Desperate Petitions; Transformed People, this is the Court of Queen Quilane.
“Her majesty, the benevolent Quilane,” a small creature announced with a trumpet.
A rainbow came through the hole in the ceiling and shone down on the wooden throne. Flying down what a mostly human looking being with lavender skin, solid glowing green eyes, dark purple hair that was longer than her entire body. She had large wings that mostly resembled a Butterfly’s. They were mostly purple like her hair with an elegant pattern of blues and pinks and sparkled like they were covered in glitter. Atop her head was a crown made of flowers and she wore a long golden dress.
The queen Fairy landed on her throne and took a relaxed and disinterested position, she lent sideways with her legs tucked beneath her, as she rested her head on her four fingered fist. A small attendant flew towards her carrying a bowl of fruit while a smaller one grabbed a few berries that were as big as it and placed them directly in the queen’s mouth.
“Let’s get this over with…” she sighed with a voice that sounded like music. “I shall see three beings today..” she raised her long and slender fingers on her other hand. This causes a ruckus in the court as there were at least twenty petitioners waiting to have their fate undone. “Silence…” the Queen commanded in a booming voice causing the room to go quiet. Not because they wanted to but because their mouths disappeared. “You all came to me, with your plights and it is my generosity that will see them undone. I will have no complaining or begging in my court. If these terms do not suit you, you can simply leave.” She sat up straighter now with both hands resting on her thrones’ arms. “You there, step forward.” She pointed to a young man.
The man hesitated, not sure if the queen was referring to him. He was also too nervous to move. He pointed to himself and would’ve asked if she meant for him if he could talk.
“Too slow…” Quilane lost her patience with him. “You, step forward.” She pointed at a woman at the other end of the room. This woman had the sense to quickly power walk into the center of the room, standing for all to see. “How can I, your ever so generous Queen, help you today?”
“It’s ah…” the woman realized she was hesitating and was about to blow her chance. “A random guy was turned into my pussy…” her face went red as she announced this in front of a room of strangers.
“Then why do you not have him here with you?” The queen returned to her relaxed position as her attendants fed her fruit once more. “I will not undo something unless it is in this room. So reveal them or step aside.”
The woman’s face went even more red with embarrassment. She didn’t want to do this but she couldn’t live another moment of this man as her genitals. So she pulled down her skirt, flashing the queen and revealing her ass to those standing behind her.
“What’s this?” The Queen glared down at her, her mood between annoyed and intrigued.
“A pussy, while a cat is also a term humans use for the female reproductive organ…” another fairy spoke up reading from a scroll.
“So how did this happen?” the Queen waved her hand in the woman’s direction. The woman went to pull her skirt backup but a look from the queen made her stop.
“I don’t know… he bumped into me… was being really rude so I called him a cunt. The next thing I know I feel a strange sensation and I hear him screaming in my head.”
“Cunt?” The queen tilted her head to the attendant with the scroll.
“Another term for the female reproductive organ.”
“Humans are so weird…” the Queen made an off-handed comment before returning her gaze to the woman. “So you called him a cunt and he became a cunt, it sounds like you wanted this to happen…”
“What… No!” the woman snapped back but quickly silenced herself when the queen glared at her. “It was figurative, I didn’t actually mean he was one and especially not mine.”
“Literal and figurative, there’s no difference in my realm,” the Queen waved off. She then stared at the woman as she pondered what to do. “Very well mortal, how would you have me solve your situation?”
“I don’t want the guy to be my pussy anymore…” the woman answered.
“Very well, by the generosity of your queen, it shall be done,” the Queen aimed her hands at the woman’s crotch as energy came out of her fingertips.
The woman blinked and looked down to see the genitals on the floor while she had smooth skin. “What? No…! I didn’t mean like…” her rant was cut off as her mouth vanished once again.
“Such an ungrateful mortal,” the Queen shot daggers at her. “One hundred years in the mines will teach you some respect.” The woman was escorted out of the throne room leaving the transformed man laying on the floor. “Put that thing in the vault.” She instructed. An attendant flew down and picked it up before flying out of the room.
The rest of the court was even more quiet now. They all had hoped to get their transformations undone but they had now seen that the Queen wasn’t as fair and generous as they had been led to believe.
“You, the person with the dog… step forward.” She pointed out a man holding a cowering small dog. He quickly obliged.
“Your majesty, my sister was turned into a dog by her former best friend, can you please undo this change?” The man was almost begging but quickly caught himself.
“Hmm… no…” the Queen shrugged him off, hiding a smile.
The man was about to have an outburst and demand she wouldn’t undo the transformation before remembering the previous woman. “May I ask why not?” He tried to be civil through gritted teeth.
“Clearly you mortals don’t respect my generosity. I offer three of you the chance to fix your plights and the rest of you complain, I asked someone to step forward who was too slow in responding, then I obliged with a request only for them to get angry,” the queen answered as she was about to fly off.
“I’m sorry if we’ve offended you,” the man knelt down, taking responsibility for the group. “You are correct we haven’t been grateful, so is there anything I can offer you to change her back?”
The Queen sat back down on her chair. “What could a mortal possibly offer me?” she enquired.
The man stumbled over his thoughts wondering what he could give the queen. “Nothing… except myself…” he realized.
“You already belong to me,” the Queen tilted her head. “So you’re correct I cannot offer you anything…” He was about to ask what she meant when he heard someone clear their voice.
“My queen pardon the interruption,” a leprechaun stepped forward from the crowd. “If the lad wants his sister’s humanity returned I’m happy to help them earn the gold. I’m always looking for new racing animals, and they’ll be perfect.”
“Very well, I’ll give them to you, once they earn fifty gold, I’ll turn the sister back,” the Queen shook the leprechaun’s hand. As she did the man also transformed into a dog and before he knew what was happening the leprechaun was taking both of them away.
“The court is now closed!” An attendant blew the trumpet.
The remaining petitioners looked around confused and angry, they had been promised three and the queen had only given two. Not only that the two petitions she answered weren’t what they wanted at all, leaving some to dread their turn.
“Send all the remaining petitioners to the gardens, I’ll summon them again when I find myself in a generous mood,” the Queen instructed as those who remained turned into hollow statues. They all found themselves in a field of countless other statues, worn down and weathered by time.
The queen would eventually feel generous enough to entertain new petitions but not to them. As for the others who had their wishes granted. While the woman would eventually work her time in the mines, the disrespect she had shown her queen had sealed her mouth permanently. After winning a few dog races, the man’s sister would find her humanity returned but his would not as that wasn’t a part of the deal.
