All around him, the mall was bustling, the noise of dozens of people circulating through the open spaces of the shopping center. Through all this, Zach yawned, a satisfied grin across his face. Reaching into his pocket, he pulled out a small sheet of paper, the words ‘Christmas Shopping’ written boldly at the top. Glancing across the list, Zach could see each name on the list was crossed out, each a person he had already completed his shopping for, but one name stood out at the end of the list. Jane, his niece, was still yet to be crossed out, her being the only person he still needed to shop for. ‘Well, had to, not anymore,’ Zach reminded himself briefly before grabbing a pen and crossing her name from the list. Just a few moments before, Zach had found her gift, a chance find when stumbling through the toy shop of the mall.

While browsing the aisles, Zach found himself feeling rather disappointed, his eyes jumping from one toy to the next. ‘They’re all just plastic pieces of crap,’ he mumbled to himself, looking distastefully between a selection of Barbie dolls and some notably clumsily made stuffed animals beside them. Zach sighed to himself at the sight; he knew his niece would want a new doll for Christmas and yet this just seemed…cheap. Standing there for a few moments, he reluctantly began to reach for a stuffed elephant on the shelf, but stopped half way as something caught his eye. Towards the end of the aisle, a girl turned the corner, slowly making her way down towards him. With a slight airiness to her steps, she made her way beside him, glancing over the same stuffed animals he was with a slight grin on her face. Innocently, she reached out and took the elephant Zach had almost reached for, looking over the toy as she held it in her small hands. Glancing over the girl, Zach was impressed. Dressed modestly in a sweater and jeans, the girl seemed to have a natural gentleness to her, her features each seemingly small or delicate in their own way. With it came a certain beauty about her; while not overtly attractive she definitely was easy on the eyes. After a moment, Zach shrugged to himself, slipping a short wand from his sleeve into his hand. ‘Well, if I can’t find a good gift I might as well make one.”

Only a few moments later, the girl that was beside him was nothing more than a beautifully crafted, ball-jointed doll, shrunk down to barely a foot tall. A look of surprise was still on her now still plastic face as she looked up Zach from her back after falling motionlessly onto the floor below him. Beside her on the floor was the stuffed elephant, now in a flattened heap beside the newly made doll. Returning his list to his pocket, Zach knelled over, picking up the doll in his hand. Fixing the doll’s tussled hair, he tilted the toy’s chin as to lock eyes with her. Smiling at his own handiwork, he spoke softly to the doll. “Yup, you’ll do just fine.” Internally the girl protested wildly, a mixture of confusion and frustration filling her thoughts as Zach lifted her up, running his thumb playfully over her now polymer form. Reaching down, he plucked the price tag from the stuffed elephant, wrapping it around her ankle instead. All the while, Zach could hear each bewildered thought the doll had, but he shrugged it off. ‘People always have trouble getting used to new things, she’ll probably love being Jane’s new doll…probably.’ Besides, these protests weren’t anything new to Zach’s ears. This wasn’t anything Jack hadn’t done before, he was used to the typical rebalance and eventual acceptance he saw in most people that ended up as objects. Standing up with the doll in hand, he stretched his back slightly before glancing down the hall again. There at the end of the hall was a younger girl, a look of shock over her face. It was clear that she had seen everything that had just unfolded. With a smirk, Zach lifted a finger to his lips, making a mock ‘shhh’ sound to the girl before turning his back to her, walking out of the aisle.

Calmly paying for the doll, Zach found himself casually flirting with the girl behind the register as he heard the distant commotion of the girl trying to convince her mom of what she just saw. Paying it no mind, the cashier slipped the doll into a bag, handing it to Zach with a grin before he stepped out of the store. ‘Alright then, magic makes life easier once again,’ he thought as he threw the bag with the girl in it in with some of his other gifts. Walking through the mall, Zach kept his triumphant grin, glad his shopping was done with money to spare. Making his was to the center of the mall, he crossed through the crowd to an open wall, leaning against it as he checked his phone. It was still early, well before he had to be anywhere. With that in mind, he paused for a moment, thinking to himself as he did. ‘I could always pick up a little something for myself,’ he thought, pondering over what he needed if anything while he was still at the mall. After a few seconds thought, an idea crossed his mind. Thinking about the girl-turned-doll in his bag, he smirked to himself. ‘It has been a little while since I got myself a new toy,’ he thought devilishly, and at that he made up his mind. Zach was going to do a little shopping for himself.

Glancing around the decoration-covered center of the mall, his eyes cut through the crowd in a calm, almost analytic manor. The first thing that caught his eye was a small kiosk; a simple stand off to the side of the crowd selling slippers of some sort. Zach hardly cared to notice that though, his attention instead focusing on the girl on the stool manning it. Her red hair stood out in the crowd, and with it came a notably feminine physique about the girl. Wearing a very low cut shirt, it was clear the girl was trying to woo the men of the mall into checking out her ‘goods’, both on the stand and off. Glancing over the girl, Zach couldn’t help but think she’d make a good bed toy, a stuffed doll that would probably do just as good as a job getting him to come to bed than she is at getting people to buy slippers. After a brief daydream about the prospect doll-to-be, he shrugged the idea off. ‘Low hanging fruit, let’s find something a little more interesting.’

From there, his search continued, Zach’s eyes and thoughts jumping around the space at each girl that caught his eye. To him, nothing really stood out though, Zach easily finding himself exploring common themes in his mind. He had transformed the occasional girl into a doll in the past, many of which were now on his desk or in a box under his bed depending on their nature, but having done it times before he found himself struggling to find interest in more of the same. ‘Someone here has to stand out,’ he grumbled to himself, his grin fading into a look of disinterest. Almost giving up, something caught his eye as a section of the crowd cleared momentarily. There, down another section of the mall, was Santa. Not really; in actuality it was just a chubby guy dressed up as the man, but all around him was an elaborate set up, a section of the mall sectioned off to take pictures holiday pictures with the man. Surrounding him was an array of evergreen trees, sacks of toys all coupled with a mock build of the “North Pole." All of this was simply the cheap set up of a mall Santa, but that was no matter; none of this was what caught his attention anyway. Instead it was a girl standing within the display; a short beauty with bright features. Dressed head to toe in an elf costume that seemed to purposefully show off her curves, the girl stood there with a bored look on her face, toying with her hair as she stood amongst the fake snow and toys of the display. Looking between her and the toys around her, Zach smirked to himself as his eyes looked over the elf. “Looks like she’s a perfect fit,” he mumbled to himself with a grin, only further enticed by the girl’s looks from the elf costume she wore. “Guess I need to go pay the fat man a visit,” he thought, and at that, Zach began to zigzag his way through the crowd to the display.

Miranda had never been much of one for the holiday season. Despite standing in the middle of the mall donning an elf costume, she never really had a taste for it all; frankly the only reason for her even being there in the mall at such a time was for some much needed money. She didn’t even have to buy gifts this year, her parents off on some holiday cruise while most of her friends left to spend the week at home, and yet money was still sparse, so picking up an odd job at the mall seemed like a good way to spend what seemed to be an uneventful week. Granted, the job was painfully boring, most of her time caught between dealing with little kids and people watching. After all, she was practically just another one of the decorations for the set up; a pretty looking elf to help sell the painfully fake north pole setting she found herself in. The only thing she really did like about the job was her costume, her short stature and platinum blonde hair making for a pretty convincing elf.

Leaning against a back wall, Miranda checked her watch and sighed. ‘Another few hours in this hell hole and then I’m out of here,’ she thought to herself. She didn’t have anything planned for the night, but even being home alone would be better than where she found herself now. Closing her eyes for a few seconds, she rested her head against the wall, trying to block out the droning sound of the mall around her. After a moment had passed though, she felt someone move near her, the wall beside her shifting slightly. Opening her eyes and glancing over beside her, there was a younger guy, about her age, with a few shopping bags in each hand. He was sharply dressed, and admittedly not too hard on the eyes. As she looked to him, the man appeared to be looking elsewhere, before looking to her and catching her gaze. Smiling slightly, he was quick to strike up a conversation. “So, what kind of saint would I need to be to get you for Christmas?” he started, Miranda’s eyebrow arching slightly at the statement. Laughing slightly, she replied with a mix of discretion and interest, “Wow, going right for the cheesy pickup lines then?” Admittedly she would have been creeped out if the words came from a less attractive guy, but for now she was stuck there, and was at least willing to entertain a conversation with an attractive stranger.
The two bantered back and forth for a while, Miranda at first simply trying to skimp out of work for a while but within minutes quickly turning towards a returned interest. From as far as she could tell, the guy seemed pretty interesting; plenty funny and nice enough as well. And after all, it wasn’t everyday she got hit on so directly. Soon enough, she found herself laughing along with him, genuinely charmed by this stranger. Soon enough, the conversation lulled slightly, the man catching his breath before getting right to the point, another fairly bold move by him. “So…I know it’s a busy season, but you free for dinner tonight by any chance?” As he spoke, Zack fiddled around with the wand stashed in his sleeve, half-expecting to have to use some persuasion to help the girl along. “Yeah, sure, I’ve got nothing planned.” Miranda replied with a smirk, Zack a bit surprised at the response as he quickly slid the wand back in his sleeve. “Well, perfect then!” At that, Zack slipped the girl a piece of paper, a prewritten address and number for his apartment. “9 sound good? I’ll have dinner ready by then,” he said with a smirk, Miranda quick to agree with a smile on her face. At that, Zach disappeared back into the crowd, leaving the elf alone against the wall. “Maybe this Christmas won’t be so bad after all,” the girl thought, pushing some hair out of her eyes as she watched her stranger walk away.

After dipping away, Zach went right home, a cheerful demeanor sticking with him the whole way. Walking through his door, he dropped his bags on the couch, the ball-jointed doll rolling out onto the cushions as he did. He hardly paid it any mind, throwing his jacket onto a girl-turned mannequin he used as a coat rack beside his door before dipping into his closet to grab some wrapping paper. From there, Zach kept himself busy for the next few hours as he waited, going back and forth between wrapping his gifts and cleaning up the apartment. After some time, the place seemed clean enough, with a small pile of wrapped gifts stacked neatly in the corner. Even using some magic to help the process along, he found himself finishing just in before the girl showed up at his door. As a series of gentle knocks echoed out from the door, Zach sprang up, making his was to the door. ‘A new doll that delivers itself, what more could a guy ask for?’ he thought to himself cheekily, opening the door wide with a grin on his face. Before him was Miranda, still dressed in her elf costume, smiling bashfully at the sight of Zach. “Sorry, I didn’t have enough time to change, and they made me stay late at work, and-“ Zach stopped her short, taking her hand briefly. “You look fine, I love it. Very festive,” he said jokingly, disarming the notably tense girl. “Now come on, I’m dying to see what you think of my cooking.”

From there, dinner went surprisingly well. Zach wasn’t used to girls warming up to him as quickly as Miranda did but as the two talked over the food they only seemed to get along more and more. ‘Shame she won’t be much for conversation when’s all said and done here,’ he thought. Part of him was tempted to leave her as is, but despite being a plenty attractive girl, something told him she’d be an even better doll. ‘Maybe I’ll compromise and give her a voice box,’ he said with a smirk, taking a bite of the food as he glanced up at the girl.

For Miranda, she couldn’t believe her luck. This guy, some stranger from the crowd, was everything her first impressions made him out to be and more. It didn’t hurt that he was a great cook, the food between them tasting amazing he just whipped up. By the time the meal was done, she already felt comfortable with him, a feature that was a bit of a rarity between herself and others. Something about him just seemed to draw her to him, a certain charisma that she couldn’t put her finger on. In honesty, it wasn’t even magic on Zach’s part, his wand not moving even slightly from his wrist strap for the duration of the night.

As the meal wrapped up, Miranda helped him clean up as the two continued to talk. “So, mind if I go clean up?” Miranda asked, looking up to him as he cleared the last dish. “Yeah, of course. The bathroom’s connected to my bedroom, right down the hall in there.” Thanking him, she quickly walked down the hall, a bright grin on her face. As she stepped through his room and into the bathroom, she washed up briefly in the mirror. “This is going surprisingly great,” she told herself, glancing back at her reflection in the bathroom mirror. Content, Miranda walked back into his bedroom, taking a moment to look around. The room was fairly neat, with the occasional shirt cast over a chair but nothing too messy. The bed was made, his laptop placed precariously on his desk, but above that, something caught her eye. At just about eye-level above the desk was a shelf, lined with a series of beautifully crafted dolls. The toys had a degree of variety to them, one on the end being a stuffed doll help into standing positon by two bars under her arms, while the others being an array of figurines and jointed dolls. Walking up to them, Miranda took one of the dolls in one hand, looking over it. The girl in her hands was dressed as ballerina, her small body covered in a series of a dancer’s tights. Her hair was pulled up into a bun, resting above a beautifully painted face, with a very expressive look of focus over it. The detail of the doll, everything from the clothing to the perfectly toned skin, was incredible, the toy looking practically real if not for her size and the occasional visible joint. “Quite a little collection you got here, Zack.” She whispered to herself.

“Pretty nice, right?” Miranda turned around quickly, inhaling sharply as she did. It was Zack, standing in the door frame to the bedroom. Upon seeing it was him, Miranda calmed, loosening her tightened grip around the doll’s frame. “You scared me there, I almost crush your dancer friend here,” Miranda joked in a releaxed tone, lifting the doll back to her stand as she did. Entering the room, Zach sat on the foot of the bed beside the desk, Miranda turning back to face him. “You don’t think it’s an odd thing to collect then?” he started, Miranda seemingly unphased by the question. “Not really, no. I mean they’re beautifully made, I’d have a few back at my place if I knew where to find them.” She replied, glancing back up to the dolls that lined the shelf. “Well, I made them myself actually, each one of them.”

Her brow raising at the statement, Miranda was shocked. “You made all of them? How? They’re so…” she started, Zack quick to finish her sentence. “Lifelike?” he added, her nodding in agreeance as he did. “Well, the trick is a bit of skill, some magic, and working with only the finest of materials,” he said with a knowing smile, Miranda laughing at the comment. “Oh really, magic? Now that I’d love to see you do that.” Laughing with the girl, he smiled back at her, flicking his wand down into his palm. “Gladly.”

All at once, Miranda felt herself relax all at once, almost losing her footing as she moved backwards onto the foot of the bed besides Zack. Resting his hand on her back, he spoke to her in a warm tone. “You know, I’m glad you wore that elf costume of yours here. That just means I don’t need to think up a costume for you later.” Confused and flustered, Miranda felt herself relax deeper, supporting herself as she pushed up against the bed. “Later? What’s later?” she questioned, genuinely enjoying the encompassing feeling that seemed to wash over her. “Well later is when I decide if you’re going to be for decoration or for play,” he replied. Before Miranda could comment on what he said, Zack leaned in, kissing her deeply as he did. With what she was already feeling, the kiss was ambrosia, sending a tingling sensation down her spine. At that, her arms gave out, Miranda falling back onto the bed.

As she lay on the plush surface of the bed, Miranda felt her jaw relax, her mouth opening slightly as the tingling overwhelmed her. Though she couldn’t see it happening, her skin began to shift from her normal light toned skin to silicon of the same color. Starting at her lips where Zack had kissed her, she could feel her mouth soften as her lips and tongue shfited to silicon, relaxing fully as the change moved down her jaw. Washing over her nose and face, any of her blemishes disappeared, leaving only the occasional painted on freckle in its place to go with the elf costume. Her eyes fixed, unmoving as similar changes reached them as well, resting wide open as she stared off at the ceiling. All the while her mind was still being racked by the sensations she was feeling. Moving down her neck, the changes hit her breasts, each becoming more pert as well as prominent as they slightly jutted out of the girl’s elf costume. Rushing down her arms, Miranda’s limbs laid still on the bed as they became synthetic as well. Moving down to her waist, she yelled out silently as the strongest orgasm of her life hit her as the changes reached her sex. Around her hips, she could feel her ass firm slightly, her already beautiful figure toning slightly. Finally, reaching her legs, her feet remained motionless as the dangled off the edge of the bed, now belonging to nothing more than a sex toy.

As the tingling faded, Miranda began to come to, only to watch the room grow around her as she did. Just as quickly as her body had shifted to silicon, Miranda’s form began to shrink until she stood barely two and a half feet tall, practically indistinguishable from the other doll’s that lined Zack’s shelf. As she laid flat on his bed, her clothes followed the changes accordingly, shrinking down to fit her now tiny form. Just when she thought the changes were over, she felt something in her began to change once again. All through her torso down to her sex, she felt herself hollow out. As the bizarre feeling reached her crotch, her sex seemed to expand internally, creating an opening to her now hollow form. Looking over her, Zack smiled at his handiwork. Admittedly, Zack couldn’t decide if she would make a better decorative piece or a sex toy, so he compromised. Before him now was a miniature sex doll, which despite her size, was more than capable than sufficing for both needs.

“So, how do you like it? Glad you figured out how I make my dolls?” Zack started in a joking down, propping the practically helpless girl onto her knees on the bed with one hand. For a few moments, Miranda just sat there, seemingly just another inanimate object in the room, but after a few seconds the doll blinked. Slowly, she closed her jaw, composing herself slightly as her eyes looked over her new form. After a few more seconds she began to speak. “I…I love it.” She said gently, looking up to Zack as she did. Looking to the doll, he blinked in relative shock, not entirely believing what he just heard. “You’re not freaked out? Not horribly distraught over this life changing thing that just happened to you?” he asked, trying to prompt some kind of natural response out of the newly made doll. Miranda just stood up, now on wobbly silicon legs, walking over to Zack. “I don’t know, should I? All I know is I feel amazing right now. I don’t know how, or why you did this, but holy shit do I feel good…what am I exactly?” She said, curiously poking at her now hollow stomach with her hand. Zach was impressed; most of the girls he’d come to own were terrified for days until settling in to their new forms. One girl under his bed still wasn’t used to being treated like a doll after all this time, but Miranda seemed to take to her new identity like a fish to water. “You are my new sex toy,” Zack spoke with a light indirect tone, not even sure what to expect from the girl. With a look of realization over her face, Miranda smiled, finally getting what her hollow form was for. “Ohh, that’s what I’m for then…Well? What are you waiting for? You going to play with your doll or what?” she said, looking up to her new owner with a seductively innocent look.

Zack was baffled. After a few seconds of trying to wrap his head around the situation, he found he was more confused than the newly made doll beside him. He honestly didn’t know how she was taking the transformation so well, but after a few moments more he couldn’t care. Looking over his new doll, he couldn’t help but get turned on despite it all. Despite her smaller form, her figure remained perfect, her pretty face now looking up to him with a gaze of longing. Zack didn’t know what he was waiting for. Moving back onto the bed to the back board, he scooped up Miranda with one hand, the girl smiling brightly as her new owner handled her. Despite all of Zack’s experience, what he didn’t realize that he wasn’t the only one with a thing for dolls. Ever since she was in her teens, Miranda had a passion for pretending to be a doll. She loved the innocence about dolls, with their simple and fulfilling purpose of just wanting to make their owner happy. With life as complicated as it is, she envied how easily they could be happy and bring happiness just by being there. As she entered relationships throughout her life, she found her desire bridged into her sexual tastes, her developing a bit of a fetish. Still, she kept it to herself. After all, pretending to be a doll mid-intercourse only seemed to give off the wrong idea, but now, she couldn’t believe her luck.

Now, she was a doll. ‘Even if this is just some crazed dream, I don’t think I want to wake up.’ She thought to herself, feeling herself slump over the top of Zach’s hand as she felt her owners grip shift around her waist. Propping her on top of him, Zack was quick to strip the costume from the doll, dropping her skirt and lifting her shirt up and over her head, her arms falling to her sides as her breasts fell down as well. Though she could still move, she didn’t want to. ‘Doll’s don’t move without being moved, after all,’ she reminded herself, giddy about how easily Zack manipulated her. With her underwear quick to come off as well, Miranda’s silicon body was exposed, showing off her figure of the half-sized girl to Zack as he proper her back into a knelling position on him. Unbuttoning his pants, Zack dropped his own as well, kicking off his underwear a second later. Now half naked, Zack then propped up Miranda against his exposed, already aroused shaft, the doll’s body and face leaning up against it as Zack took his shirt off over head as well. For her new size, he felt huge, her face now resting against his member. Her own arousal far beyond anything she had felt before. Feeling Zack wrap his hands around her again, she was practically dying from anticipation, to finally be played with how she had dreamed about. Spreading her legs and bringing the doll down onto him, Zack could feel himself slipping into the doll, and Miranda could certainly feel him. As her hollow form became encompassed by Zack’s shaft, she could feel him reach up into her, as far as her chest.

Almost immediately she orgasmed again; feeling her new owner slide up and down through her whole form was almost too much to handle. She felt like little more than a glorified flesh light but she loved it, enjoying every second of her being played with. As he continued to guide her up and down on him, Zack ran his free hand over her chest, brushing her face gently as he did. Feeling him, Miranda came again, feeling what was left of her own movement fade in an instant as she struggled to think. The girl’s arms and legs bounced up and down slightly with each thrust, Miranda’s head now slightly tilted to the side with a seductive look on her face as she felt her fate as a doll solidified with every time he slid into her. She tried to move her arms, trying to squeeze against him as if to help, but Miranda was helpless now; all of her motion now was simply her owner moving her soft form. As Zack picked up the pace, he didn’t know how much he could take, the doll bobbing up and down like a ball on a string. Sliding her off for a second, Zach threw her on to the bed, her naked form looking up at him now. Entering her again, Miranda tried to call out in pleasure but she made no noise, her face now motionless in a seductive smile. Trusting into her on the bed, it was all too much for both of them. Soon enough, he squeezed Miranda tight around his shaft, and with one final push slid all the way into her, coming as he did. Feeling the warmth course through her whole body, she was lost in bliss, not even fully aware as Zack fell on top of her before rolling onto his back, letting her slide off him as she fell limply forward to his chest.

Miranda could feel herself slowly come to after a few minutes. She was in the sink of Zack’s bathroom, his hands around her as he flipped on the tap, filling Miranda with water as to clean her out. After flushing the contents of the doll out several times, he ran his finger around the inside of the doll one last time to check for residue, sending Miranda into another momentary erotic bliss. Smiling contently at the doll’s internal moans, Zack lobbed the doll onto his bed from the bathroom, her landing in a heap on the matress with the same permanent look of arousal on her face. After showering, Zack returned to the room, looking at the doll on his bed. “Well you make a great fuck toy, but something tells me you’ll make some decent decoration when I’m not using you too.” He spoke cheerfully to the doll, picking her up by one leg as he carried her over to the closet. Dressing Miranda in her elf costume, Zach left the underwear aside. “Trust me, doll, you look better this way,” Zach joked, glancing up her skirt as he ran his finger along her chest one more time. Miranda giggled internally, loving the attention her owner was giving her. From there, Zack pulled a stand from the back of the closet. Using some magic on the doll stand, the stand changed slightly, with the stand itself resembling a base with a thing, smooth cylinder protruding from it. On the front of the base there was a small engraving: Mira the Elf.

‘My own stand? This just keeps getting bett-ahhhh,” Miranda internally cried out unexpectedly as Zach slid the cylinder inside of her, using it to prop her up on the stand. Content, Zach put Miranda, now held standing upright by the rod inside of her, on his desk, her smiling bright as she looked where Zach had pointed her. Smiling at the doll, Zach jumped on the bed, exhaling in relaxation before he heard a sound at the door. Hearing the door open and close, he seemed unphased, only looking up once a woman entered the room. The girl was a brown haired beauty on the taller side, who smiled at Zach as she walked through the door. “Hey sweetie, get all your shopping done today?” she asked sweetly, jumping on the bed beside him before giving him a kiss. “Of course, even got a little something for us to share,” he replied with a smirk, motioning to the propped up doll on the desk. “Think of her as an early Christmas gift, ok?” Quick to jump up, the woman rushed over Miranda, her eyes wide with excitement. “Wow, she’s beautiful, Z,” she started, sliding Miranda up off her stand, the doll being turned on immediately from the stimulation. Holding the elf over head in her hands, she looked up her skirt as to see where the stand went. With a giggle, she continued. “Beautiful, and a fuck toy apparently?” she said, smirking at Zach who shrugged on the bed. “Like I said, she’s for both of us to share.”

Biting her lip as she looked over the doll, the woman was clearly a bit turned on. “Well, I love her. I swear, you’re going to have to tell me where you get these little beauties someday.” She said, sliding Miranda back onto her stand facing the bed. Turning to Zach, the woman hopped on top of him, kissing him deeply as she did. Looking up at her, Zach smirked. “One day I’ll show you exactly how they’re made, ok?” At that, the two went at it, putting on a show for Miranda and the rest of the dolls on the shelf. As the two made love, Zach could have sworn he saw Miranda bite her lip in lust, already dying to be played with again. Winking at the doll, Zach smirked before returning to his girlfriend. ‘Who knows Miranda, maybe if you’re good it’ll be you over on the bed and Jane here on the stand instead.’
