Lisa cursed herself for drawing the short straw to do the grocery run. Normally she and her roommates would buy there own thing but with the current situation they all thought it was best that just one of them went. It was eerie walking through the supermarket with half the shelves were stripped. It also made doing the shopping for four very individual people a bigger challenge.

"Look, I know the brand you want Joan, you wrote it down on the list but I'm telling you it's not here," Lisa spoke to her phone resting in the seat of the trolley. She had given up after five minutes of being in the store that she decided to call her roommates and put them on speaker while she did the shopping.

"I called up before you got there, they had it in stock," Joan complained on the other end of the phone.

"Well they don't have any now, why didn't you ask for them to put it aside?" Lisa suggested in hindsight as she continued to browse the shelf.

"They won't set anything aside at the moment, are you sure it's not there? I need it to keep up with my diet you know," Joan was getting annoyed at the situation.

"Do you want me to video call and show you the shelves..." Lisa began when she spotted a familiar looking package behind an empty box. "Oh wait, found one it was hidden at the back." Lisa reached for the glutton free pasta and looked around as she placed it in the trolley. She spotted someone at the service desk watching her. "You spoke to Max on the phone didn't you?" Lisa inquired.

"How did you know?" Joan's voice was a little flustered.

"Because he's waving at me. He must've hidden it to make sure no one would find it. Please don't tell me you flirted with him to get him to do that." Lisa accused Joan. There was silence from Joan but she heard snickering from her other roommates. "Please don't lead him on like that, he's my sister's girlfriend's brother. I'm going to get crap from them later over this."

"Who says she was leading him on?" Cynthia suggested. "Maybe Joan really does like him," she teased before laughing. "Her face has gone so red!"

"I'm getting back to the shopping now," Lisa stated as she tried to ignore Cynthia teasing Joan. "Remember I've got this on loud speaker." That made them be quiet.

Lisa continued down the isles, slowly getting what everyone needed. She kept the phone on speaker so she could clarify certain brands and find substitutes when those brands were missing. Her phone warned her that it had a low battery towards the end of her shopping.

"My phone's going flat, I've just got the toilet paper left to buy, I'm sure I can figure that out on my own," Lisa said as she hung up the phone and put it away in her purse. Unfortunately the isle had been cleared, except for one four pack up on a high shelf. There was also an old woman, dressed in what Lisa could only describe as rags, searching for some toilet paper. Luckily for Lisa, the old woman hadn't seen the last packed hidden on the top shelf. When Max came down the isle with a stepping stool, Lisa knew why it was there.

Max pretended not to notice the old lady when he grabbed the pack down for Lisa. "Here you go, last packet," Max smiled pretending he didn't know Lisa.

"Excuse me, but I was here first!" The lady snapped at both of them, she walked over to Lisa and tried to snatch the packet from her hands.

"Sorry lady, but I live in a house with four other people. I need these," Lisa said as she held the toilet paper out of reach. "You're just going need to go find some elsewhere."

"Fine! You have the stupid rolls!" The lady snapped as she walked down the isle past Lisa and Max. She then turned back around and looked at Lisa with a wicked grin. "Though if you do keep them, they'll be the last rolls you or anyone that uses them will ever need to buy."

"Did you just threaten me?" Lisa asked as she put the rolls into the trolley and she walked up to the lady.

"I was just explaining what would happen if you kept them, it wasn't a threat," the woman promised. "Though unlike you, I'm going to be generous and promise something else, use those rolls and you won't get sick either."

"I don't have time for this crazy nonsense, I'm out of here," Lisa walked back to her trolley and went to leave.

"Tell Joan, I'll see her this weekend," Max said to Lisa as she walked off. Lisa nodded and went to leave the store. She then heard the old lady yelling at Max, correctly accusing him of doing a favour for Lisa. She ignored it as that was Max and Joan's problem, not hers.

* * * * *

Two days later the girls had almost used up their previous supply of toilet paper. Lisa hadn't bothered to tell her roommates about the old lady or the threat she gave her about using the rolls. As far as Lisa was concerned it was the lady's crazy attempt to scare her into handing them over. The comment about not getting sick was probably making fun of those people who stockpiled the stuff for a repertory illness.

Stacey was the oldest of the girls and was the one who found the house. She had the first pick of the rooms and she took the one with the en-suite. Paying the extra rent was well worth it for the private bathroom. She usually had her own supply of toiletries but with the shortage she had lent a couple of rolls to the others and now she was out herself. Without asking she opened the packet Lisa bought and took what she was owed. She went back to her room and used her private toilet.

Cynthia used up the finally used up the last of the toilet paper but didn't bother putting a new roll on. She washed her hands and returned to her room.

"Hello!" Joan called out a while later. "A little help!" She cried out louder. "Someone used the rest of the toilet paper and didn't replace it." Cynthia heard Joan calling out but felt too guilty to help.

Lisa signed as Joan continued to call out and went to the cupboard they kept their supplies. She wasn't impressed when she saw the package was already open. She grabbed the roll and knocked on the toilet door. "Delivery" she said.

"Thank you," Joan replied as she awkwardly opened the door and reached for the roll.

Lisa didn't say another word to Joan and headed to Stacey's bedroom, though her door was locked. "Stacey, open up!" Lisa demanded but the door remained locked. "I know you did us a favour by lending us your toilet paper, but we agreed while there was a shortage we'd only use the one toilet. So either return the roll or we'll be using yours as well!" Lisa chastised through the door. "Fine ignore me, though next time you can do your own goddamn shopping!" Lisa stormed off back down the hall and spotted Joan running to her room in a panic.

Stacey lied in bed looking up at the ceiling, hearing Lisa yell at her. She couldn't move and when she tried to yell out for help she didn't make a sound. Somehow her body had vanished and now she was just a head, laying on her bed.

"Joan, are you alright?" Lisa asked through her door.

"I'm fine!" Joan replied in an a tone that made it hard to believe her.

"Whatever," Lisa muttered to herself and walked away, accepting that Joan didn't want her help with whatever problem she had.

Joan stood near her nightstand holding her vanity mirror, aiming it at her crotch for a better look. "This isn't real," she muttered in disbelief as she touched the sealed skin. As she touched the fused labia it began to fade further until there was nothing but smooth skin as if she never had any genitals to begin with. There wasn't even a hole she could pee from. She moved the mirror some more and noticed that wasn't the only thing that was gone. "My asshole is gone too?" Her lips stuck together more with each word. "Mphmm," she tried opening her mouth again but this time it wouldn't budge. Her vision also grew more dim and narrow and she struggled to breath with her nostrils. Joan pulled the mirror up to her face, she would've screamed if she could. Her mouth was gone and she could barely see any evidence of her lips. Her nose had vanished and she had too tiny nostrils that were trying to breath as hard as they could. The skin around her eyes were sealing too, all she could see with her narrow vision was her pupils. Then she stopped breathing and her world went dark.

"Just a minute," Lisa responded to a knock on the front door. "I'll be right there." She went to the door and opened it, to see Max nicely dressed. "Hi Max," she said with a half smile. "Come on in," she invited him inside. "Why don't you take a seat in the living room and I'll let Joan know you're here. I think she's still getting ready for your, um... stay-in date?" Lisa only just remembered they couldn't exactly go out so Max and Joan would be spending their time together here. She wish she thought of that sooner, she would've gone to her sister's otherwise.

"Thanks but before you do, we need to discuss the lady from the store... she did something to me and I think...." Max struggled with his words, he was ashamed of what had happened but he wanted to also warn Lisa and the others of the danger they were in. He would've done it sooner but her was prevented from saying anything until he entered their house.

"Hold that thought," Lisa dismissed as she felt a sudden need to go to the toilet. "I'll be right back," she promised as she rushed down the hallway.

"Lisa this is important," Max tried to say but she was already gone.

Lisa got to the bathroom and found it was locked, she knocked on the door. "Hurry up, I'm busting...." Lisa could barely hold her bladder. She breathed a sigh of relief as she heard the toilet flush, though the door didn't open straight away. "Come on, hurry up... it doesn't take that long to open the door."

She heard the door unlatch and she opened it up straight away and pulled the stunned Cynthia out of the small room, she didn't even notice her panties were still down or that she was missing a crucial body part. Lisa only cared about getting on that toilet herself. She slammed the door shut and locked it.

"I'm too late..." Cynthia heard Max say. She went red with embarrassment as she realized she was exposed. She went to say something but suddenly she felt dizzy and the world around her seemed to grow larger and a second later she could no longer, see, hear or talk. Her head felt extremely weird and as she went to touch it, she found it was completely gone. Where her neck should've connected to her body, was only smooth skin. She couldn't understand how this was possible or the fact she could still think and feel. Her heart raced, though she wasn't taking in breaths like she usually would. Then she felt Stacey grab her hand to give her comfort, though it quickly pulled away.

Max felt guilty for letting go of Cynthia, she seemed like she was still in there, despite missing her head. He couldn't help it though, his hands changed before his very eyes, as the second part of his curse began. His skin crawled and his bones realigned as they took on a more feminine look. His breasts formed rapidly and almost instantly, pushing against his button up shirt. Though he didn't know her well and only saw her in passing a few times, he recognized his new body as Stacey's. However the long blonde hair covering his vision wasn't hers, and it had the same curl that Cynthia just had. He reached down into his crotch and found it was still as flat as it had been since the old lady cursed him. Though as he rested his hand there, he felt his new genitals begin to form.

Lisa looked down at where she had wiped with shock and confusion. Her vulva had began to disappear. "What the fuck," she said with a wheezy voice. She was struggling to breath. She coughed, which hurt in a way it never had before and she wondered if she somehow got the virus. Her breath growing shallow and she coughed some more. While the disappearance of her vulva was very concerning, she needed medical help. She pulled up her panties and skirt and opened up the door staggering forward. Her eyes went wide when she saw Cynthia's body without a head and her crotch and lack of genitals exposed in front of someone she knew but didn't at the same time. This new woman had Stacey's body, Cynthia's hair and head shape with Joan's face. She also happened to be wearing the same clothes Max had on.

"What did you do to us, Max?" Lisa accused angrily. She lost her breath and bent over, coughing uncontrollably. Max grabbed her in support but she knocked him away.

"I tried to warn you, this was the old woman from the store. She did something to me and I knew you using that toilet paper would mean something bad would happen," Max tried to explain, while keeping his distance but he was ready to support Lisa as well but he doubted he could do anything for her.

Lisa continued to bend over and cough when she felt something weird and large in her throat. She continued to cough, as her mouth opened wider and wider. With one last cough, she spat the object out. "Is... that... my..." he voice was faint and she could barely breath. She wasn't much of an expert on biology but the flesh she coughed up looked like a major organ and matched the symptoms she was having. "That's... my lung..." she told herself. As soon as she said those words, she went into another coughing fit and the second one came out. Lisa felt better after that but also rather strange, her diaphragm wasn't moving, though her heart was still beating. She tried to take a deep breath in but no air entered her body and she tried to exhale but nothing came out. She looked at Max, wearing Joan's face, and tried to speak to him but without air she couldn't talk.

"The lady did say you wouldn't be able to get sick," Max said in Lisa's voice, which shocked both of them. "With me, she took something away and said when I came here I'll get several things back, I guess that means what she took from you," Max realized.

Lisa felt it weird not breathing or being able to talk, she found it especially weird hearing her voice come out of Joan's mouth. She tried to say what she was thinking but Max just shrugged. So Lisa grabbed a lock of his hair and pointed to the headless Cynthia. She pointed to her throat then Max's throat. She pointed to Joan's face when Max realized what she was saying.

Lisa tried to run to Joan's room but found all she could do was walk, her body didn't have the energy it needed. She opened up Joan's door and she would've gasped if she could. Sitting on her bed was a Faceless Joan, also with her blank crotch exposed. Joan looked around startled as someone came in, she waved her hands around, trying to find whoever came in.

"It's okay, Joan, I'm here," Max said in a calm tone and reached for her hand. "I'm here for you," Max cuddled into Joan. Joan pulled back confused for a moment. Max realized his mistake. "While I might sound like Lisa, I have Cynthia's body," Max didn't want to freak her out further but saying he had her face. Joan seemed to accept that and leaned in for support, she didn't care who was giving her the comfort she needed, so long as someone was. She then touched Max's new hair and felt his clothes, the curls were noticeably Cynthia's and the clothes belonged to a guy. Once again, Joan pulled back, looking for an explanation. Max bit his, or rather Joan's lips and said evey thing he knew.

Lisa didn't stick around with Joan for long, Max had that covered. She was not concerned for Stacey, seeing as Max had her body. The doorknobs they had on their rooms, while lockable had a little slit on the outside, that could be turned to undo the lock, so Lisa had gone to the kitchen to get a knife. She unlocked Stacey's door and found her head laying on the bed.

Stacey looked relieved, she had finally been found after an hour or more stuck like this. She noticed Lisa wasn't talking so she moved her mouth to try and see if Lisa would respond. Lisa did the same action in kind, pointing to her throat and shaking her head. Neither of them could talk to each other. Lisa grabbed Cynthia by the side of her head and walked her out to the living room and placed her on the coffee table. She then went and grabbed Cynthia, who was aimlessly walking stumbling down the hall. She sat Cynthia down at the couch. Stacey's eyes went wide as she saw the headless roommate, which made her glad that she still had a head.

Lisa placed Stacey in Cynthia's lap, so she had someone to hold for comfort and returned to grab her lungs off the ground. On her way back to the living room she got Max and Joan's attention and pointed at them to join her as well. Stacey wasn't impressed when she saw her former body wearing men's clothing. Lisa pointed to Stacey and made a talking motion with her hand. Cynthia wouldn't be able to be told what had happened but at least Stacey could. Though with the look on her face she was rather angry by the situation.

The five of them sat in the living room for a while in silence, mostly because only Max could talk and he didn't know what to say anymore. They were surprised to hear the doorbell wring and Lisa got up to answer it. When she opened up the door, the old lady was standing there with a smug look on her face.

"I've come to see how you've been handling my little curse," the old lady said. "I've also come with a peace offering," she added. Lisa moved out of the way so she could enter.

The lady sat down in the living room across from Stacey and made herself comfortable. "I'll get to the point, give me the rolls and I'll undo my 'blessing' you'll be able to breath again," she told Joan, Lisa and Stacey. "And you'll give them back their parts," she singled out Max. Lisa realized the woman was neglecting something, and so she pulled down her panties and pointed to her black crotch. "Oh, no. That's not part of the deal, I told you they'd be the last rolls you'll ever need to buy, I'm not changing that."

"Does that apply to what you did to me too?" Max asked without saying what it was.

"Yes and no," the old lady was at least honest. "You won't get your original set back, instead you'll keep the one you have on now. I can't let any of you get off without consequences after all."

Stacey stared her body and looked at his crotch, she then looked at the old woman, with wide-eyes.

"Oh, don't worry they aren't yours he has," the old woman patted Stacey on the head. "Now where are those rolls?" she turned towards Lisa. Lisa didn't feel like she had much of a choice as she went to Stacey's room and their toilet to grab them, she then got the two still in the packet. "Thank you, dear. I hope this has been a valuable lesson in not denying people what they need."

Lisa rolled her eyes and lead the woman to the front door. The other four were already arguing, indicating they had been returned to normal. Though Lisa's voice hadn't come back. Lisa pointed towards her throat.

"You coughed up your lungs, if you want your voice back, you're going to need to swallow them," the lady yelled loud enough for the others to hear. "Though I'm sure your roommates might want payback after what you put them through."

Lisa shut the door on the lady and returned to the others.

"What the fuck, Lisa? Seriously, what the fuck?" Stacey crossed her arms as she returned to them. "We send you out shopping and now we're stuck like this," Stacey revealed her blank crotch to emphasis the point.

Lisa pointed at Joan and Max, placing the blame on them.

"Yes, Joan and Max had their arrangement," Cynthia acknowledged. "But when you were at the shops you could've given the lady the toilet paper."

Lisa was frustrated she could argue back without hand gestures and pointed to her lungs on the table. "I bet you want to talk again," Stacey said as she picked one up. "You know lots of people are mute, it's not a hard thing to live with. Not like being mute and lacking a body."

"Or Lacking a head," Cynthia picked up the other lung. "Oh don't worry you'll get them back eventually, but right now we don't want to hear what you have to say."

Stacey and Cynthia stormed off too their rooms, carrying Lisa's lungs.

Lisa looked and Joan and tilted her head. "Don't look at me, I was left faceless, you don't know how scary that was. Not only that, but you've completely screwed things over between Max and me, I'm sexless and he has your cunt." Joan stormed off.

"I, uh, think I should go..." Max was red faced. "Don't worry I'm not going to mention this to anyone, ever!" Max left the room and headed out the door.

Lisa just stood there wishing she could sigh, she REALLY wished she hadn't drawn the short straw, then this would be someone else's fault as she knew all three of them would've kept the rolls for themselves.
