After a long day at work Jess was ready to go home and relax for the evening. Her landlord gave her a polite smile as she entered the apartment building. She smiled back as she entered the elevator and pressed the button for the third floor. She opened the door to her apartment and turned on the lights.

“Surprise!” Three people jumped out from her couch. Jess jumped in fright at the sudden appearance of her friends. “Happy Birthday!”

“How did you even get in here?” Jess asked as she got over the shock. She kicked off her shoes and placed her handbag on the table near the front door.

“The landlord let us in,” Zoe explained.

“Well this was a nice gesture but I’m tired and exhausted from work, so I was hoping to spend a nice quiet night at home,” Jess explained as she sat down on her chair.

“That just won’t do Jess,” Trina said as she opened up a box labelled ‘disassembly kit’. “That just won’t do at all….” Trina pulled out a large knife from the box and approached Jess and placed the blade up to her neck. “We paid a bit to get you this kit for your birthday and we intend to use it.

“What the hell, Trina! This isn’t funny!” Jess screamed as the blade touched her skin. “What are you doing?!” The blade sliced through Jess’s neck like it was made of air as Zoe grabbed Jess by the hair and lifted her up off her body. “What’s happening?” Jess asked as her headless body flailed around.

“It’s okay Jess,” Zoe said facing Jess towards her. “It’s magic, you’re perfectly fine and we can re-attach your head at anytime.”

“Then put me back on my body, now!” Jess demanded as she struggled to maneuver her body so she could snatch her head off Zoe.

“No can do, Jess” Trina said as she went over to Julienne and cut off her head. “We came to party and you’re being a buzzkill so we’re not giving you back your body until we get you drunk.”

Zoe placed Jess on her kitchen counter so she could watch Julienne’s head become attached to her body. As soon as it did, Jess could no longer feel her body and Julienne’s went limp. “I could get used to these,” Julienne complimented as she touched Jess’s breasts. She then walked over to a bag and pulled out a bottle of spirits. “This shouldn’t take too long, Jess is a lightweight.” She opened up the bottle and begun drinking it directly.

“Come on guys… I need to work tomorrow…” Jess pleaded.

“We’ll take care of it,” Trina said as she leant down to Jess’s level. “So why don’t you just relax as a head for a bit and we’ll get you when we’re ready to party,” Trina suggested as she picked up Jess by the sides of her head and passed her to Zoe. “Put her on her bed or something,” Trina commanded her. She then walked over to the disassembly kit and pulled out something else. “Hey, Jayjay, you don’t mind if I experiment on your body while you get Jess drunk do you?”

“Sure do whatever you want!” Julienne gave an enthusiastic yell as she returned to her bottle.

In the meantime Zoe took Jess into her bedroom and sat on her bed, placing Jess’s head in her lap, she then pulled out Jess’s hair tie and let her hair run loose. She reached for a hairbrush and started brushing Jess’s long hair. Jess found herself enjoying the experience despite the circumstances.

“We’re ready now,” Julienne said as she made Jess’s headless body stumble into her bedroom. Zoe stood up and placed Jess’s head back onto her body.

Jess found the experience to be rather interesting, her mind was still sober but her body was completely drunk. She stumbled back into the room and saw that Julienne was just a head on her coffee table. “How drunk did you get me?” Jess asked. She then looked down at her body. “Wait these aren’t mine, I thought you were just getting me drunk not swapping parts around too.”

“Aww, don’t you like my breasts?” Julienne asked. “I guess if you’re not happy about that, you’re not going to be impressed with the other change we made downstairs.”

“What other change?” Jess asked as she slipped her hand down her pants. “You got rid of my genitals?!” She screamed as felt the smooth skin.

“What gives, Trina? I thought you got Jess drunk. This doesn’t seem like drunk Jess to me,” Zoe stated.

“Give it time, her head just got reconnected I imagine it’d take a bit for the blood to circulate making Jess’s mind drunk as well.”

“How did you even cut that off with the knife, that seems like an impossible cut and where did you put it?” Jess asked a bit more relaxed.

“There we go,” Trina smiled. “We got a disassembly kit, Jess, it didn’t come with just the knife. It’s got a peeler for things like that, it says it works on mouths too. There’s also a few tongs that can pull out tongues and eyeballs. There’s even one for teeth but let’s not play with that one. Then there’s a set of clippers, the way I understand how that works you start shaving someone’s hair and instead of cutting it off, it makes it become a wig.”

“Ooh, can I try that, I’ve always liked Jess’s long hair,” Zoe said. “I also wouldn’t mind borrowing someone’s eyes that don’t require glasses.”

Trina walked over to Jess Zoe with the clippers and shaved her hair off then did the same with Jess, she then swapped the two around.

“That feels so much lighter,” Jess said as she ruffled up her new hair. She watched as Trina returned the clippers and got out the item that removes eyes. “Ooh let me have a turn with those.”

Trina shrugged and gave Jess the tongs, Jess then walked over to Zoe and plucked her eyes out. She took a step backwards to see where Zoe’s eyes were a moment ago was now smooth flesh, only her eyebrows remained. Jess turned around and looked at Trina and Julienne, wondering who she’d give Zoe’s eyes too. As she did she stumbled and dropped Zoe’s eyes, which went rolling across the floor.

“Oops my bad,” Jess said as she sat down on her chair, not even bother trying to find where the eyes went. She then took off her top and Julienne’s bra and grabbed the knife, cutting the breasts off her body. “Now that’s what I call a load off.”

“Can someone help me grab my eyes? This is very little disorientating,” Zoe said as she crawled across the floor. “It doesn’t help that I can only partially see my body with one of my eyes.

Jess grabbed Zoe’s hand and helped her up a little. “You know I’ve always liked your hands, I might try them on.” She then cut off Zoe’s hands then one of her own before attaching one of Zoe’s hands, then she cut off the other hand and attached Zoe’s other hand.

“How am I meant to grab my eyes now Jess?” Zoe asked.

“Not my problem,” Jess shrugged.

“That’s the spirit Jess, I was hoping getting you drunk would have this effect on you,” Trina smiled.

Jess grabbed the peeler out if the kit and walked over to Trina. “Shh… No talking,” she cut Trina’s mouth off her body. She then smiled as she grabbed the knife and cut Trina in half then cut her head off. She proceeded to finish her off by placing Trina’s head on her waist. “There much better,” Jess complimented as she directed Trina into her bathroom, shutting the door behind her. “You can come out when you ask or open the door yourself,” Jess laughed before returning to Julienne.

“What to do with you…” Jess asked as she held the knife in her hand. “I guess I’ve already got a see no evil and speak no evil vibe going on so I guess I could cut off your ears,” Jess said as she sliced through Julienne’s ears, replacing hers with them. She then cut Julienne and Zoe in half. She dragged the handless Zoe over to Julienne and attached their torsos together with Zoe facing down and Julienne facing up. “You two enjoy yourselves,” Jess instructed as she grabbed the loose bits and took them back to her bedroom. “I’m going to lay down for a bit.”

“Oww, my head,” Jess complained as she woke up the next morning.

Last night was a blur and all she could remember was her friends coming over and getting her drunk while they played with a weird magical kit. She put them in weird positions before restoring them to normal after she rested in her room for an hour but after that she wasn’t sure what happened, she remembered playing some games with them but that was it.

As her eyesight returned she discovered her eyes were in two different spots, one was on her dining room table, looking at her featureless head, while the other one was on her bedside table looking as her scattered limbs. Her vision was also rather blurry though she realised that wasn’t just because her eyesight was in two places but also because they weren’t her eyes.

“What happened to me?” Jess asked herself, surprised to actually hear her voice but she wasn’t sure where her mouth or ears were.

“Oh good you’re up,” she heard Trina’s voice. “You might’ve noticed you’re all over the place this morning, this was our challenge last night. You have until this afternoon to put yourself together, otherwise you forfeit your birthday present over to us. All your parts, except for you original eyes, you agreed to use Zoe’s for the challenge, are in the apartment with you. So is my mouth and one of my ears, so I could give you this message. You have control over your mouth, ears, Zoe’s eyes and two hands… good luck.”

“Sunnova… Alright Jess you can do this,” she gave herself a pep talk as she began to make her hands crawl.

They were in the bedroom with her so were her two arms, the main challenge she had was getting the door open, something she could do with a bit of reaching. Carefully and with a bit of difficulty she managed to get one of her hands to an arm and attached it.

“What the hell, why did I lose control?!” Jess yelled as that arm went dead.

“Ha, I knew you’d fall for that. We discovered last night body parts are controlled by the last thing they were attached to, we made all your parts other than your arms out of anyone’s control by attaching them to inanimate objects. You only had control of your hands because we attached them to your head last night. Good luck solving this one handed,” Trina explained. “Us girls will be back over your place by five so you better pull yourself together before then.”

Jess sighed, her task just became a whole lot more challenging and she was on a short timeframe. She didn’t want to give up her birthday gift nor did she want to be in such a vulnerable position when her friends came over again. She was now more determined than ever to finish this task, only she didn't know how she was going to do it. She knew her biggest obstacle was getting the bedroom door open but doing that with one hand on the floor was going to prove challenging.
