Clarissa walked up to Miguel, her light sneakers making almost no noise on the floor as she quickly got to him. In contrast, just him clicking one heel up and down seemed almost to echo. Maybe it was just because of the strangeness of the situation? She wondered if that was the case here.

She put a folder filled with papers down beside the two stacks of papers, then took a sip of her coffee. Realizing how close she was, she took a few steps back, much to Miguel's amusement.

"I'm not contagious, if that's why you're doing it." He said with a laugh.

She grinned as she swallowed her sip of coffee, then put it down from her lips.

"No, I can't imagine you can catch 'head transplant'. That's be a hell of a thing, though." She said with a laugh.

He chuckled at that, then his look got a bit more serious.

"So, at least you're still good with me. Thank god on that one, Clarissa."

"Its been bad?" She asked, now concerned. She was worried about that.

"Most people, you can tell they're not fine with it but they're trying. Some are like you, and a few, I don't know."

"Hopefully they get their heads out of their asses on that." Clarissa said, quickly taking another sip then setting her coffee down. "It's not your fault."

"True." Miguel said. "But try getting through to the idiots on that. Anyway, we have a ton of work to do. This whole city is losing their heads over all of this."

At that, Clarissa stopped. He noticed.

"No, I didn't mean that as a pun." Miguel said, realizing what he had just said. "Anyway, these mad scientist are the top thing on everyone's mind. The public wants every scrap of information anyone can find and so do our bosses."

"I'm surprised they aren't assigning more people." She said, then thought better of it. "Of course, I think I know why no one is exactly volunteering despite the demand for it."

At that, Miguel laughed.

"Seeing my head on Miranda's body and hers on mind would make most think twice. Just means we get the credit when we deliver. So, what do you have?"
