"Nothing..." Ester swore. "I woke up to find it sleeping at the bottom of my bed. I thought one of you put it there."

"What happened..." Ruby hugged Tammy for comfort and caught a reflection of her mangled corpse in a tree.
Ester joined her sisters and hesitated for a moment when she saw her head attached to a dog.
"I'm so sorry..." Ryan said in sympathy as he approached Ester and placed a hand on her shoulder. He could've sworn he saw an image of himself, pregnant.
"It must've been whoever brought that fucking pig into the house!" Tammy was angry.
Ruby stepped away from Tammy, keeping physical contact for as long as possible. "I'll call animal control."
Ryan stepped beside Tammy. "I'll help you clean this up."
Ester grabbed the dustpan and broom as well as some gloves for Tammy and Ryan as they got to work. They did their best to separate the shards of glass from the China as they tried to salvage what they could. Animal Control was quick to respond to Ruby's call and arrived as Tammy and Ryan were still cleaning up. The man saw the mess and froze. "The veil between dimensions has been shattered in this very spot... Beware a swap gremlin is on the loose!" Ryan and the girls gave him a funny look as he shook his head and continued to follow Ester. "That's a fucking pig!" The man from Animal Control yelled. "I was told on the phone it was a racoon or something."
"I said I didn't know what it was," Ruby clarified before bending down to whisper to Tammy and Ryan. "I didn't think they'd believe me if I said there was a loose pig," Ruby admitted as she helped the two of them tidy up. "I mean he says something about a swap gremlin but freaks out over a pig... What the hell is a swap gremlin anyway?"
"I got your pig," the man said, as he had it by the neck, it was squealing the entire time. "You kids and your crazy October pranks... I've had so many calls about farm and other exotic animals and it's not even half way through the month yet." He paused and blinked for a moment as something came over him. "Swap gremlins are nasty invisible creatures, they like to play pranks by swapping parts around, luckily the dimension rift was only open for a short time, I'd say you might only have one or two. You can't get rid of them though, they'll eventually leave on their own but not until November. I highly recommend you find somewhere else to stay unless you like your bits swapped around."
