"Cat!" Ruby screamed at Tammy as she drove the minivan back to town. Tammy steered to avoid the black cat in the middle of the road, making them crash into a tree on side of the road.

"Great...!" Tammy hit her fist on the wheel in frustration, as she unbuckled and stepped out of the car. The cat was at her feet and hissed before scratching her ankle then ran off into the woods. "Son of a bitch!" Tammy grasped her ankle. "Dammit it's bleeding!"

"Wrong animal Tammy," Ruby teased as she got out of the car. "Damn doesn't look like we're going to get any further in the van and this road is barely traveled."

"That's okay, it belonged to the nursing home, they don't really need it now that everyone's young again," Jessie stated as she opened the sliding door. "Besides we're not that far from the house we signed up at, that's probably intentional." Jessie saw everyone looking at her in confusion. "Oh right, you lost your memories of the start of the month, the sign ups for this challenge were at the last standing house of the old estates, we shouldn't be that far."

"I guess we're walking then," Ester added as she grabbed their bags. Tammy limped over to help. "Wow that scratch looks bad, you said it was a cat?" Ester asked sympathetically. "Ryan, Jessie and I can handle the bags. Ruby, you support Tammy." Ryan nodded as he grabbed Tammy and Ruby's bags, Jessie carried her own and Ester took hers and Ryan's. The headed down the road. on foot.

"Car!" Ryan screamed as one sped in their direction. Luckily for them it steered to avoid them but went plummeting down the mountain. "Holy shit! I hope they are alright." Ryan dropped the bags and ran to check on the car.

"Wait that's our car," Ruby commented. "I wondered where it went." Ryan tried to work out a path to make his way down when the car shimmered out of existence. "Do you think that was.. nah, it couldn't have been but then again..."

"Well it's gone now, better just get to the house, we don't know what other things are up this mountain," Jessie lead on.

"We don't know what's in the house..." Ester moaned.

"Hey Tammy are you alright?" Ruby asked as she scratched her injury, which now had a black patch of fur around it. Tammy looked up with yellow cat eyes and opened her mouth to reveal more jagged teeth. She growled and hissed at Ruby before running off towards the house. "I think Tammy's becoming a cat..." Ruby stated the obvious.

"Well she ran off towards the house, we better go after her," Ester pushed on.

It didn't take them long to get to the old house, it was only about a five minute power walk. When they got there though it was too late for Tammy. She was completely naked with black fur covering her body, she stood a good eight feet tall and had a tail half as long as her body, her ankles bent in an odd way before going into long paws, while her arms ended in a hand-paw hybrid with sharp claws at the end. Her dark red hair was gone and so were her normal ears. Someone was standing before her and she slashed at their throat with one paw and their gut with the other. Upon hearing the others catch up to her, Tammy's ear twitched and she jumped up into the tree in the drive way, bringing her victim up with her.

"Um, are we sure we want to go that way?" Ryan asked as he kept an eye on the branches above them.

"We're better off inside than out here with Tammy," Ester concluded as she dropped the bags and made a run for the house.

Ruby's morbid curiosity got the better of her as she looked up into the tree. "Hey that's the zombie me..." Ruby managed to see the body before it vanished with the same shimmer as the car. "What the..." She didn't get to finish that as Tammy leaped from the tree and began to slash at Ruby, killing the second one today.

Ryan was used to the death by now that he didn't even stop him in his tracks as he joined Jessie and Ester at the front door, which was of course locked. "There has to be a key around here somewhere..."

"Sure because the owners left a spare key behind on this house that's been abandoned for a hundred years..." Ester remarked sarcastically.

"Here it is," Jessie opened up a floor board and grabbed the old key. "I traveled back in time, I saw where the last owners kept the spare," she said as she opened the door, allowing for the others to run in for safety. Unfortunately Tammy managed to slash Ester's back before they shut the door.

Ryan examined Ester's back as he pulled her in closer. Tammy scratched at the door and meowed to get in. "It's not that bad, you'll live," Ryan assured Ester. The scratch was only skin deep.

"That's the problem," Jessie said as she grabbed an old rifle off the mantle. "She's going to change like her sister and we can't have one of those in the house. She fired a silver bullet into Ester's head, before Ryan could plead for her life. "A quick death, rather than giving us a painful one, that's the best we can hope for," Jessie justified. "Now Ryan," Jessie aimed the gun at him. "I think we've got an incident to discuss when you were in my body."

"It wasn't my fault, I wasn't in control..." Ryan pleaded.

"I know but I think I deserve to do this twice over," Jessie aimed the gun at Ryan's chest. "At least you'll come back from this," she fired the remaining shot. Ryan stumbled back as his lungs filled with blood. He reached for the front door and opened it as he collapsed to the ground. "You fucking..." Tammy ran into the house and killed Jessie.
