As soon as the clocks hit midnight and the costumes became all too real, chaos erupted in Hotel Black. There were about one hundred or so people in costume, however the number of people after that reduced somewhat as there were a few costumes that required more than one person, like the two people who became a single centaur. Other people got relatively harmless costumes, becoming slutty versions of different professions. There were also the few dangerous costumes, like the werewolves and vampires as well as evil clowns and ghosts and other villains, like the headless horseman and Medusa. Other people gained animal traits, there was one lady that had cow ears, a snout, a tail and udders, her skin was also covered in light fur in some areas.

Ryan didn't know what his costume was when it was handed to him as it was just a robe painted gold. Now it was past midnight though, he discovered that he was King Midas when his clothes turned to gold, weighing him down quite a bit. Ester, Ruby and Tammy had all been turned into old crones, left hunchbacked and covered in warts. They looked roughly the same as when Ruth drained the life out of them only an hour prior, except they were still very active in their ancient age. Only now they all lacked eyes and teeth, except for one they were forced to share. They had become the fates.

"Ryan, you are going to cause much chaos today but you will also save use from other threats," Ester muttered in a husky voice.

"Turn the genie into gold, she is the first threat," Tammy took the eye from Ester's head and placed it in one of her own sockets.

"You will survive the entire day," Ruby took her turn with the eye.

Ryan saw the person dressed up as a genie, it was the same woman who had possessed him earlier. He didn't like the idea of willingly turning someone into gold but Tammy knew something he didn't and having someone who could grant wishes was a bad idea. Even though those wishes probably couldn't affect Samantha or the day's occurrence as a whole.

"What are your three wishes master..." the genie begrudgingly asked the slutty maid. Thought before the made could answer Ryan placed his hand on the shoulder of the genie and turned her into a statue.

Ryan heard a hiss from behind and he saw Ruth standing there with her long fangs. She was young again and ready to feed. She grabbed Ryan and prepared to bite him but the instant she touched his clothes she turned to gold dust. The other formally elderly vampires turned into bats and flew off into the night.

"Two threats have been destroyed, though the remaining bats will feed until morning," Tammy walked over to Ryan.

"Many threats await the city, you are among them," Ester added.

"Samantha has secured the children and memories will be wiped," Ruby took the eye once again. "We cannot be destroyed but we can be trapped."

"Avoid contact with us."

"We will not survive the day in this state."

The girls began to fight over their eye and accidentally sent it rolling. Without thinking Ryan picked it up and the eye turned to gold. "Oops sorry," Ryan turned back to face the girls but they had all become gold. They were all connected to the eye so Ryan touching it was akin to him touching them.

Without Ester, Ruby or Tammy for company, Ryan wasn't sure what to do. The crowds in the hotel began to disperse as they brought the chaos their costumes brought with them to the city at large. A few people didn't make it out of the hotel though, Ryan saw the maid had lost her head and the cow-girl had been turned to stone as she was being milked by a slutty farmer, who also had been turned to stone.

It didn't take long for the chaos to engulf the city as monsters, evil clowns and serial killers began to kill without mercy, while others like the Medusa on the loose had turned more people into stone. Fires began to burn as some of the costumed people purposely started riots, knowing full well there would be no consequences tomorrow. Ryan heard the sirens blare as the emergency services began to arrive on the scene, a couple of werewolves mauled them almost instantly. The few that took cover were beheaded by the headless horseman.

Ryan tried to stop some of the more dangerous beings but his golden clothes weighed him down too much, though eventually he got one of the werewolves in mid feed. Unfortunately there were many more to get as anyone bitten began to transform immediately, despite the lack of a full moon. By the time morning came and those unaware of the dangers began their days, Ryan had managed to eliminate a few threats, like the Medusa. She was hard to get without being turned to stone, but she was no longer able to petrify anyone anymore.

"Excuse me," a news reporter touched Ryan to get his attention and ended up just getting herself turned to gold on live TV. This made the rest of Ryan's day a nightmare as half the city feared him, while others began to use him  to turn their possessions into gold.

Pandora decided to have her own bit of fun for the day as well, she tapped into Samantha's magic that made the costumes real for those in the hotel and spread it so that anyone who put on a costume today would be turned into it. This did include super heroes and zombies. Though their powers only worked in the city limits. This made the day even more chaotic and Ryan spent the better half of the day stopping super villains, dressed up as heroes and the zombie outbreak.

By the end of the day Ryan was tired and hungry. He hadn't slept for fort-eight hours and wasn't able to eat anything without it being turned to gold. He awaited for tomorrow when all this craziness would be behind him.
