faction of a second. With both witches using their powers at once, the transformation was almost instantaneous, Victoria disappearing in a ‘poof’ and in her place a small cat doll appeared out of thin air. The doll was a plush, still resembling the birthday girl in a cartoonish way but with a few added features. Popping through the girl’s dark hair were two pointed cat ears, a small black nose and whiskers on the doll’s face, and even some slightly oversized black mittens and boots at the end of the toy’s appendages, each with pink cat-paw patterns adorning them. The newly made plush was only about a foot and a half tall, Victoria-doll being suspended in midair for an instant before her arms and legs dangled upwards as she began to fall, landing on her rear on the living room table where she once sat.

Taking a second to gather her bearings as she found herself on solid ground again, Victoria looked through two sewn on eyes and with a slight dollish grin up at the her now massive friends, each of which were now leaning in only a few inches from her face with looks of affection. At once, the two witches let out a “Awww!” scooping up the birthday girl and looking over every detail of the plush doll’s frame. Feeling as her friends picked her up and admired her new body, Victoria let out an internal satisfied sigh. Today wasn’t how she expected her birthday going, joining the collection of two crazed witches with a half dozen other toys, but as she felt the warmth of Ellen pulling her into a hug and the plush all but being lost in the warmth and adoring she felt, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

---

After a day of general confusion and the less than ideal situation of watching a movie in the theaters by himself, Brian slowly made his way up the steps leading to Victoria’s apartment with his hands in his pockets. Though he didn’t have much to go on, the last and frankly the only information he had was that Haley was supposed to be spending the day with Victoria for her birthday, so if only to get some answers for earlier today, he found himself ready to knock on the girl’s door. As he lifted his knuckle to tap the door though, he stopped short as he heard a series of excited giggles from inside. Thinking to himself for a moment, Brian instead lowered his hand to the doorknob and turned the handle, the door itself being unlocked and swinging open with ease.

As he slowly stepped into their friend’s apartment, he could hear intermediate chatting and laughter coming from the next room, quietly closing the door behind him as he peaked his head around the corner. Looking for a second, a sense of relief washed over him as a reluctant smile came over his face. Stepping out into the open, he took in the scene in front of him.

There, Haley and Ellen were on Victoria’s living room floor practically encompassed by toys. The first one that caught his eye were Emma, the fox plush currently being pulled into a bear hug on Ellen’s lap. Ellen was resting her chin on the doll’s shoulder as she looked past her and chatted with Haley, playfully puppeting Emma as they chatted. Just underneath the two of them, Priya lay sprawled out on the floor; it was evident that Ellen had just got done playing with her as well, the life-sized ball jointed doll still propped slightly with her head on one of Emma’s stretched out legs. Beside Ellen was Haley, who had a toy in each hand herself. Tucked under one arm, Brian could see his girlfriend had a small cat doll; at first, he didn’t recognize the toy, but seeing that the doll has a small toyish birthday hat on her head, he could guess that it was Victoria. On Haley’s other hand was what looked like a cute plush teddy bear, but watching as she slipped her hand into it’s back and puppeted the plaything around for a moment, it was clear the toy was a puppet as well. Finally, beside both of them, another life sized doll was propped sitting up against the coffee table; the red haired stuffed doll had a bright smile on her face, her limbs sprawled out clumsily with a smaller, familiar panda plush on her lap.

For a moment, the witches didn’t notice Brian, but after a watching them play around with their newly made toys for a short while both ended up turning to see him before promptly breaking out laughing in a somewhat embarrassed tone. “How long were you standing there?” Haley started, watching as her boyfriend walked over to join them on the carpeted floor. Sitting down using Trish doll as a back pillow of sorts, pulling Stacy onto his lap and casually toying with the panda, he responded. “Long enough to see you two have been just really busy today.” At that, he motioned to the toys that now filled the room.

“Hey, we couldn’t help it!” Ellen replied, motioning to the cat doll in Haley’s hand. “It was Vic’s birthday, we had to go all out!” Chuckling at the answer, Brian shot back sarcastically, holding up Stacy with a little jostle for emphasis. “Oh yeah, of course. What better way to spend her birthday than turning all of your friends into toys.” At that, all three couldn’t help but laugh a bit at the ridiculous of the situation they found themselves in, Brian throwing in one more remark. “I mean come on, don’t you think you went a little overboard with all this?”

For a moment, Ellen looked to Haley before both glanced back to Brian, a familiar grin on both of their faces. “Hey, you can never have too many toys… As a matter of fact…” At that, both the witches slowly set down their dolls, Haley picking up her wand and Ellen inching towards Brian on the carpet. “You thinking what I’m thinking?” Haley remarked, Ellen nodding with a quick reply. “Great minds think alike, don’t they?”

Looking between them, Brian’s expression turned from a sarcastic grin to a look of confusion, quickly followed by realization as to what was happening. “Wow now, caaalm down you two, I was joking. Don’t get any ideas,” he shot back, starting to get up from his seat. It was too late though, Ellen had already brushed his ankle with her hand and Haley had let loose a flick of her wand. “What, don’t think this is going a bit overboard then?” Haley teased, both her and Ellen grinning once more. Glancing between the two of them one last time, Brian let out a sigh before laughing in a defeated tone. “You two really are the worst.”

Not even a minute later, Ellen and Haley were laid out up against the newest addition of Victoria’s toy-themed birthday party, an oversized dark-furred teddy bear that was bigger than either of them. Brian, having been turned into a toy for the first time in what seemed like forever, sighed internally as he was propped up with the rest of the witch’s toys in a pile, Ellen and Haley quick to join them as they relaxed atop their collection. Looking at the two of them, despite his mixed feelings about having just been ambushed, he couldn’t help but feel a relaxed warmth coming from the pair, and he had a feeling the rest of the dolls and plushies they had collected that day felt the same. ‘So much for a normal day’ he thought to himself, feeling as the witches started to toy around with the various plushies while still leaning against him. ‘I have a feeling this is going to be a long night.”

If anyone was to walk into Victoria’s apartment at that moment, they would have just seen two giddy looking friends playing around with a sizable collection of well-made toys.

But then again, when it comes to magic, looks can often be deceiving.
