“Who was that?” Opal asked as she laid down on the couch with an ice pace on her head. She was now shirtless and was only wearing pants. She would’ve taken them off too if she had anything else to get dressed into.
“The girl from last night,” Caleb entered the room with a grin.
“The girl from last night?” Opal tilted her head confused wondering who he was talking about. It didn’t help that she felt awful. It felt like she had the worst migraine in her life mixed with the flu but her body was perfectly fine. “You mean the person Tara is in? Tara is here?” She realised.
“Of course she’s here,” Caleb smirked.
“Where is she then?” Opal sat up slowly and looked down that hall only to see no one else was here. “Haha very funny,” she realised what Caleb meant. “Why did she leave?”
“Because I told her to,” Caleb shrugged playfully. He omitted the threats and the lie he had told Tara in regards to Opal.
“And she just went along with it?” Opal was doubtful but her head was spinning and she found it hard to focus.
“I made a good argument about it being the weekend and that it’s better if we get used to being in each other’s bodies for a full day as it’ll happen during the week. She wasn’t happy but she knows I have you to keep an eye on me.” Caleb knew full well that Opal wasn’t thinking clearly and that she had always seen the good in people.
“Oh.. okay…” Opal didn’t have the energy to grill Caleb further as she fell back down on the couch and closed her eyes.
“Now if you’ll excuse me, I just came back from my morning exercise and I need a shower… or a bath…” Caleb stated as he walked towards Tara’s bedroom.
“Caleb I don’t think that’s appropriate…” is all Opal managed to say to deter Caleb from such an action. “Maybe you should just take your turn now. The other girl is still stuck in the deck and my body hasn’t had someone in it since last night.” She suggested it for the third time this morning.
“Yep, I’ll get right on that,” Caleb yelled back from down the hallway. He had already taken Tara’s bra off and was admiring his new body. He was curious in what it would be like to be the other woman Tara was in, but he was enjoying this one too much he never wanted to leave.

“Don’t you think it’s odd?” Rodney asked as he took a drink from his coffee before spitting it back out into the cup. It tasted terrible though he suspected that had more to do with who he was currently and not the quality of it. ‘Oh well’ he shrugged internally as it wasn’t his money who paid for it.
“What is?” Tara asked, sitting across the table drinking the smoothie that Rodney recommended. She only found out just before she ordered that Molly was lactose intolerant, something Rodney forgot to indicate on the sheet he had done up for her.
“Caleb sneaking back into your house in the middle of the night to take his turn.” He pushed the coffee to the middle of the table. “He was already in his own body and how did he get in?”
Tara looked up from her drink and put it down. She was playing all the possible scenarios in her head. Caleb had lied about something coming up, yet had keys to her house. He also refused to let either of them in, using threats to send them away.
“The guy is a creep, I’ll give you that,” Tara nodded. “After we first swapped he seemed too eager not to play anymore, trying to say he was saving the rest of you at our expense.” The thought of them stopping there made her skin crawl.
“He was enjoying being you a little too much last night,” Rodney confirmed, though he neglected the part where he was enjoying Caleb being Tara. “This morning too.”
“I’m glad you said something and it’s not just me thinking that,” Tara breathed a sigh of relief before the horror of the situation kicked in.
“But that’s what I find odd,” Rodney brought the conversation back around. “He snuck into your house when everyone else was asleep then he just so happens to get your body.” Rodney paused for a moment and looked into Molly’s blue eyes. “What are the chances?”
Tara froze as she took in what was being said. “Hmm,” she raised her hand up to her face and thought. “You’re saying he knew he’d swap with me?” Tara’s eyes widened. “How?”
“I don’t know,” Rodney admitted as he reached across the table and grabbed Molly’s hand. She let it sit there for a moment before quickly pulling back. “I’m sorry…” Rodney shook his head. “I forgot myself for the moment and you are in my girlfriend’s body.”
“Oh…” is all Tara managed to mutter as she looked down at her body. While she was looking down she felt the presence of two people walk over and stand over them.
“Is this guy bothering you?” An overweight guy with a scruffy beard asked.
“What have we said about harassing women, Calle?” The other asked as they stood behind Rodney pushing their hands down on his shoulders. “Or do we need to teach you a lesson again?”
It soon became apparent where Caleb had received his black eye and bruises. She was sure Rodney could easily take these two in a fight but not in Caleb’s body. “He’s not being a bother,” Tara informed them. “Now please leave,” she pulled out Molly’s phone and began recording. She looked around at the rest of the cafe and saw the other patrons turn their heads while the staff pretended not to notice anything.
“Fine…” the guy let go of Rodney. He then turned to face Tara. “Don’t say we didn’t warn you about this creep.” He then gestured for his friend to go.
Rodney just sat there quietly, his heart was beating nervously. He had been in his fair share of fights before but when he was there was no doubt who’d come out on top. It was the same in this situation too, only this time he was the one who’d be on the losing end. “Thank you…” he muttered to Tara.
Tara watched the two guys leave as she just gained more context in the type of person Caleb was. She stood up and grabbed Rodney’s hand. “We’re going back to my place now!” She demanded as she practically dragged Rodney out of the cafe behind her.
