My stomach growled, I was starving and without a mouth I wasn’t able to eat. Sarina had tried to alter me again to restore my mouth and how I should look but the edits she made on the computer weren’t able to be affected by her magic. She was too low on energy to be able to put me back into the laptop for now, so I was stuck like this until the following morning.

“Good thing I saved a copy of you,” Sarina praised herself for her forward thinking. “Though before I put you back in, I want to try something. Can you log your phone into the wifi and video call me? This is an important step for my main goal I want to test.”

I nodded and after some set up I was ready. In the video chat Sarina summoned energy then she put her arm into the laptop, it reached out through my phone’s screen and pulled me in. I found myself back in the laptop. My phone was still connected, which to me worked like a window and I was able to jump back and forth between the two devices. Sarina moved me into the folder she saved my copy.

“That took a lot out of me, so we’ve only got one shot of this today,” Sarina stated. She tried to put me into the copy’s body but it didn’t work that way so instead she opened up the editing program again and copied the copy’s appearance over mine. “There…” Sariana cheered and pulled me back out of the computer.

“Sarina, I was male when you sent me in!” I wasn’t able to talk when I could move and the editing program had me in a paused state so I wasn’t able to bring this issue up before. She had just overridden me with my female body.

“It’s okay I’ll just revert you….” Sarina began channeling the energy but found herself unable to change this body. The edits were now permanent, like the others before. “Hmm, that could be a problem…”

We stood there thinking about a possible solution. I tried my best not to think about if we didn’t come up with one as that would mean I’d have no identity and could get home and my parents wouldn’t know what happened to me and that was too much to think about. Sarina and I found ourselves in a bind before, and we were able to get out of it.

“Wait… you’ve turned into me before…” I realised a solution. “You can turn into me again and then save my form as a copy on the computer, you can then edit me again.”

“That could work!” Sarina agreed as she tried to turn herself into me, though after putting me into the machine she wasn’t able to complete the transformation, she barely took any of my features. “This isn’t going to work,” she looked down at her body. “Digitising someone is too much, I can’t transform into you and digitise myself on the same day. At least not yet. Maybe if I did it more but with how much energy I just burnt through, I don’t see me being able to get it done before our isolation ends.”

The rest of the day we were both in a sour mood, we couldn’t figure this out, meaning I was screwed. I still believed there was some solution for this problem though, we just needed to figure it out.

* * * * *

The next morning we were back to problem solving. We had two days before the isolation ended, so we could at least do two more trips into the computer. We knew Sarina didn’t have the energy to do what we needed to in the time we needed her to do it. So our problem was resolving the time constraints.

“Wait… I don’t need you to make me, me” I realized. Sarina tilted her head and waited for an explanation. “We can swap bodies, we’ve done it before. So until we figure this out, all you need to do is turn me into a copy of yourself and then we switch bodies after you turn into me.” It wasn’t an elegant solution but it was one that could work.

“But then we’d be living each other’s lives and my magic will revert us back… I also won’t have access to my magic in your body so I won’t be able to practice building up the energy,” Sarina began poking holes in my plan. “We’d also be trapped on the other side of the world if that does work.”

“Then we just pull ourselves back through…” I was sure this could work but Sarina wasn’t convinced.

“We’d need to maintain the connection and I’m not sure if I can even put us both into the computer on the same day, I’m not getting better at it, I should’ve never tried it.” Sarina kept dismissing my ideas though I could see that it got the ball rolling. “Body swapping could work though, transforming you has been a lot of fun, you’re very open to it. I also know you like how you look at the moment, you just can’t stay that way without screwing up your life.” Sarina stated as she examined me. “I could convince you to swap bodies with someone and then turn them into you, but before that I save their appearance so I can turn you into them.” Sarina looked down with a hint of sorrow. “Though it needs to be someone I can contact easily and switch you back with whenever I want to revert changes and someone who doesn’t want me to transform them….” her mood grew more somber. “I know the perfect person… just give me a moment..” Sarina took the laptop to the room and shut the door.

I waited patiently in the kitchen and began playing with my boobs. I couldn’t believe how much I had been naked the past several days. It’s not something I would’ve usually done but while I enjoyed it I didn’t see this as my body nor anyone else’s and I was relaxed around Sarina, for the most part. I heard yelling coming from the bedroom as a redheaded woman barged out of the room, she was also naked. She was a little older but it was the woman from the photo I saw that got me into trouble.

“I can’t believe you mom!” She yelled at Sarina. “I’ve already had to take over Becky’s life because of what you did to her, now you want me to play along with this scenario.” The angry woman stopped short of colliding into me and sized me up as she crossed her arms to cover herself. “So you’re my mother’s new play thing?” She sneered.

“Mum?” I tilted my head confused as to what was going on. In the photo she and Sarina looked the same age. The only way Sarina could’ve been her mother is if she was the lady in the wheelchair. That was possible given the last two weeks but I didn’t think the black hair woman that resembled Sarina and the woman standing in front of me looked like sisters. “Who are you?” I asked for clarification.

“The name’s Sarina, but you can call me Becky…” She studied me for my reaction. “Oh, you’re totally clueless aren’t you…” Her tone was insulting. “Let me explain it to you then…” her mouth vanished before she could say another word. She turned back towards Sarina and gave her a glare.

“Don’t you say another word, Becky…” Sarina warned in a cold tone, not that ‘Becky’ could. “Sorry about, BECKY…” Sarina said as she turned towards me with a softer tone. However the way she said Becky’s name seemed more to remind this so called Becky that was her name, not me. “She’s a little deranged, I shouldn’t have tried this with her but she was the only person I could think of.”

I could see Becky fuming behind Sarina. She was trying to yell, though I wasn’t sure who at. Her fists were clenched so tight as she started hitting herself in frustration for not being able to say what she wanted to say. She was ready to strangle Sarina but every time she stepped close enough to grab her she turned around knowing it wasn’t a smart idea.

“What is going on?” I asked a little more harshly than I intended. “Who is she? Why was she in that photo? Why did she call you mum? And why did she refer to herself as Sarina?!” I wanted to know the answers. Becky looked at me and pointed, indicating I was asking the right questions.

Sarina grabbed me by the shoulders and looked me dead in the eyes. “Do you really want to know the answers to those questions?” She asked extremely serious. “You might not like what I have to tell you.”
