Jeong didn't ask any questions. He had no desire to. When he woke up and found himself in that oddly narrow makeshift operating room, laying on an operating table, he didn't want to know any details. He just got up and left. It was better that way, he thought. If they could do this to him, he was terrified at what they would do to him if he made any noise about it.
That was three months ago, and a lot had changed since then. His condition didn't really need him to explain it, as it was plain as day that his head and his body did not go together. It was only a matter of time before the police got involved and when they finally questioned him, his feelings about all of this had changed. Others had been affected and he was done with being scared. He told then everything he knew.
That was a month ago, and since then a great deal had happened. The police found the perpetrators, a doctor and a small team who seemingly had no greater reason for doing it beyond that they could. Luckily, they were all caught and were awaiting trial in jail.
And, here he was, at the start of all of this, looking at Amanda, a country woman dressed in Jeong's best suit, looking very out of place both on her new body and in such a rural setting dressed like that. She walked over to the trailer and looked in.
"So, they did it here?" She asked in a thick rural accent. Jeong nodded softly as she took a moment.
"I can't believe it. Mad science shit and all they needed to pull it off could be held in this old thing! Damn!"
At that Jeong smiled. She turned and looked at him.
"You haven't said much."
"No need. You've said it well." He said, his cultured voice calm and even.
"I'll take you word for it, Jeong. So, what now, aside from the trial?"
"As far as I know, nothing. What's done is done, it seems. We're like this forever."
She frowned slightly, her pretty face looking around and then she turned and looked at him. Upon seeing him, her frown faded quickly.
"Oh well," she said, a smile now growing on her face. "I won't lie, I don't really miss my old body. Miss yours?"
"No." He said, then he stepped towards her, his steps light despite the boots. He got closer to her, leaned in, and gave her a quick kiss on the lips. Her smile turned from friendly to one of lust.
"Good."
