It was Thursday the twelfth and Lucas was just finishing up his sixth day on the job. He had already gotten the routine down though at the moment his tasks were more focused on running errands for his co-workers, while he learnt what would be required of him in the coming weeks.

"Heading out, Lucas?" his manager asked him as he headed towards the elevator.

Lucas sighed internally, knowing it meant he was about to be tasked with something. "Yeah, just finished up."

"No problem, I was just wondering if you had any plans after work. The boss is throwing an office party and I was wondering if you'd like to join."

Lucas paused for a moment, this was an excellent opportunity for him, though it was short notice. The only issue he had was figuring out how to get home later as he relied on public transport to get to work, though he figured he could use a ride sharing service.

"That sounds great, thank you for the offer," he then headed towards the elevator with his manager and they headed up instead of down.

Lucas' heart raced as the elevator went up, he was not prepared for this, he hadn't met the boss yet so was eager to make a good first impression. The floor they arrived on was almost the second from the top, it was the floor that housed the main conference room as well as the break room for the executives and a place to entertain foreign guests.

"Not participating this time, Janice?" Lucas' manager ask the receptionist as they got out of the elevator and walked into the small lobby.

"Nah, the boss doesn't trust anyone but me to do this job," the receptionist replied before turning to Lucas. "Who's this?"

"Lucas, he's a new hire, mostly errand boy at the moment, figured this would be a good opportunity for him to learn the ropes, and get to know the company a lot better."

"Wow, you're really being thrown into the deep end. Well good luck and have a wonderful time," the receptionist said as she waved them down the corridor.

The party wasn't really a party, just a small gathering of one to two people from each floor. Lucas even recognised a couple of people already, there was someone from the mail room he had interacted with on a few errands, though Lucas didn't think he was all that good at his job, then there was Wendy the lady from HR that hired him as well the receptionist who greeted him before his interview with Wendy.

Lucas turned to his manager with a confused look. "The boss likes these things to be diverse, he see's it as an opportunity to get to know everyone throughout the building and it gives the staff the opportunity to know what other sections do. That's why I chose you as this month's guest, I figured it'd be the perfect way to introduce you to the company. Now go mingle while I talk to Mr Ferris."

While he was told to mingle, Lucas didn't get much of a chance to mingle with the managers or department heads as they left the room, leaving everyone else behind. Now all he had to mingle with were a few interns, a janitor, the mailman, the receptionist and a few people he could tell were either new or low on the corporate ladder.

"So anyone been to one of these things before?" Lucas asked, not knowing what to talk about.

"I haven't but I do know that a few people quit after these things are held," the receptionist confessed. "Some even put in for harassment claims, though they usually withdraw when questioned further."

"Wow, that's messed up. Are you saying this is some kind of... I don't know, pledge week?" One of the interns asked.

"Maybe, I don't know, I'm only a temp while the other receptionist is on maternity leave, I just heard a few other people from HR talking about the party and how it's always a nightmare when they're thrown."

"So we've got a temp, a few interns and some fresh hires as well as..." Lucas didn't finish his sentence as he didn't know how to describe the mailman or the janitor. "And they said this is a good way to know the rest of the company. Yeah this is a little weird."

Before anyone could say anymore, Mr. Ferris entered the break room, he placed a strange bowl with some weird engravings on the table. "IDs in the bowl," he said in a commanding voice. Everyone reached for their IDs but hesitated for a second. "Now!" Mr Ferris didn't like hesitation or time wasters. Everyone quickly complied and once they had all placed their IDs in the bowl, Mr Ferris placed one of his own in there. "You," he pointed to the receptionist, "Pull one of the IDs out." She quickly reached her hand into the bowl and pulled out Lucas' ID. One by one everyone else pulled out someone's ID, all that was left was Lucas and Mr Ferris' and the mailman's ID.

Lucas reached in and grabbed the second last card and turned it over to see that it didn't belong to Mr Ferris but belonged to a 'Maria Ferris' who given the year of birth was only eighteen.

"Good, now give them back," Mr Ferris instructed as he looked at the final ID. "You can all go now," he told them as Lucas was handed back his ID. He gave no explanation for the bowl or the so called party.

"Not you," Mr Ferris stopped Lucas before he could leave with everyone else. "I see you got my daughter's card. I would've preferred it had gone to that woman but these things happen. A word of warning though, when you wake up tomorrow you will treat the body you're in with respect and dignity otherwise... well you don't want to know what otherwise means. Now go."

Lucas was still very much confused by the afternoon's event and the bosses words. At least the so called party didn't go for too long and he was able to get home at a reasonable time.

* * * * *

When Lucas woke the following morning he wasn't in his bed, his mattress was soft and he was lying under silk blankets. He also seemed to be laying on top of some long hair, and there was a strange weight on his chest. He opened his eyes and saw strands of blond hair covering his eye. Instinctively he reached up and brushed the hair from his face with a hand that wasn't his own.

Lucas sat up quickly, sending the blankets flying forward and flicking hair over his face again. The weight on his chest shifted with the movement and as he looked down he saw two round breasts. "This isn't happening... this is a dream..." he said with an unfamiliar voice.

"Maria... breakfast is ready, your father is waiting," a female voice said as she knocked on the door. "Maria?" she asked when Lucas didn't reply straight away.

"I'll be down in a second..." Lucas answered so that she wouldn't feel the need to come in. The name she called him was familiar and it took just a small moment before he recognised where it was from. It was the same name as the ID he pulled out from the bowl. Now that he recalled that, he noticed the blonde wavy hair was the same in the photograph as well. Lucas stepped out of the bed, completely naked and looked at the vanity mirror next to the bed. "I'm Maria Ferris... I'm the boss's daughter," he said as he looked at his new face.

Lucas then noticed the rest of his body, he was completely naked and in no position to leave the room. He also recalled Mr Ferris's words just before he left. Mr Ferris knew this was going to happen. He gave away his daughter's body to one of his employees on purpose. With Mr Ferris waiting, Lucas quickly went through Maria's draws and found some underwear as well as a shirt and skirt to put on. He got dressed as quickly as he could, though the bra was a mess and his hair was all over the place and opened the door.

For a second Lucas froze in awe as he saw the huge house he was now living in. It was basically a mansion with heaps of expensive art and well looked after plants decorating the hallway. There was a fence leading to a flight of stairs that over looked the entry of the house. Guessing the dining room was down stair, Lucas walked down slowly, adjusting the wedgie he had from his hastily put on panties and trying to adjust the bra, though in doing so one of the breasts came out. Lucas tried to adjust it as best he could before he found the dining room where Mr. Ferris was waiting.

"How come you're not in uniform young lady?" he asked, looking at the train wreck Lucas was. "You've got school in an hour."

"Sir..." Lucas tried to be as polite as he could given the situation.

"Daddy..." Mr Ferris corrected. "You call me daddy."

"Daddy..." Lucas said gritting his teeth as he was about to lose his temper. "We both know I'm not myself today so I was wondering if I could stay home..."

"You're right, you're not yourself today, however that will not get you out of your responsibilities. Take for example my employees, do you think I'd be impressed if someone was only a little out of sorts but was still perfectly capable of working and took the day off?"

"No..." Lucas said but Mr Ferris didn't continue straight away "Daddy..."

"That's a good girl, though I guess if you aren't feeling like yourself today, I'm sure one of the maids can help you out. Now let's eat."

Lucas sat down, not too impressed with this role play session his boss was putting on, though he thought it best to continue the conversation as if none of this actually happened. "Say daddy, if you were to get me to work in the mail room at your work what would the purpose of that be?" Lucas asked between bites.

"Hmm, I guess to show you humility and how the other side lives," Mr Ferris smiled at the way Lucas answered the question.

"And if you were to shuffle your employees around to random positions throughout the company, what might that achieve?"

"That's an interesting hypothetical question, I guess if I were to do something like that, it'd be to see how they adjust to change, and perhaps see if they are better off where they are or if their natural talents could be used elsewhere, at least that's for the general office staff. For the managers and department heads, I'd make sure they'd swap positions on a frequent basis so they could know the inner workings of the other departments." Mr Ferris explained the reasoning.

"And if..." Lucas began without thinking as he looked down at Maria's body.

Mr Ferris raised his hand to cut Lucas off from that question. "That's enough questions for now, finish your breakfast so you can get dressed for school, at this rate you're going to be late."

"Yes, daddy." Lucas was glad his final question was interrupted, given how he reacted yesterday Mr Ferris didn't seem to like the idea of a man in his daughter's body, however he wasn't going to rig the system for her sake. She had been put in the draw so she could learn the way of the company and humility a part of that was giving her a man's body and putting a man in hers. For a second Lucas recalled the receptionist and how she was now in his body.

Mr Ferris got up from the table and walked over to Lucas, he bent down and kissed him on the forehead. "Don't worry I'm sure you'll feel like yourself again in a week."
