As morning came around once again, everything seemed more or less normal in Nate’s apartment. The rays of light poured through the window as it always did, illuminating the beige walls of the room. Everything seemed in its place; same layout of dark wooden furniture, same bed in the middle of the room, and as usual there was a large doll sprawled out over the bed as well. Thing is, things weren’t exactly the same though. Where normally a blonde, curly haired doll was propped against the wooden backboard of the bed, there was instead a red headed doll laid out over the mattress. This was Annie, still dressed in her servant outfit from the night before, lying still as she had been for most all the night. She lay as still as ever even as the morning began, with her mind still asleep as well, but as the light began to reach her eyes, she began to wake.

As the light from the window began to reach Annie’s eyes, she began to stir internally. After a moment of muddled confusion, the girl sprang to consciousness, the memories from the night before came rushing back to her. She tried to sit up, but despite her efforts her body wouldn’t budge. She laid there, staring up at the beige ceiling of the now lit room as her mind exploded with thoughts. “So last night was real? How is any of this even possible? Where’s Nate? And that Girl! And…” Annie began to rattle off in her head as she tried to make sense of everything. She thought over every detail from that night, trying to move her cloth body every so often to no avail. After a few minutes of frantic thought, she began to calm down, but as she did, she saw something, a figure stepped into the room out of the corner of her eye: it was the girl from the night before. For a second, the girl stood there looking down at Annie from the doorway, but after a few seconds she made her way over to the bed. Playfully jumping on, the girl picked up Annie with ease, sitting her light frame across from her on the bedspread. All Annie could do was let the girl handle her, feeling the girl’s small hands press into her as she did. Now sat up on the bed, Annie was facing directly at the girl; she was short, even shorter than Annie, with bright green eyes and brown hair going down her back. She had a wide grin as she looked over the toy. “Nate said your name was Annie,” the girl started, moving Annie’s arms and legs to a crossed sitting position as she spoke. “Well I’m Julia, and I’m your new owner. Holly is Nate’s, technically. He’s had her since before we were dating, but you?” she said lifting Annie’s chin with her hand, “You’re all mine.” At that, Annie felt a chill inside. Up to this point, she felt trapped, but for the first time she felt like she really was just a doll, something this girl could actually own. At that, Julia took Annie by the waist and pulled her tightly to her chest, hugging her as she stood up from the bed. “Now come on, as much as I want to play with you now, that’ll have to wait until later, Nate’s waiting for us with breakfast!” Julia exclaimed, and at that she made her way to the kitchen with Annie drooping limply in her arms.

There, Annie could see from her bobbing head that Nate was waiting at the kitchen table with two plates of food. He looked up at the two and smirked; “Hey, look who found her gift,” Nate spoke up as Julia carried the doll over to the table. “Well I didn’t want to just leave her in that room all day!” she rang out as she propped up Annie in one of the chairs at the table. After she did, Julia shifted to the other side of the table, kissing Nate as the two sat down together. At the sight of that, Annie felt another twinge of unease, seeing Nate kiss this stranger, but compared to everything else she was feeling it somewhat slipped by. Now the two just talked, joked with each other, not giving the slightest attention to the doll positioned at the other side of the table. Out of the corner of her eye, Annie could see Holly was in the living room, draped over the back of the couch, still in her red dress from the night before. Even from where she sat, it was clear to Annie that Holly was just a doll at the moment, and laid there arched over the couch like any other object. After that, all Annie could do was sit there, trying to think of how she could get out of here, but then, Julia started to get up from the table. “That was great, baby, and last night was amazing too, but I do still have a job I’d like to not get fired from. It’s only a Thursday you know,” she said with a bright smile, with Nate standing up from the table as well. “Aww, do you really need to leave so soon? Annie’s gonna get lonely without you.” Nate said as he pulled the girl into a loose embrace. At that, Julia just chuckled and moved to the door. “That’s what she’s got her lady love for,” she joked, motioning to Holly as she began to walk out. “I’ll see you tonight loverboy!”And at that, she was gone.

After a moment, Nate sighed, sitting back down at the table, looking down at his phone as he did. After sipping his coffee for a few moments, he didn’t even care to look up at the Annie, who was still positioned in the chair across from him. Finishing his drink, he sighed again, mumbling to himself something Annie couldn’t make out. With that, Nate leaned back in his chair, looking over to Annie, lifting his hand and snapping his fingers as he did. In a sudden rush, Annie could feel something course through her, and a second later she felt herself blink. ‘I..I can move!’ she thought to herself as she looked down at herself, moving her hands as she did. “I guess I have some explaining to do, eh?” Nate said in a happy tone from across the table, Annie looking up as he did. “How did you..” Annie began frantically, but Nate quickly cut her off. “Magic,” he said dryly, “and don’t expect a better answer than that, it’s a long story with no good answer. Plus, the results speak for themselves.” He motioned towards Annie before pointing back at Holly as well, who was immobile as ever. After a moment, Annie stood up, putting her hands on her head as she did; “No, no, no. Nate, this isn’t right! I’m a person, I’m not just your doll, I’m-“ at that, Nate cut her off again, slowly standing from his chair as he did. “No, no. You’re Julia’s doll, remember? Not exactly mine. For now anyway, I’m not sure what I want to do about that girl.” He said as casually as ever. Annie only seemed to get more frustrated at that. “I wasn’t yours to give away in the first place, Nate! I’m not a toy!” Nate grinned, “Well you’re not much of a real girl either.” He walked up to Annie, lifting her chin up as he did. “Well then real girl, let’s see how you do without strings.” At that, Annie’s face returned to the same slight smile from the night before, and she felt her legs go limp. Annie collapsed into a pile over the floor, her plush torso landing on its side with a soft thump. Nate began to walk to the kitchen for a moment, out of Annie’s grounded view, and a moment later she could hear Nate walking up behind her. “Come on, I want to show you something then.”

Nate lowered himself to the ground, scooping Annie into his arms as he did. He sat her up, supporting her weight atop her buckled legs, and began to lift up her shirt from behind. Annie internally locked up in shock as he lifted her blouse over her head, her arms flopping to her sides as each fell free from the shirt. “Oh God, what is he doing?” Annie’s now naked torso was featureless, with only the occasional seam marking her bare torso. From behind, Annie could feel Nate’s touch holding her up, but now she felt something else doing along the stitching on her back; scissors. Slowly, Nate snipped some of the threads along the seam, starting from her mid-back and working up. To Annie, this didn’t hurt, but the feeling of her being unraveled like this set her on edge. A moment later, she felt an opening in her back, hearing Nate speak from behind her. “Believe it or not, I don’t think I could do this with a real girl,” and at that he reached into the crease, feeling around in Annie’s stuffing. Annie sat in awe of what she was feeling, as Nate’s hand moved along her insides. He moved his hand up, reaching into her head, and at that he began to make Annie look around. Puppeting Annie so she was facing him now, Nate chuckled. “I think you have more in common with a hand puppet than a real girl at this rate Annie.” At that, Nate retracted his hand, letting her slouch over as he did. Annie felt the warmth of Nate’s hand leave her, feeling like her mind returned to normal at last. Annie shuttered at the thought, but having Nate control her like that felt…good. It reminded her of how she felt when Holly and Julia had been carrying her around, but even thinking that came as a shock to Annie, and she was quick to shake it off.

Standing up now, Nate snapped again and Annie could feel the slit in her back resew itself. “Ok now, funs over, stand up,” he said to Annie. As he did Annie felt herself standing up. She didn’t try to, but she felt herself quickly lift herself from her slouched position on the floor as if a string had jerked her upwards. At that, Nate walked in front of her, looking down at her as she stood at attention with the same doll grin on her face. “Now, what was that about not being a toy again?” He said with a grin. “Just be glad I didn’t put you on a shelf or give you to my niece, ok? I’ve got work, but something tells me you’ll be here when I get home. And don’t try to leave, the door is sealed magically.” At that, Nate leaned in and kissed Annie passionately, tilting her head up as she did. Feeling Nate like that again, Annie hated it and loved it. She wanted to punch him in the face after everything he’d done, but feeling his warmth move through her like that almost made her cloth knees buckle. Before she realized it, Nate was gone, with Annie staring blankly as her head remained tilted up from the kiss.

Annie stood there for a while, reveling in the mixed emotions of what she just felt. The apartment was quiet; all Annie could hear was the distant sounds of traffic from the streets below. ‘This is going to be a long afternoon,’ she grimaced to herself as she stood there. Some time passed; at least a few hours, and Annie just stood there lost in thought about the about everything that had happened, but without warning she felt something scoop her up from behind. “Look what I found! Who would leave something this cute just lying around,” Annie heard as she felt herself being spun around in someone’s arms. It was Holly, and she was human! Annie tried to speak up, but nothing came out as Holly dragged her over to the couch. “Looks like you’ve had a busy morning, eh honey?” Holly chirped as she sat down on the couch, positioning Annie so she was straddling her. ‘Ugh, who isn’t going to man-handle me today’ Annie grimaced to herself as Holly brushed her red hair out of her face. Looking up at her, Holly continued to joke. “I really wish you had a pull string so I could hear that sweet voice of yours, babe.” She said with a small laugh. “Oh well, this will have to do.” At that, Holly snapped her fingers and Annie felt a familiar energy run through her. She could move! Blinking for a moment, Annie looked down in shock. “Holly, how did you do that?” Holly just looked up with a smile. “Let’s just say some of Nate’s magic wore off on me over the years. I can’t do my own, but I sure as heck can play around with some of Nate’s spells.” At that, Annie’s eyes went wide. Lowering herself off Holly to the couch, Annie took the girl’s hand excitedly. “So you can get us out of here! You can change me back to normal!” Holly, momentarily sad that Annie had climbed off her, looked over and spoke up. “Not really. I can kinda manipulate the spells on you and me, but owner is the only one who could change something permanently.” Annie dropped her arms to her side in disappointment. ‘Of course, it all comes back to Nate’ she thought to herself before Holly chimed in again. “Even if I could, why would I though? I like you this way,” she said as she inched towards Annie on the couch. Annie stopped her short; “But don’t you want to leave? To go back to living a normal life!?” For a moment, Holly stopped in thought, before looking back to Annie. “No, not really. I mean I did ask Nate to make me like this.” Annie sat there shocked. “You what? How, why would you-“ Holly put a finger on Annie’s lips. “Shhh, that’s a story for another time. For now, I just want some quality time with my girlfriend, and from the looks of it you do too,” Holly said with a little laugh, motioning at Annie’s shirt, which was still on the kitchen floor. Annie didn’t even realize she was still shirtless; there wasn’t much to hide, but she still felt embraced. “Holly, no, this whole girlfriend is just a misunderstanding, I-“ Holly stopped Annie midsentence, pulling Annie’s light frame back onto her lap with ease and kissing her.

Holly broke the kiss slowly, running her hand through Annie’s hair as she did. Annie was speechless; the kiss was everything she remembered from the first time and more; she heard Holly speak up. “I know you’re not really my girlfriend, just like you’re not really my servant girl. But you’re a doll, we’re dolls. So let me play pretend with my dolly, will ya?” Annie was still lost internally in what she felt from the kiss. All she could muster from her focus was enough to say little more than an ‘Uh-huh’ but that’s all Holly needed to hear. Annie felt her mobility fade as her face settled to her dollish slight grin, and at that, Holly positioned Annie’s soft frame on the couch and kissed her passionately again. From there, Holly wrapped her arms around the toy, kissing her rapidly as she pressed herself into her. Holly ran her hands over her new doll, feeling up Annie’s soft frame as she did, letting her arm fall lifelessly to the side as she did. Annie knew she wasn’t in control anymore, she knew that she had to try to get out of here eventually, but for right now, she wanted to be Holly’s doll if this is what that meant. Despite it all, to just be played with felt…right, even though everything told her otherwise. Regardless, any of her doubts were eclipsed by what she felt as Holly continued to feel her up, even beginning to move one of Annie’s hands up her thigh, but before anything could happen, there was a noise at the door; keys rattling, and in a second the door was open. Holly stopped mid-kiss, looking down at Annie as she did. She smirked, sighing slightly as she heard the noise. “Looks like this’ll have to wait, dolly. But who knows, maybe I’ll have you play with me next time”. At that, she leaned in for one last kiss, her skin quickly turning back to cloth as she did. In a second, the girl who was just playing with Annie was just a doll once again, still sprawled out over Annie.

Julia walked through the door of Nate’s apartment happily. ‘An easy day at work, and now I get to have some fun, what more could I want?’ she though. As she walked down the hall into the kitchen, it was clear enough Nate was still gone at work. ‘Oh well, that just means I finally have a chance to play with my gift!’ she thought to herself giddily. “Oh Annie, I’m home!” she called out playfully as she set her things on the dining room table, but that’s when something caught her eye. “Oh wow,” she said to herself, chuckling as she walked into the living room. There, Holly and Annie were posed as if they were making out, with the two toys on top of one another in a deep kiss. ‘I wonder how long it took Nate to set all this up,’ she thought to herself with a laugh. At that, Julia walked up to the plushes, taking Annie’s frame from under Holly and sliding her out. “Sorry to break up the fun you two, just thought I’d borrow my new doll,” she said jokingly as she lifting Annie to her chest. At that, Julia dragged a blissfully absent minded Annie across the hardwood floor of the apartment away from the living room. “Now come on Annie, let’s go have some real fun.”
