“He’s alive,” Opal came back into the room breathing a sigh of relief. “I’m not sure of his condition but the car crashed into a tree.” She explained. She then turned to Zachary. “This game has gone on long enough, people are getting hurt, Rodney’s car is totaled and two people are trapped inside a magical deck.”
“I know!” Zachary clapped with excitement. “There’s been so much drama and we’re only on day two. I had no idea it would turn out this way.”
Opal looked at Zachary with wide eyes. “How can you be happy with this? You’re a monster!”
“Well I’m not human,” Zachary reminded her. “I’m sure the way we see things is completely different.” Opal scowled at them with that response.
“I’m going to go up to the hospital, you two better stay out of trouble,” she shot Caleb a look as she grabbed her car keys and drove off.
Zachary looked over at Caleb and then down at the unconscious Tara. “Now I wonder why you chose that.” They gave him a knowing look. “Well I should go and do whatever it is you do.” They headed towards the front door and paused to look back. “See you tomorrow.”
With that Caleb was left alone in Opal’s body with Zachary and Tara’s body slumped over the table. He sat down at the table and looked at the deck knowing Tara and Molly were locked away. With the trick Zachary had shown him he could keep them there for the rest of the game. His original plan to keep playing every single turn would’ve kept Molly there until the last card. Though with Rodney’s body in the hospital and two empty bodies that complicated a few things.
It would be another ten hours or so before Caleb could draw again, leaving him as Opal until then. Though he might wait a full day before making another swap. He knew that the next card drawn would be Rodney’s and that would put Rodney as Opal and Zachary in Rodney’s body. He still hadn’t figured out what cards to ask for for the next round so would use this time to figure it out.
For now though Opal’s body was starving due to being left unconscious. Having the place to himself he had to look around for food. Opal had helped out this morning when he was in Tara by telling him which self belonged to each of them. While he liked how Tara looked her food choices were bland and unappealing while Opal had plenty to enjoy.
After having food, Caleb decided to explore Opal’s room, to see what outfits she had as well as her toy collection. He looked down at the bed where her curly hair had been cut off and left the mess for now. He suspected Rodney’s hidden task was to give everyone a hair cut which was a shame as he preferred Tara with longer hair. His task was a bit more perverted and he didn’t have the courage to do it yet, he also needed to find a willing partner. As he looked at himself in the mirror he figured Molly would probably be the best body for what he was required to do, but he had a promising moment in Tara.
Caleb smiled as he took off Opal’s dress. He knew the first swap he was going to ask for in the morning. There were a couple of problems with his plan, he knew how to solve one and could use that to solve the other.
The wicked thoughts in Caleb’s mind had gotten him excited as he groped Opal’s large breasts. He examined Opal’s body further making comparisons to the mornings spent as Tara. He wasn’t physically attracted to her but it still felt somewhat nice being in this body compared to his original. He was going to take advantage of the time he spent in it. He also thought about using it as practice for applying makeup and other things.
The following morning, Caleb waited eagerly for Zachary to show up. He only had a nightgown on and nothing underneath. His face was a mess of colour after trying to remove the poorly applied make up. It looked like he had had a rough night but didn’t care, he’d be out of Opal soon enough and back into Tara.
From his experience with Opal he wasn’t sure how swapping into Tara would feel, she had been left empty longer than Opal had, and had spent the night on the floor. Caleb had tried moving her but the dead weight proved to be difficult to move by himself. Zachary’s body was in a worse position though being slumped over on the table still.
Caleb had finished making the requests to the deck when he finally heard the door ring. He approached without a care as to how he looked and opened the door for Zachary. Zachary looked at him and smiled. “Have fun?” He asked before walking over to the deck.
Without responding to Zachary, Caleb walked over to the deck and drew the card he knew was waiting for him. It was Rodney again as he knew Zachary wouldn’t be a threat in his body. Now Rodney was out of the hospital and in Opal’s body while Caleb was back in his.
“You little shit!” Rodney looked around. “I was in a car crash because of you!”
“That was Tara’s fault for taking my turn for me while I wasn’t here” Caleb defended himself. “How are you doing anyway?” Caleb didn’t care too much but he figured false sympathy could earn him some points.
“I’ll live,” Rodney spat back the anger dissipating a little.
“Good because I wanted to continue our discussion from the other morning,” Caleb wasted no time as he drew a card swapping them all one spot to the left.
Caleb felt stiff and hungry as he pulled himself up off the floor. Opal stirred only feeling a little sore as she was back in Zachary’s body.
“Wait, does that mean my body is empty in a hospital?” Rodney took a look at the situation. “They’re going to think I’m in a coma.”
Caleb didn’t say anything as his mouth was dry as he walked over to the deck and drew the trapped Molly. It was a gamble with two bodies empty but if she was in the game she should’ve been in Rodney’s body so he hoped that’s the one she’d end up in and with Opal’s body not moving, he was right. The question was how much did she know?
