“I can’t believe we got snow especially after that 31 degree heat wave,” Mark comment to Amanda as he got out of the passengers side of the car and reached down to grab a handful of it. “Now I’m glad we decided to take this holiday down to Tasmania,” he said as he formed the snow into a ball. “Snow in December… unbelievable,” he said once again in disbelief.

Amanda got out of the car and investigated it for herself. “There’s not a lot of it though, not sure if it was really worth the drive up here. Even if it is extremely rare,” she said slightly disappointed. “I mean there’s barely enough to build a snowman with.”

Mark smiled as he threw the snowball at Amanda, hitting her in the head softly. She turned towards him and gave him a glare.

“Yeah you’re right there’s probably not enough for a full snow man but what about a Snowhead,” Mark suggested as he began gathering up snow. “Now can you come over here and give me a hand?”

Amanda walked over to the otherside of the car and began helping Mark build a small head sized ball of snow. It didn’t take them long and soon they were looking down at it.

“Okay now we need stuff to decorate it I guess,” Amanda suggested.

“Oh I already had an idea for that,” Mark said with a sly smile as he walked behind Amanda and grabbed the sides of her head and pulled it off. He then placed her head onto the snow and grabbed the snowball placing it on her body.

Amanda didn’t say a word and just looked up at Mark, as far as she could in this position. She just let him finish what he planned on doing.

Mark grabbed Amanda’s ears pulling them off and attached them successfully to the side of the snowball, next he pulled Amanda’s hair off leaving her head bald and giving the snowhead her long brown hair. Finally he removed Amanda’s nose, eyes and mouth and attached them all to the snowhead.

“So how do you feel?” Mark asked as he picked up Amanda’s blank head and placed it in the car.

“Weird,” Amanda said as she patted down her new snowhead. “I thought I would be freezing but I’m not. Also when I think it feels distant.” Amanda then walked over to the car mirror and inspected her new form further. The hair, ears, nose and eyes looked like they had been props attached to the snowball, it was only her mouth that looked weird, especially when she opened it. “I’ve got to hand it to you Mark, you certainly have some creative ideas when it comes to this sort of thing,” She praised unable to stop examining herself. “I wonder if the snow is protected like this or if it’ll ended up melting?”

“I guess we’ll just have to wait and find out,” Mark shrugged.
