The naked and permanently pregnant goddess waddled through the endless halls of her chicken coup, placing eggs in her basket. These eggs were intended for infertile women who desired to have children. It was a small blessing to the mortals who had long since forgotten she existed.

“Who dares!” the goddess screamed as she dropped an egg she was holding, causing it to crack and spill its yoke on the ground which instantly bloomed with grass as a result. She couldn’t believe what she was looking at, an entire section of her eggs were gone. “He will pay for this intrusion!” she snapped as she sought out the only god daring enough to pull this off.

“I’m sooo bored,” the trickster god complained to himself. “You think having access to the mortal realm would have me excited but there’s so much things I could do that I don’t know what to do.” He paced back and forth as he contemplated what to do next when he noticed someone approaching him. “Oh hi, sis what brings you… gah!” the goddess grabbed him by the neck and held him up against the wall.

“Don’t play innocent with me, you would dare steal from me? Explain yourself right now, and tell me what you have done with my eggs!” the goddess demanded as she threw the weaker god to his knees.

“You stole from me… I get one day, one day a year and you take it from me,” he snapped as he got to his feet. “Yes, I took your eggs but worry not, they are on Earth, which was their intended location anyway.”

The goddess eased off a little, she knew how her brother was, not one to share the spotlight but somehow this year forced the two of them to share access to the mortal realm. “Well I guess a handful of eggs given to random women couldn’t hurt,” she pondered.

“Hahaha, women, that’s a good one. Why would you think I would hand out your eggs to the intended gender. No everyone I gave them to was a man.”

The goddess’s fury rose again as she approached her brother. “Men? Do you know what will happens to men who eat my sacred eggs?” the trickster god shook his head. “Well either do I, I must look into this at once!”

“You do that, in the meantime, I’m going to relax like I always do. See you when yo get back.”

"So I’ve checked on the damage your little stunt caused, you're lucky my eggs only turned those men into women. Their lives have been forever altered because of you but in the grand scheme of things, the damage is minimal," the goddess explained.

"Oh good, I was worried what kind of affect it would have, I guess I don't need to worry too much about the impact your hens will cause now." The trickster god knew she hadn’t noticed the missing hens yet and he could’ve gotten away with her not finding out until it was way too late but he prefered it when people did discover his pranks.

"Wait you sent one of my hens to Earth?" the goddess’s face went red in anger once more.

"Several, I'm surprised you didn't notice it sooner, then again you were focused on those eggs. Don't worry though, I sent them to good farms, they are free range chickens,” he assured her.

"This is a disaster, I must find them at once, before their eggs can do any more harm! When I get back father will hear of this!” she threatened.

"You better hurry, the doorway to the mortal realm is closing soon." he laughed as the pregnant goddess ran as fast as she could to the portal. He had no doubt that she would make it to the mortal realm in time and find her chickens. What he he did wonder though was whether or not she’d make it to the realm of the gods before the portal closed and if she didn’t what would happen to her if she didn’t.
