Lost in the foggy thickets
the storm was to come soon
since weren't chirping the crickets
clouds were strangling the moon
And then from the top of a plum
a shadow on the bough's edge
soughed with a tone quite glum
his whisper, a doom pledge
Who

the woods were turning into a moor
the trees were becoming more scarce
though I wasn't totally sure
I preferred a landscape so stark
Suddenly a flash and a thunder
outlined a sinister shape on a tree
That made me suddenly ponder
"He's not following me, it can't be!"
But indeed he was staring at me
piercing my heart and my soul both
then he emitted a cruel decree
his call, a despair oath
Who

Tree branches were scratching my face
while the roots tried to make me trip
'cause trying to flee from the chase
foolishly in the forest I went deep
Thousands of specters were howling
their voices a scream in the gale
They were also furiously banging
far away, maybe in a dark dale
on the hell gate they were clanging
but it clearly didn't want to budge
cause their tears were fouling
the air and the earth with grudge
There, terrified, I was prowling
and when swiftly upwards I looked
he was there, with his melting stare
he glared at me, with his head all crooked
to make a move i couldn't even dare
I felt wrapped in his web, like a veil
his death song then started and grew
his screech, a demonic wail
