The sound of the hotel alarm going off woke Ryan and the girls from their peaceful slumber. This was the first time since Samantha saved them from Esme that they actually saw the inside of a hotel room. The first day only Ruby and Ryan had been turned back into people and then got turned to stone, the day after they woke up stuck in those paintings. They didn't even get to take in the nice room as they quickly got dressed.

"Who was that woman at the auction yesterday?" Ruby asked. "You know the one who bought us, then left us in the hands of Samantha anyway."

"Another witch, who knew we had so many living in our town. It would explain the craziness of the last five days," Ryan surmised as he headed for the door.

"She kinda looked like you," Ester joined Ryan. "I mean if you had been born a girl."

"Hey, she kinda did," Tammy chuckled.

"Shut up...." Ryan groaned as he was teased. "Now where's the evacuation plan?" Ryan found the plan and quickly made a note of it. "And of course we're on the top floor..."

"Well we better hurry then," Tammy opened the door as they went into the hallway.

The hallway was dark and filled with other evacuees as the main lights above them flickered. "Alright, everyone move in an orderly fashion!" A sixty year old maid instructed as she waved the hotel guests towards the stairs. Ryan and the girls were the last in the evacuation queue.

"The dead walk again..." Ruby muttered as she felt a cold shiver as a gust of wind blew past her. She then heard the gurgling of someone trying to speak behind them. "What the hell!" She screamed as she saw two figures appear beneath a flickering light. One looked exactly like her just she was disemboweled and the other looked like Ryan, his body twisted and impaled by a large branch. What stood out to her was the clothing he was wearing, it almost looked like his undershirt had Tammy's breasts as a print and his hooded jacket had a printing that matched her hair.

"Ah!" one of the other guests screamed as she was attacked by two headless chicken.

"Ruby... there's three of you!" Tammy exclaimed as a third Ruby came out of one an elevator, this one looked normal enough, though her throat seemed swollen and her skin was pale and her eyes were dead white. This Ruby grabbed onto a random guest and bit him on the neck, pulling a large chunk of flesh away, she then continued attacking him like a feral animal.

"They're zombie!" Someone screamed, sending the orderly evacuation line into chaos, as people stampeded towards the stair case. One poor soul had fallen to the ground and had people trampling him until a stiletto heel went through his eye. He went still for a moment before coming back to life, tripping up the woman who had ended his life. He jumped on top of her and began to tear through her dress with his hands as he bit at her neck.

Ryan and the girls side stepped the zombies on the floor as quickly and safely as they could as the mauled Ruby and Car crash Ryan hobbled down the hall after them.

"What the fuck!" Ester was startled as a bald Tammy, with a head scar and Ruby's limbs, came out of another hotel. She had two dogs with her, one who had been mauled in a fight and the other had Ruby's head. The dogs lunged at the closest people they could find. The real dog was much more effective at mauling than the one with a human head.

There was no time to stop as they made it to the stairwell, screams echo throughout the building as people who tripped down the stair case got back up and began attacking others trying the flee. Ryan's heart skipped a beat when he saw a couple of people fall over the railing and plunged to the bottom.

"Not that way..." Ryan suggested as he grabbed Ester's arm and pulled her back into the hallway. "There should be another stairwell back in the direction we came from."

None of the girls questioned him as they saw the state of the stairwell. It was better to take their chances with the slow zombies. They ran back into the hallway, and they weren't the only ones. They made a run for it past the stiletto heel zombie and the zombie with a torn dress. They came across another zombie who's ankles had been torn to shreds by the headless chickens, they pushed past her with ease. They kicked the headless chickens before they could get anyone else. The intact Ruby zombie and her first victim were clawing the old maid and didn't notice the group until they were safely past them. The hallway was clear from chaos after that and the only two zombies they had to deal with were the hobbling zombies. The group crashed straight through them, knocking them down and causing the mangled Ruby to lose her head.

"Made it..." Ryan said out of breath as Ester, Tammy and Ruby all followed him into the safety of the other stairwell, as well as at least five other people. They barred the door behind them and looked down these stairs. "There's another group. We need to catch up to them and warn them." Ryan observed a line of people evacuating the building who were a few floors down. Ester and Ryan began to descend with the other survivors.

"Not so fast!" One of the men blocked Ruby and Tammy. "Four of those things looked like you and one looked like you!" The man accused them, he had missed the zombie that looked like Ryan because his face was messed up. "You're behind this somehow!"

Ester and Ryan were already at the bottom of that row of stairs and they looked up, concerned for Ruby and Tammy's safety. 'Just go' Tammy mouthed to them. She knew her fate was sealed but at least she could still save her younger sister.

"Now hold on just a.... aah!" Ruby screamed as she was sent tumbling down the first row of stairs.

"Ruby!" Tammy screamed as she saw her injured sister. Ester wanted to run back up after her but Ryan understood what Tammy wanted and he forced her to go down.

"I can't just leave her there!" Ester cried as she tried to fight Ryan.

"We have to otherwise they'll accuse us as well..." Ryan encouraged Ester forward. He hated it as much as she did but there was nothing they could do.

"You want to join her?" The man asked Tammy before throwing her back out into the zombie infested halls. "Take that you vile witch!" the man kicked into Ruby until she stopped moving.

"There's one in the stair case!" a woman screamed as a Ryan with a deflated pregnancy belly stepped into the stairwell. "These two are with them!" she pointed back to the living Ryan and Ester. "Ow..." she screamed as something bit her ear. "They are in my hair!" the woman noticed three tiny and squished zombies had landed on her head and began to attack. She lost her balance and fell over the railing.

Ester and Ryan ran quickly to join the other group, avoiding the pregnant Ryan zombie. Ryan looked back briefly and remembered the reflection in the glass.

"Oi you two get back here!" the man who killed Ruby yelled after them an undead Ruby got up and jumped onto the man's back, sending him tumbling down the stairs.

"Are those also Ruby and Tammy?" Ester asked as two more zombies walked into the stairwell, though these ones had no face. Ryan didn't even question it as he pushed past the blind zombies.

Ester and Ryan made it safely to the other group when four more zombies ambushed the front of the line. Sending people running back up the stairs. Ryan only briefly caught a glimpse of one of the new zombies as they ran to the thirteenth floor. He finally understood what was going on.

"Ester these zombies are us..." Ryan explained as they ducked into an open room and hid for safety.

"I gathered that..." Ester caught her breath.

"No, I mean it's every time we've died. I think what we've gone through over the last five days has been happening since the start of the month and those zombies out there are every time we've died. I saw one of the others in the stairwell, it was me when I was murdered by Tammy. When I had your bits."

"Wait are you saying you were pregnant?" Ruby recalled the last zombie of Ryan. "And those chicken... they were us as well?"

"On the day we woke up with no memories, I had a dream about becoming a chicken and I saw strange reflections in the glass as we were cleaning it up. One of them I had a pregnant belly."

"So... you're the one," Samantha appeared out of the shadows as she exploded four undead toads. "You're the one that birthed that abomination... I should've seen it earlier. At least I  know who brought her into existence so now I can take her out." Samantha's attention turned to a headless Tammy stepping into the room and Samantha quickly destroyed her with a fireball. "Of course, I can't do anything about it at the moment, I have no choice to see thing game to the end. Fifteen more days of suffering await you," Samantha pulled them to their feet. "This mess is your daughter's doing... oh I'm going to need to do some major damage control. A lot of these people weren't even players. Good thing I have a soul collector for everyone who dies in my hotel. I've also been using it for the game. Speaking of which, do you want me to kill you now or did you want to try to survive this zombie outbreak? Fair warning, I'm pretty pissed at you and will make your death painful."
