Well, these bad boys, well, girls, are a social insectoid community. They behave differently from their Aculeata relatives, the Formian and the Abeil, in the fact they are first of all omnivorous, and secondly they have a strict honor code. Every land that is previously inhabited is sacred and the lifeforms must be preserved. They are forever grateful to whomever decides to let them occupy their land, and will attend the area, cultivate crops, farm animals, estabilish commerce with the locals. On the other hand, they aren't complete pushovers and they ultimately respond only to their queen. They try to merge into a society instead of taking it over.

If there is enough space, they will build a giant wood nest in a strategic point nearby and declare themselves sacred protectors of the land against any invading force. They are not easy to declare war but they would never surrender, especially if invaded. Their military efforts are oriented to defense first and foremost, but if they will attack too to defeat the enemy if that would end the war.

There always are from five to twenty princesses living among them, depending by the size of the colony, and when the queen becomes infertile, the princesses compete in different tasks to prove their superiority to become the new queen. The losers loose their status and can decide to stay as workers or take a small number of workers and create a new colony, if they have a new territory. The winner gets the right to consume the royal jelly that the workers emit from their forehead. This triggers her puberty, slowly turning them to a complete queen. The previous queen birthed males several cycles before becoming infertile, that now have reached fertility. The new queen mates only with who deems worthy, and stores the sperm into a special gland inside her, that she will use to make the new generation of Vespians. The males, contrary to the wasp ones, fully contribute to society and especially to the rising of the new generation, making for great paternal figures.

Lastly, Vespians can be told apart by the different patterns on their exoskeleton, varying in colors and shapes (even though they tend to mimic the colors of the queen, drones more strictly than workers). Princesses vary greatly from each other, to be more distinguishable.

When building TIMSDALE and any other chaos harvesting colony, the chaos mafia had a problem. How were they going to create a secluded area of individuals and at the same time ensuring their survival? The Vespians came to the rescue.

By making a pact with queen Pacifica Sulphureales (-les is a suffix meaning "daughter/son of"), they promised to let Vespian settle in every one of their colony, with the promise to satisfy most requests of all the creatures that they will bring there, with exceptions of course.
