Part 23

I took another step and another step getting ever closer to another set of doors. The doors then open and I'm blinded by a flash of light, there is a wedding photographer taking pictures of us. My eyes then recover and now I can see down the aisle. There are many people lined up on either side and all of them start to giggle. One of the bridesmaids then gives me a nudge and I start to move again. I see Amy start to toss flowers left and right and reluctantly I start to do the same. The giggling gets more intense now and then I see Mum Dad and Lauren sitting in the front row smiling and giggling as Amy and me continue down the aisle.

"What sweet little babies" said someone as we passed by.

"They look a bit old for diapers though" said someone else.

My cheeks were once again on fire and I was thankful when we eventually managed to get all the way down the aisle, although I was a lot more embarrassed now.Amy in particular was looking very embarrassed in fact her she kept looking to a certain point in the crowd, but I couldn't see exactly where she was looking. Unfortunately there were no seats anywhere and we were forced to stand next to the brides maids in front of everyone. The now far away doors opened again and Sue emerged taking elegant steps down the aisle which thankfully took the attention away from Amy and me, at least for a little while. Sue did look very beautiful as her dress sparkled and swayed as she moved down the aisle. As she closer she gave me a giggle and a wink, damn I thought I was staring again and I once again looked away in embarrassment. Sue then took her position up on the alter along with the groom. I then had to stand there for what seemed to be an eternity as they went through the process of getting married. My legs were killing me by the time that we could finally move again.

There would be no rest though and we were soon taken back outside the from the inside of the castle where we were then taken on a whirl wind tour of having our pictures taken with just about every single person there. The most embarrassing one was when Lauren was standing behind me and decided that it would be funny to lift both our dresses and petticoats up just as the picture was taken, this brought a good round of laughter from everyone, except Amy and me.

Soon a tall blonde woman with pretty blue eyes like Amy's came over to get her picture taken with us and when Amy saw her she tried to run away. She was quickly captured though by this woman who then spun her around so that she could see her face to face.

"Where are you going" said the woman giggling as she watched Amy turn another 10 shades of red "Doesn't Mommy's little princess recognize her own Mommy"

Suddenly everything was clear and now Amy's Mum was in on the game.

"Come on princess" said Amy's Mum pushing Amy closer to me "Let's get our photo taken with Mark and his Mommy"

I don't think that a more embarrassing picture was ever taken with Amy and me standing side by side and both of our Mum's standing over us with a hand over one of our shoulders. Our faces were so red that you could see it on the photo.

Our Mum's then took a step back to allow other people to have their photo taken with us, which went on for hours. When everyone finally did have their photo taken with us we were then taken to a building next to the castle. By this point I hadn't seen Lauren for quite a while and that was never a good thing for me. My fears were confirmed when we were bundled into the building and waiting there was Lauren and one of the bridesmaids. The most alarming thing however were the two frilly and sparkly white dresses that they were holding.

"I know how much you both want to wear a wedding dress" said Lauren giggling and twirling the dress around in front of me "So now we are going to make your wish come true"

Suddenly a very embarrassing day was about to become more so.
