Ryan, Ruby, Ester and Tammy found themselves in a forest clearing. In the middle of the clearing there was a small shrine with four monkey idols. One was sitting with its hands in its lap, one was covering covering its eyes, one was covering its ears and the final monkey covered its mouth. On the shrine was a note reading: Take an idol each and return them to the lodge before nightfall.

"Is this going to do what I think it will?" Tammy eyed off the four monkey idols. "Though I thought there were only three monkeys."

Ryan was silent, no one brought up yesterday's events and he was glad Jessie wasn't here with them. The guilt he had about the pleasure he enjoyed in her body was too much. He was glad that he was himself once more. Ryan grabbed the forth monkey idol, the one with its hands in its lap and he instantly turned into wood. 'Do no evil' he heard a voice in his head.

"Okay, I was right about grabbing these idols changing us, though I don't get why Ryan became wood," Tammy examine him. "He's heavy it's going to be hard to carry him back." She pushed Ryan over so he was easier to pick up and carry.

"Why do we need to bring him back?" Ruby asked. "It's just going to make things harder."

"The note said bring 'them' back, so this is probably a we all make it back or none of us do," Ester eyed off the three idols. "I wonder what happens if we don't make it though."

Tammy grabbed the monkey idol covering its ears, the monkey lowered its hands as Tammy's ears vanished from her head. "I wasn't going to do the mouthless thing again, and I don't want to be blind," Tammy couldn't hear her own voice.

Ester and Ruby ran for the idol covering its mouth, as they fought over that one, Ruby won in the end. The monkey lowered its hands and showed its mouth. Ester flipped Ruby off as she went for the last idol. "Now what?" Ester asked as her vision faded.

"Ruby shrugged!" Tammy announced loudly. "I also don't know, I guess we should start by grabbing Ryan!" Tammy stood at the front. "I'll go first so I can announce things, Ester you go into the middle as you can't see! Ruby you take the back, if you need anything, drop Ryan so we know!" Ruby grabbed Ester and put her hands on Ryan, she then took up her position. "Now we just need to figure out which way to go."

"It's morning now, when I went fishing the sun was on the left side of the cabin," Ruby commented, however she couldn't see light so she had no idea where the sun was at the moment and Tammy couldn't hear her instructions. Fortunately she felt the back of Ryan drop and heard Ruby's footsteps, as she approached Tammy. Ruby wasn't the best with directions so Ester hoped she was able to figure out which way to go with that information. Tammy figured out a direction and away they went.

The walk through the woods was actually rather nice, minus the odd hiccup or two along the way. Tammy had to be Ester's eyes but she couldn't hear her own voice so missed when she spoke too loud or softly, or mispronounced a word, this lead to Ester missing a few obstacle, which lead to her tripping over a few times, fortunately Ryan was able to help her catch her fall. Though Ryan was another cause of problems, he was heavy and difficult to carry across the rough terrain and the sisters were forced to take regular breaks. Ryan came in handy a few times, as they used him as a bridge a few times.

Their biggest hurdle came late in the afternoon when Ester began to hear an alluring sound, the one that got her killed yesterday. She stopped and took a few steps back. "It's the mermaids," Ester told Ruby. "Tammy can't hear them so she's fine, but we'll be dragged off to our deaths.

"What's going on?" Tammy asked as she saw Ruby and Ester back away. Ruby didn't know how to tell Tammy of the danger but she figured it out as she used some leaves to make a mermaid tail. "Oh, yeah that is a problem, but it means we're close to the lake. I'd go ahead and find the lake but I don't know which direction the noise is coming from!"

"We could use this..." Ester realized. "You two carry Ryan as fast as you can and use me as bait," Ester stepped forward. "Do you have any rope to tie me to Tammy?" She asked. They did have rope in the back packs they had been given and were carrying the idols in. Ruby tied Ester to Tammy. "Okay good, Ruby find something to block your ears and you two carry Ryan, I'll go ahead, once we reach the lake and can see the lodge, cover my ears." Ruby nodded as she covered her ears and took up the position at Ryan's feet. Tammy looked at the rope and looked at Ruby, she understood what was going on. She grabbed Ester and moved her to where she had stopped before.

"Stay here until I say go," Tammy instructed. Tammy then moved towards Ryan and grabbed his head. Tammy and Ruby were able to lift Ryan up but it was a lot harder between the two of them. "Okay go!" Tammy instructed. Ester began to walk forward until she let the song take control. She was a bit fast for Tammy and Ruby, which forced Tammy to drop Ryan a few times and pull Ester back, she would cover Ester's ears and reset the position before letting go again. When they came across the lake, they were at the far side, though the lodge was in view. Tammy blocked Ester's ears, untied her and put her back in the center spot. With no audible commands Ester had to feel when Ryan moved and move with him. It took them the rest of the afternoon to make it back to the lodge.

When they got back inside, they shut the doors and removed the ear protection. "Wow, we're still here from yesterday," Tammy observed as she folded up her skin rug. She wasn't too keen on seeing it on the ground. Ruby on the other hand, happily used herself as a foot rest. Tammy gave her a look and grabbed out the monkey idols, she found a groove on the fire place for the three of them and placed each one where it belonged, restoring their senses.

"Oh wow," Ester rubbed her eyes and examined her glazed self. "Not sure I like this being here."

"At least with us here, they are probably dead again. At least I hope they are," Tammy commented as she took her rug to her room.

"So how do we fix Ryan?" Ruby asked as she touched up the stuffed version of her. "This kinda sucks, the flesh feels like flesh but underneath it's all hard."

"He kinda fused with his totem so year, that's going to make things hard..." Ester admitted. "I guess we either risk it by trying to carve it loose from him or we can accept he's just a wooden totem for the rest of the day and hope our condition for bringing them back to the lodge before nightfall has been met," Ester observed Ryan and the idol and didn't know what to do. "We might also be able to crack him open, see if he's there under the wood."

"It's up to you, he's your boyfriend... or ex," Tammy came out into the main living area again.

"I haven't actually worked that out myself yet," Ester admitted. "I guess we can't risk not fulfilling all the conditions, even it means missing out on a sisters night in. Let try cracking him open first." They got the tools required as they opened Ryan up. Sure enough he was just coated with wood and was holding the idol in his hands, though he still wasn't awake yet. Tammy and Ester got rid of the head of Jessie, Ester's glazed body and forced Ruby to put her foot stool body away before they took the idol out of Ryan's hands and placed it with the other three.

"How did I get here?" Ryan asked as he stepped out of the wooden shell. "Last thing I remember was grabbing one of the monkey idols and then I heard a voice tell me do no evil, then nothing."

"That'll be right you did nothing while we did the hard work..." Ruby gave him a soft punch in the arm.

"Well it's good to have you back, these last few days have been fucked up, I can't wait to leave here tomorrow," Ester gave him a hug, it was hard to tell if it was just friendly or something more.

"Speaking of leaving, where's Jessie?" Ryan asked, he shook his head as he remembered what he did yesterday.

"Good question, haven't seen her all day..." Tammy acknowledged.

Jessie had been stalking her prey all day, the only scent she had was her nose, which had been amplified for the hunt, however the Lawson's got too far ahead and she failed to steal the idols before they made it to the safety of the lodge. Now she was stuck outside, alone with only her sense of smell and touch. It was going to be a long night.
